Democrats count non-citizens for House seat apportionment

They owe us 18 seats

That's right, true to form and keeping on-brand, the Democrats have been caught stealing again.

More specifically, they have robbed Republicans of 18 seats in the United States House of Representatives by counting non-citizens in the U.S. Census.

This is expressly why Joe Biden, Barack Obama (the man behind the curtain making the Corpse of Biden dance) engineered the illegal entry of 12-20 million illegal aliens in his disastrous four-year run.

Federal law currently bases House seat apportionment on total population instead of citizenship, meaning illegal aliens and other non-citizens are included in the numbers used to allocate seats and Electoral College votes.

This system has shifted dozens of House seats over time, redistributing political power toward states with larger non-citizen populations. Republican legislators have warned that counting illegals “destroys equal representation” and gives disproportionate influence to states that give them "sanctuary." But congress has done nothing to fix it.

The right to representation belongs to American citizens, not foreign nationals who have no legal right to vote.

Until Congress ends this insanity and ensures only citizens are counted for purposes of representation, the voice of every lawful American voter will remain muted by a system that rewards illegal presence and effectively cancels out citizenship. [Strictly Speaking]

It's no wonder that many blue states want the Popular Vote law that will guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia...California, New York and states where most illegals are, will control our country and its policies.

Another example of how the Marxist leftists are threats to our democratic processes is found with the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC). This is a conglomeration of leftist states, and the District of Columbia, who have stated that regardless of who wins their States’ popular vote, they will only support, with electors, the presidential candidate who wins the national popular vote.

The NPVIC was introduced in 2006, and as of now, there are 17 states, along with the District of Columbia, that are signatories. The 17 States are Maryland, New Jersey, Illinois, Hawaii, Washington, Massachusetts, Vermont, California, Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, New Mexico, Oregon, Minnesota, and Maine."

You have to wonder how these people get elected

It never ceases to amaze how many elected officials seem to have skipped the day in civics class when they covered the Constitution—you know, the foundational document they swore an oath to uphold.

Once again, here come the Democrats, filing a bill and pushing yet another half-baked scheme to “restore democracy” by abolishing the Electoral College. It’s the same tired mantra, and it’s just as misguided—and unconstitutional—as ever.

First, let’s start with some facts that Senate Democrats appear oblivious to. Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution spells it out as clearly as it can be spelled:

“Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors…”

In other words, we don’t have a direct popular vote for president. Never have. Instead, the states—sovereign entities in our federal system—hold elections to choose electors, and those electors meet to vote for the President of the United States.

This system, known as the Electoral College, is both brilliant and necessary because it ensures every state—not just New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago—has a voice in choosing the president.

New polling of battleground states forecasts wins for Donald Trump across the board in a quartet of them, positioning him for 280 electoral votes and a return to the White House.

The surveys from Insider Advantage and the Trafalgar Group spotlighted contests between Trump and Harris in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, and Georgia.

In the Keystone State, where 19 electoral votes are up for grabs, the Insider Advantage survey shows Trump up 48% to 47% among 800 likely voters over the Democratic nominee, with 3% undecided and 2% saying they will support another candidate.

The average poll in the state shows Trump up by half a percentage point, so this aligns with the narrow lead the GOP nominee has currently and with historical performance; the former president won it in 2016 by 0.73% and lost it 4 years later by 1.17%.

And the Harris campaign distanced itself from any suggestion that it was planning to abolish the Electoral College.

But Walz's comments highlight Democratic frustration at a system they believe clips their wings when their candidates have won the popular vote in seven of the last eight presidential elections.

Governor Mills Allows National Popular Vote Legislation to Become Law Without Her Signature

A bill that would have Maine pledge its Electoral College votes based on the national popular vote for president cleared the state House of Representatives on Tuesday by the narrowest of margins, 73-72.

Governor Janet Mills announced today that she will allow LD 1578, An Act to Adopt an Interstate Compact to Elect the President of the United States by National Popular Vote, to become law without her signature.

Under the legislation, Maine joins the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which would only take effect if the coalition secures pledges for at least 270 electoral votes – the threshold needed to elect a president. Sixteen states and Washington, D.C. have joined the compact for a total of 205 electoral votes thus far. With Maine, the total of electoral votes increases to 209 – 61 short of the compact taking effect.

Republicans fiercely oppose it, describing the scheme as an end run around the U.S. Constitution.

Of course, this is just another devious Democrat ploy to abolish the Electoral College and a handful of states will control the election thus the winner.

Wikipedia: The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) is an agreement among a group of U.S. states and the District of Columbia to award all their electoral votes to whichever presidential ticket wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The compact is designed to ensure that the candidate who receives the most votes nationwide is elected president, and it would come into effect only when it would guarantee that outcome.

Introduced in 2006, as of April 2024 it has been adopted by seventeen states and the District of Columbia. These jurisdictions have 209 electoral votes, which is 39% of the Electoral College and 77% of the 270 votes needed to give the compact legal force.

Raskin called the Electoral College a ‘danger to the American people. Raskin also slammed the US Constitution echoing the calls of other closet Marxists by insisting that a US president should be elected by the popular vote."
