Socialist Troy Jackson

Democrats Pick Troy Jackson to Challenge Sen. Collins in Maine Senate Race

Jackson, a former state Senate president, is the Democrats’ replacement nominee after Graham Platner dropped out following sexual assault allegations.

He has been a registered Republican, Independent and now a Democrat.

Despite being a progressive Democrat, Jackson began his political career as a Republican. Following the blockade, he unsuccessfully ran in 2000 as a Republican for the Maine House of Representatives. At the time, he was opposed to abortion, a position he has since reversed.

Jackson ran again in 2002, this time as an Independent, and won, beating the candidate he lost to two years prior. He changed his affiliation to Democrat in 2004 and has remained in the party since.

Jackson served as a delegate at the 2016 Democratic National Convention and was part of a small number of delegates who voted for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who lost to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Clinton went on to lose the election to President Donald Trump.

Jackson unsuccessfully ran for governor this year, losing to Hannah Pingree

Platner calls Fetterman an A-hole

Maine Democratic Senate candidate calls Fetterman a profanity at town hall as party infighting escalates

Graham Platner, the progressive Democrat in Maine's Senate primary, stood before supporters in Portland on Sunday night and called Sen. John Fetterman "an a**hole", out loud, on camera, two days before voters headed to the polls.

The remark, delivered in response to a supporter's question about whom Platner would work with in Washington if elected, captured the raw state of a Democratic Party increasingly at war with itself. Platner wasn't talking about a Republican. He was talking about a fellow Democrat, one who has spent recent weeks publicly challenging Platner's fitness for office.

The exchange is the latest in a feud that has grown personal, profane, and impossible for Democratic leaders to ignore.

What Platner said, and why--

At the town hall in southern Maine, a supporter asked Platner which senators he looked forward to working with in Washington. Platner framed the Senate as a place built on relationships and said he didn't want to go to the capital and "simply be nonfunctional."

Then he went further.
"I mean, as you can all probably tell, we got a lot of criticisms about the way this government functions. But in order for us to make it functional, we're going to have to do stuff. And you can't just go down there and be John Fetterman and just and just kind of just sort of be an a**hole."

More on the Creep who has a gift of persuasion

Democrats rally behind Maine candidate Graham Platner despite sexting scandal

Graham Platner, the Democratic Senate candidate in Maine, showed up on Capitol Hill Tuesday to meet with party leaders, not to answer questions about reports that he sent sexually explicit text messages to multiple women early in his marriage, but to collect handshakes and reassurances that the party still has his back. He got both.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer met with Platner and afterward told reporters he stands by his endorsement. He did not, however, answer questions about whether the revelations concern him or whether he found Platner's explanations satisfactory. NBC News reported that Schumer simply dodged those inquiries and repeated his campaign line.

The pattern tells you everything. Reports emerged over the weekend that Platner's own wife privately alerted a campaign official that her husband had sent sexually explicit texts to other women. Not one Democratic senator has pulled support. And the candidate himself left the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee headquarters, after spending more than ninety minutes inside, without saying a single word to reporters shouting questions at him.

Schumer kept it short and vague when pressed by the Capitol Hill press corps.
"I endorsed Graham Platner. We're going to beat Susan Collins and take back the Senate."
That was the full extent of his public commentary on a scandal that, in any other cycle and involving any other party, would have triggered wall-to-wall cable coverage and editorial demands for accountability.

Graham Platner’s deleted Reddit comments

The Maine Monitor

Graham Platner’s since-deleted Reddit comments became a flashpoint during his Democratic primary campaign against Gov. Janet Mills for U.S. Senate, but they didn’t prevent him from effectively clinching the nomination after Mills withdrew her candidacy April 30.

Many of those individual comments have been reported on or featured in attack ads by both Mills and Sen. Susan Collins-aligned super PACs, but they represent just a handful of the roughly 2,000 that make up Platner’s Reddit footprint.

Now The Maine Monitor is presenting the full archive so people can read the comments more easily for themselves.

The collection spans more than a decade — from when Platner was ages 24 to 37 — and provides a rare glimpse into the thinking of a candidate at a time when he betrayed no political ambitions and could not have known how future voters might have viewed his online commentary.

He said he “became a communist” as he got older, criticized police officers and asked why Black people don’t tip. But perhaps the most discussed comment was from 2013, when Platner responded to a post titled “shorts that prevent you from being raped” by writing:

“Holy fuck, how about people just take some responsibility for themselves and not get so fucked up they wind up having sex with someone they don’t mean to? Men and women, you make a choice to consume enough of a substance to lose your self control. So if you don’t want to be in a comprising situation, act like an adult for fucks sake.”

Graham Platner pays influencers to promote him

Graham Platner's 'grassroots' Maine Senate campaign paid tens of thousands to firm that pays influencers to promote him

Democrat Graham Platner has built his Maine Senate campaign on the promise of grassroots authenticity, no corporate PACs, just ordinary people powering a populist challenge to Republican incumbent Susan Collins.

But his own campaign finance disclosures tell a different story. Since September, Platner has paid at least $36,437.94 to a Democratic consulting firm that maintains a stable of social media influencers who promote candidates and causes for pay, and at least one of those influencers has repeatedly urged his audience to donate to Platner without disclosing any financial connection.

The Washington Free Beacon reviewed Platner's FEC spending records and found the payments went to Be a Good Influence LLC, a Louisville, Kentucky-based firm commonly known as Good Influence. The company describes itself as "the trusted partner for measurable creator-led campaigns" and says it "bundles elite news and cause-focused online creators together to create a network effect" for its clients.

The gap between Platner's public image and his spending habits is the kind of thing voters in a purple state like Maine deserve to know about, and the kind of thing mainstream outlets have so far failed to report.

Platner built his campaign on the claim that he answers to ordinary people, not moneyed interests. His own FEC filings show he's paying a professional operation to manufacture the appearance of organic enthusiasm. If that's grassroots, the word has lost all meaning.

The LOON wing of the Democrat Party

Senator John Kennedy shreds radical Democrat candidate Graham Platner

Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana took a few swings at Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner during a Fox News appearance. The exchange touched on Platner’s politics, the Democratic Party’s left flank, and the growing fight over who can best frame the race in Maine. Kennedy kept it sharp and simple, which is exactly what his supporters expect from him.

In the interview, Kennedy was asked a direct question about Platner. He answered with a joke and then moved straight into the broader fight he sees inside the Democratic Party. The remarks were aimed at the party’s most progressive voices, and Kennedy used his usual one-liners to make the point.

MCENANY: Is Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner (D) your kind of man?

SEN. JOHN KENNEDY: I actually prefer women to men. But to each his own. “They think that kids should be able to change genders at recess. A lot of the looners hyperventilate on their yoga mats if you use the wrong pronoun!”

“The faction in control of the Democrat Party is the LOON wing, the SOCIALIST wing. Its leaders are Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, Mayor Mamdani, elder statesman Bernie Sanders. Mr. Platner is a member. They have deeply weird beliefs.”

“They think that cops are a bigger problem than criminals. They believe in open borders, which is why they want to defund ICE. That’s what we’re fighting over right now in Washington, DC. They’re angry.”

Massive Medicaid fraud in Maine.

Gateway’s founder and CEO, Abdullahi Ali

House panel probes Somali health contractor fraud

Another potential government boondoggle is under the microscope as the House Oversight Committee digs into allegations of massive Medicaid fraud tied to a Somali-led health contractor in Maine.

The investigation centers on Gateway Community Financial Services, with possible links to similar schemes in Minnesota, prompting Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services to slam the brakes on Medicaid payments to the company after damning whistleblower claims and media exposure, as NewsNation reports.

The Oversight Committee was already sniffing around questionable Medicaid dealings among Somali contractors in Minnesota when their radar pinged on Gateway in Maine. NewsNation’s sharp reporting brought this mess into the spotlight.

The committee isn’t messing around, naming Gateway’s founder and CEO, Abdullahi Ali, as a person of interest in this unfolding drama. Maine State Rep. Deqa Dhalac, a Democrat and former assistant executive director at Gateway, also landed on the radar.

Even Maine’s Democrat Gov. Janet Mills has gone radio silent on the matter, dodging NewsNation’s calls for a statement. The Maine Department of Health and Human Services also clammed up when pressed for answers.

Somali Fraud in Maine

Taxpayer Alert: Massive Medicaid Fraud Uncovered in Maine’s Somali Community

It's not just in Minnesota

The corrupt underbelly of America’s broken immigration and welfare system has been exposed once again, this time in the state of Maine, where a whistleblower has come forward to allege a massive Somali-led Medicaid fraud scheme.

This scandal is a direct consequence of the open-border, America-last policies championed by the left and their media allies, who would rather cover up this theft than investigate it, because it exposes the catastrophic failure of their progressive utopian vision.

Just as in Minnesota, the city of Lewiston, Maine, has become a hub for this alleged criminal enterprise, where taxpayer dollars meant for the needy are instead being systematically looted.

The whistleblower, Christopher Bernardini, a former employee of the state-contracted organization Gateway Community Services, has blown the lid off this operation.

He describes a brazen system of fraud where, “We started getting some clients calling and saying months later that their client owed them hours. They hadn’t come in for these shifts and stuff. But I had a time card for it.” When asked point-blank if this was fraud, Bernardini stated, “Absolutely. No doubt about it.”

This is the sickening reality that the liberal media refuses to spotlight: a coordinated effort to file false records and bill American taxpayers for services never rendered, draining vital resources from our own citizens.

This is not an isolated incident but a pattern of exploitation made possible by the Democrat Party’s commitment to unchecked immigration and its refusal to enforce basic accountability for how public funds are spent.

Somali Widespread Fraud

Allegations emerge of Somali immigrant-led fraud in blue state of Maine

Maine is now ground zero for a Medicaid fraud scandal that has conservatives fuming and progressives scrambling for cover.

Accusations of widespread fraud tied to Gateway Community Services, a Portland-based outfit led by Somali-American CEO Abdullahi Ali, have erupted, echoing a massive scandal in Minnesota and raising questions about oversight in Democrat-run states, as the Daily Mail reports.

Let’s start with the whistleblower, Christopher Bernardini, who spent seven years as a billing expert at Gateway until he walked away in April 2025. He’s now alleging the organization bilked Maine’s Medicaid program, known as MaineCare, out of millions.

Gateway, under Ali’s leadership, reportedly raked in $28.8 million through MaineCare payments. Reports from The Maine Wire even suggest he bragged about funding a militia back home, which doesn’t exactly scream “trustworthy steward of public funds.”

Ali took to X to push back, declaring, “I make no apologies for building a successful business in Maine, working hard to earn a living, earning my PhD, giving back to my Maine community, and running for office in Jubaland.”

In Minnesota, a jaw-dropping $300 million was allegedly stolen from a federal meals program, with some estimates suggesting the total fraud across schemes could top $1 billion. Over 50 people have been convicted, with dozens more cases pending.

Court filings there hint that stolen funds were shipped to Somalia or used to snap up East African properties.

Social Media Outburst by Alt-Left Liberal teacher Draws Federal Attention

Maine Teacher's Controversial Posts About President Spark Federal Investigation

A Maine high school teacher has ignited controversy with her online remarks about President Donald Trump.

According to Breitbart, JoAnna St. Germain, an educator from Waterville High School, has openly called on the Secret Service to eliminate Donald Trump and his close allies, deeming his administration and actions as dictatorial.

St. Germain’s posts were not only visible but prominently displayed on her Facebook profile, even being pinned for maximum public visibility. In her outspoken messages, she labeled Trump as having usurped power and not being properly elected, further accusing him of boasting about election interference.

The comments drew swift backlash, leading to the involvement of local law enforcement and the Secret Service. The Waterville Police Department confirmed its cooperation with federal agencies to ensure the safety of the community, especially the younger members.

Maine went to war with Trump over men in girl's sports

The Democrat Party will shred the Constitution at the drop of a hat

Now the Left is preparing for their most dangerous move yet.

And Democrats tried to force one awful change to the Constitution but picked a fight with Donald Trump they could never recover from. Maine Democrats seeks to codify men playing women’s sports in the state Constitution.

The State of Maine and its radical left-wing Governor Janet Mills want to wage war on President Trump’s common sense executive order banning biological males from playing women’s sports.

President Trump signed the executive order to much fanfare as a New York Times/Ipsos poll found 79 percent of Americans oppose letting men compete in girls’ sports.

Maine defied President Trump as Greely High School allowed a biological male to compete in a girls high school pole vaulting event which the boy won.

School officials in Maine claimed it had the right to ignore federal law because the Maine Human Rights Act somehow supersedes the Constitution’s supremacy clause.

Federal Funding pause in Maine's College System

Trump administration halts Maine university funds in trans athlete policy dispute

A clash between federal and state authorities intensifies as deep blue Maine's public universities face financial consequences for their stance on transgender athletes in women's sports.

According to Breitbart News, the Trump administration has directed the U.S. Department of Agriculture to suspend federal funding to the University of Maine System after the state refused to comply with an executive order banning transgender athletes from women's sports competitions.

The University of Maine System, comprising eight public colleges and serving approximately 30,000 students annually, now confronts a significant financial challenge. The funding pause affects nearly $30 million in federal assistance that was awarded to the institution in 2024.

Maine's steadfast opposition to the federal directive has prompted the USDA to investigate potential violations of Title IX and Title VI regulations.

Maine Governor falling on her sword for a miniscule percentgage of Trans athletes

Charlamagne Blasts Dem Governor for 'Losing Talking Point' on Transgender Athletes

Charlamagne tha God didn’t hold back Monday. He slammed Maine Gov. Janet Mills for her stance on transgender athletes in women’s sports.

“Why are folks still talking about trans athletes?” he said on The Breakfast Club. “That is a losing talking point. America’s not with it.”

He argued the issue affects a tiny group but makes many people think politicians lack common sense. “So why are they even having that conversation?” he added.

The radio host reacted to a heated exchange between President Trump and Mills. They clashed over Maine’s transgender policy in girls’ and women’s sports. Trump ended it with an executive order.

At a White House meeting, Trump told Mills to comply. “I’m complying with state and federal laws,” she said. Trump shot back, “Well, we are the federal law."

Democrat Governor in Blue State pulls some devious crap

Governor Mills Allows National Popular Vote Legislation to Become Law Without Her Signature

A bill that would have Maine pledge its Electoral College votes based on the national popular vote for president cleared the state House of Representatives on Tuesday by the narrowest of margins, 73-72.

Governor Janet Mills announced today that she will allow LD 1578, An Act to Adopt an Interstate Compact to Elect the President of the United States by National Popular Vote, to become law without her signature.

Under the legislation, Maine joins the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which would only take effect if the coalition secures pledges for at least 270 electoral votes – the threshold needed to elect a president. Sixteen states and Washington, D.C. have joined the compact for a total of 205 electoral votes thus far. With Maine, the total of electoral votes increases to 209 – 61 short of the compact taking effect.

Republicans fiercely oppose it, describing the scheme as an end run around the U.S. Constitution.

Read about it...

Of course, this is just another devious Democrat ploy to abolish the Electoral College and a handful of states will control the election thus the winner.

Wikipedia: The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) is an agreement among a group of U.S. states and the District of Columbia to award all their electoral votes to whichever presidential ticket wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The compact is designed to ensure that the candidate who receives the most votes nationwide is elected president, and it would come into effect only when it would guarantee that outcome.

Introduced in 2006, as of April 2024 it has been adopted by seventeen states and the District of Columbia. These jurisdictions have 209 electoral votes, which is 39% of the Electoral College and 77% of the 270 votes needed to give the compact legal force.

Trump removed from Primary Ballot in Maine

This photo says it all

Maine's Leftist, hyper-partisan Biden-supporting Democrat Shenna Bellows, who wants her 15 minutes of fame, kicked Trump off ballot. At one time she was the head of the ALCU there for eight years. That says it all too! She lost her desire to be state Senator to Susan Collins in 2014 and then ran for Secretary of State. You wonder how these people get their jobs.

“I conclude that Mr. Trump's primary petition is invalid,” Bellows wrote in her decision. “Specifically, I find that the declaration on his candidate consent form is false because he is not qualified to hold the office of the President under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

She says she has sworn to uphold the Constitution!

The Supreme Court of the United States will decide.
