Crooked Lawyer gets break from Judge

Remember this creep?

Disgraced Lawyer Michael Avenatti Lands Reduced Prison Term

Michael Avenatti, a former high-profile attorney who rose to fame representing porn actor Stormy Daniels against President Donald Trump, was originally sentenced after pleading guilty to bilking his California clients and hiding millions more from the IRS.

He had the sentence vacated in October by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which determined that it was based on calculations of a greater loss to his victims than was actually suffered — and thus was too lengthy.

Senior Judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California Judge James Selna,  sentenced Avenatti to 135 months, minus 40 to account for a separate Stormy Daniels fraud sentence.

The court previously ruled that the Stormy Daniels theft was similar in nature, happened in the same time period, and therefore could be considered when deciding the new sentence.

Why is it that anti-Trumpers get breaks from these judges?

Michael Avenatti defends Trump

Michael Avenatti Tweets from Prison Saying Key Prosecution Witness in Trump Trial Is Lying About Stormy Daniels

Stormy Daniels’ former attorney, Michael Avenatti, has tweeted from prison accusing a key prosecution witness of lying in the New York hush money trial against former President Donald Trump.

Trump is on trial in NYC over an alleged $130,000 payment to Daniels to keep her quiet during the 2016 election — which he has denied.

On Thursday night, Avenatti tweeted, “Keith Davidson is lying. After I confronted her w/ her own text msgs, Daniels admitted to me in early 2019 that she & Davidson had extorted Trump in Oct. 2016 – it was a shakedown. This was one of the many reasons I fired her as a client in Feb. 2019.”

“There’s no question [the trial] is politically motivated because they’re concerned that he may be reelected,” Avenatti told the newspaper."

The Stormy Hush Money Scheme

Whistleblower Claims Michael Avenatti Reportedly Revealed Michael Cohen Was Having Affair With Stormy Daniels Since 2006—Cooked Up Hush Money Scheme To Extort Money From Trump Before 2016 Election

Tony Seruga is a very popular commentator on Twitter. In his profile, the conservative commentator with over 77K followers, Mr. Seruga, states that he’s an Intel Ops CIA/NSA Contractor/Whistleblower.

Tony Seruga claims he used to share office space with the convicted felon and former attorney, Michael Avenatti, who represented porn star Stormy Daniels in her case alleging that then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump paid her hush money to keep their alleged “affair” out of the public.

Remember him? The Alt-Left Democrat gals on The View wanted him to fun for President. LOL.

Seruga’s tweet begins: “I spoke with Michael Avenatti, who at one time had an office in the same building as one of my businesses in Newport Beach, CA (in November 2018, a few days after his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence, Avenatti’s law firm was evicted from those same offices in Newport Beach after skipping $213,000 worth of rent payments).”

“The whole hush money scheme was cooked up by Michael Cohen to extort the Trump Organization before the 2016 election. Avenatti seemed pleased at how deviant Michael Cohen was.”

Stormy has new documentary on Peacock March 18

Stormy Daniels documentary mocks Trump enemy Michael Avenatti

Stormy Daniels' new documentary, Stormy reveals the adult entertainer's discomfort with the publicity following her allegations of an affair with Donald Trump, along with criticism of her former lawyer, Michael Avenatti, who helped her in the legal battles against the former president.

In the revealing production set to premiere on Peacock, Daniels discusses the challenges and media scrutiny she faced after her claims of an affair with Trump became public.

The documentary does not shy away from discussing Daniels's relationship with Avenatti, once a key figure in her legal team against Trump.

Avenatti, who is currently serving a 14-year prison sentence for financial crimes, is depicted unfavorably, with Daniels accusing him of betrayal and suggesting he forged her signature.

Daniels' interactions with Avenatti in the documentary include moments of mockery, reflecting her disillusionment and betrayal by someone she once trusted in her fight against Trump.

Despite her efforts, Daniels lost the lawsuit and was ordered to pay Trump's legal fees, a significant setback in her legal confrontations with the former president.

Extortion and Honest-Services Fraud upheld on Appeal

Michael Avenatti loses major appeal that would have reduced his prison time

Michael Avenatti is best known for his legal representation of adult film actress Stormy Daniels in lawsuits against then U.S. President Donald Trump, his outspoken criticism of conservative politicians, and his conviction for attempting to extort sports apparel company Nike. [wikipedia]

His appeal involved Nike.

It's difficult to believe, at this point, that disgraced former high-profile lawyer Michael Avenatti was once a presidential candidate promoted by many in the mainstream media. Remember the brainless on The View?

The insipid Ana Navarro at The View

Avenatti's life is much different now as he faces ongoing legal woes, prison time, and a major loss in his latest effort to convince a court to reduce his jail sentence for his case involving the extortion of Nike for millions of dollars.

Avenatti's latest defeat comes just three years after he was convicted in the case of "extortion, wire fraud and transmission of interstate communications with intent to extort."

Avenatti sentenced to 14 years

Trump-hating attorney Michael Avenatti gets a whole lot of prison time

Stormy Daniels' ex-lawyer guilty of fraud on top of previous jail sentences

Remember when the Left thought he was so great and even wanted him to run for President against Trump? What a hoot.

Lefties sure can pick em.

A federal judge in California sentenced disbarred attorney Michael Avenatti to 14 years in prison Monday for wire fraud and a tax offense.

Avenatti received a four-year prison sentence in June for wire fraud and identity theft for stealing $300,000 of revenue from his former client Stormy Daniels’ book “Full Disclosure,” having already been sentenced to 30 months in prison in June 2021 for trying to extort Nike.

Michael Avenatti Porn Lawyer in trouble

Michael Avenatti Charged With Extortion and Wire Fraud

Remember a few years ago when the Left-Wing Fake news media were touting him to run for president in 2020? He caused a storm when he went after President Trump with his hooker client, Stormy. Brian Stelter, CNN's resident ombudsman, dedicated regular segments speculating with Avenatti about his political future, entertaining him as a serious presidential contender. Joy Behar on The View thought it a swell idea.

As usual, these lame brains were wrong about Avenatti as they are wrong about most everything.

Creepy Porn Lawyer Arrested

Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) say Avenatti formulated a scheme “to extract more than $20 million in payments from a publicly traded company by threatening to use his ability to garner publicity to inflict substantial financial and reputational harm on the company if his demands were not met,” according to the criminal complaint.

Couldn't happen to a sweeter guy.

Tucker Carlson and Creepy Porn Lawyer

Well, the video doesn't show you much. "It was reported that Tucker Carlson responded to creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti's (the guy who says he wants to run for president) claim that he was investigating an alleged assault on a 'gay Latino immigrant' by the Fox News host last month, saying in a detailed statement that the man had called his teenage daughter a "whore" at a Virginia country club.

The response comes after Avenatti, who has clashed with Carlson before, tweeted a video that appeared to show Carlson telling someone "get the f--- out of here." The video does not show Carlson assaulting anyone." [The Hill]
