California Healthcare Fraud

Healthcare fraud in CA goes way beyond Hospice

With the recent revelations about massive hospice fraud in California, it increasingly looks as though the whole corrupt state of California needs to be on hospice care.

It would be nice to think that (cue Gatlin Brothers) “all the fraud…in California…is in a bank in the middle of Beverly Hills, and so easy to reclaim.”

But over the years, billions and billions have been pilfered and spent long ago by Democrat Party chiselers who grifted it from the taxpayers, who can barely afford to even live in California themselves.

The top state prosecutor in California, Rob Bonta, a Democrat (of course), is trumpeting his prosecution of 14 fraudulent hospice companies --- 21 individual suspects --- for billing MediCal and Medicaid for $267 million in nonexistent services.

This reportedly came after they received a tip from the California Department of Healthcare Services.

Florida Attorney General Seeks Nurse’s License Revocation Over Vile TikTok Targeting Pregnant Karoline Leavitt

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier called for revoking a Boca Raton labor and delivery nurse’s license after a viral TikTok targeted White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

The call followed a video in which the nurse wished severe childbirth injuries on Leavitt, prompting termination by her employer in Florida.

The nurse was identified as Alexis “Lexie” Lawler in prior reports. The video showed Lawler using explicit language while speaking about Leavitt.

Lawler was fired from Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital after the video circulated. Baptist Health confirmed the termination.

Massive Medicaid fraud in Maine.

Gateway’s founder and CEO, Abdullahi Ali

House panel probes Somali health contractor fraud

Another potential government boondoggle is under the microscope as the House Oversight Committee digs into allegations of massive Medicaid fraud tied to a Somali-led health contractor in Maine.

The investigation centers on Gateway Community Financial Services, with possible links to similar schemes in Minnesota, prompting Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services to slam the brakes on Medicaid payments to the company after damning whistleblower claims and media exposure, as NewsNation reports.

The Oversight Committee was already sniffing around questionable Medicaid dealings among Somali contractors in Minnesota when their radar pinged on Gateway in Maine. NewsNation’s sharp reporting brought this mess into the spotlight.

The committee isn’t messing around, naming Gateway’s founder and CEO, Abdullahi Ali, as a person of interest in this unfolding drama. Maine State Rep. Deqa Dhalac, a Democrat and former assistant executive director at Gateway, also landed on the radar.

Even Maine’s Democrat Gov. Janet Mills has gone radio silent on the matter, dodging NewsNation’s calls for a statement. The Maine Department of Health and Human Services also clammed up when pressed for answers.

Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act

House Passes Miller-Meeks' Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act

Press Release
WASHINGTON — Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01), Speaker Johnson, Leader Scalise, Whip Emmer, and Conference Chairwoman McClain, released a joint statement after House Republicans passed the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act – legislation that lowers health care premiums, increases health care access, expands health care choices, and brings greater transparency to America’s health care system.

Every House Democrat voted against this legislation, HR-6703, which would lower premiums for all Americans by more than 11% and save taxpayers $30 billion in the process. Thomas Massie was the only Republican who voted "no."

“House Republicans are taking meaningful action to fix what Democrats broke. For too long, Democrats have forced hardworking American taxpayers to bail out big health insurance companies for hundreds of billions of dollars.

Meanwhile, Americans are left paying for increasingly expensive care with fewer choices, lower quality, and worse health outcomes. They broke America’s health care system and with today’s vote, Democrats have abandoned a critical opportunity to fix their own failed law.

“The Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act puts patients first. It does exactly what its title promises and more: lowers premium costs, expands access to affordable, quality care, gives every American more options and flexibility to choose coverage that is best for their needs, and brings greater transparency to the health care system.

It delivers twice the cost reduction of the Democrats’ temporary, COVID-era enhanced subsidies and brings those costs down for ALL Americans – not just some. House Republicans are working to fix what is broken, restore integrity in our nation’s health care system, and lower the cost of health care for every citizen.”

House Republicans pass Health Care Plan

House Republicans approve health care plan, reject ObamaCare aid extension

House Republicans have pushed through a bold health care package, aiming to steer policy away from the expiring ObamaCare subsidies with a distinctly conservative vision.

The legislation, passed Wednesday with a 216-211 vote, offers an alternative to extending the enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits set to lapse on Dec. 31, as reported by NewsNation.

The bill, named the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act, sailed through despite opposition from Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and all Democrats. It bundles popular GOP ideas like funding cost-sharing reductions, reforming pharmacy benefit managers, and expanding association health plans.

Democrats have seized on the subsidy debate, framing it as a critical affordability issue for ObamaCare enrollees facing rising premiums. Their push forced the GOP to craft this package, though it sidesteps the immediate crisis of expiring tax credits.

Rahm Emanuel on Obamacare

Rahm Emanuel Just Admitted Obamacare Was Built On One Massive Lie

Democrats spent 15 years defending Obamacare as the solution to America's health care crisis. They blamed Republicans, blamed doctors, blamed everyone except themselves when costs exploded.

But Rahm Emanuel just admitted Obamacare was built on one massive lie. Former Chicago Mayor and Barack Obama's White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel showed up on CNN to discuss President Trump's record on health care.

Emanuel told CNN host Dana Bash that health care has risen to the top of the political agenda heading into the 2026 midterms after Trump's historic government shutdown victory.

When she pushed Emanuel on whether Obamacare itself needs reform, he dropped a confession that sent shockwaves through the Democrat establishment.

"No. No, what you have to do is reform the health insurance companies," Emanuel stated. Wait. Reform the insurance companies? The same insurance companies Democrats spent 15 years protecting while blaming Republicans for Obamacare's failures?

The architect of Obama's signature legislative achievement just admitted the problem isn't the law Democrats rammed through Congress in 2010. It's the insurance companies they subsidized with hundreds of billions in taxpayer dollars.

High-Stakes Game of Chicken

Trump slams Democrats as shutdown deadlock enters third week

President Donald Trump is throwing verbal haymakers at Democrats as the government shutdown grinds into its third week with no resolution in sight.

The crux of this mess is a bitter standoff over a funding bill, where Democrats are holding firm on extending enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies set to lapse in 2025, while Trump and his team push back hard against what they see as wasteful spending, as Fox News reports.

This shutdown kicked off weeks ago when Democrats refused to budge on a funding bill without those healthcare subsidies included. Shutdown Stalemate Impacts Federal Workers.

As a result, hundreds of thousands of federal employees are caught in the crossfire, with their paychecks on hold while politicians bicker in Washington.

Average monthly premium: Between $381 and $507, depending on the plan type and provider.

Monthly premium variation: Costs are affected by the plan's "metal level" (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum), which determines the ratio of premium to out-of-pocket costs.

Other out-of-pocket costs: Plans also have deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance, which are paid before the plan begins to cover costs.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) costs the government hundreds of billions of dollars primarily through subsidies that lower health insurance premiums for individuals. For instance, extending the enhanced subsidies would cost the government approximately $350 billion over a decade.

Beyond subsidies, ACA-related spending also includes marketplace tax credits, which cost nearly $14 billion in fiscal year 2024.

Republicans argue that the ACA has driven up health insurance costs for many families, who are forced to pay higher premiums and deductibles for more comprehensive plans than they previously had.

California's Dangerous Trafficking bill AB-495

Prominent Christian pastor warns families they may need to grab children and FLEE California!

Democrats' plan would be a dream 'come true' for any 'human trafficker, pedophile, and kidnapper'

Despite California's far leftist agenda that involves major outreaches to restrict religious rights, eliminate the benefits of being a family, force the ideals of transgenderism on innocent young children, weaponize the government against conservatives and Christians, and more, there still remain families.

But that might be changing, after Jack Hibbs, the prominent American pastor, founder of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and host of "Real Life with Jack," warned them in a rally in Sacramento that a new bill being considered by majority Democrats would allow just about anyone to take control of children belonging to other families.

AB 495 would unintentionally give access to decisions about children’s education and healthcare to ill-intentioned adults without their parents’ knowledge.

Veterans Affairs extend Healthcare Services

VA gives veterans a year of uninterrupted private health care for 30 different medical specialties

Veterans will now be able to receive a year of uninterrupted specialty health care outside the Department of Veterans Affairs network without seeking re-authorization, the agency announced. Veterans previously had to get a new referral every three to six months.

Veterans previously had to obtain a new referral from their VA doctor every 90 to 180 days to continue receiving many specialty health services at “VA expense,” the agency said.

“This change means better continuity of care, which leads to better health outcomes,” VA Secretary Doug Collins said Monday. The policy change is effective immediately.

When veterans cannot get timely medical appointments at VA clinics or hospitals, they are referred to vendors, which are private doctors in the community.

Mamdani's Gender-Affirming Care Initiative

Zohran Mamdani proposes $65M for gender care in bid for NYC mayor

In a groundbreaking campaign announcement that's stirring intense debate across New York City's political landscape, socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani has unveiled a controversial healthcare initiative that's capturing national attention.

According to Breitbart, Mamdani's proposed $65 million budget allocation would fund gender-affirming care for both minors and adults, with $57 million specifically earmarked for public hospitals, community clinics, and healthcare centers.

The Democratic primary winner's comprehensive plan includes funding for various medical procedures, hormone treatments, and support services.

This initiative comes as a direct response to what Mamdani describes as the Trump administration's threats to eliminate federal support for gender-affirming care.

President Trump to cut drug prices

Trump to Sign Executive Order to Cut Drug Prices by Up to 80%

President Donald Trump said he plans to order a cut in US prescription drug costs by mandating that Americans pay no more than people in countries that have the lowest price.

Trump said in a social media post that he’ll sign the executive order at 9 a.m. Monday (today) in Washington.

While predicting that pharmaceutical prices could drop 30% to 80% in the US, Trump also said prices would likely “rise throughout the World in order to equalize and, for the first time in many years, bring FAIRNESS TO AMERICA!”

Cutting a deal with Big Pharma before Trump takes office

Congress is pushing a last-minute and massive health reform bill

This cuts a deal with pharma to raise drug costs for patients.

It would be a disaster for the country and for President Trump.

Specifically, Big Pharma is pressuring Congress to ram through a massive pharma bailout that will take more than $50 billion from taxpayers to give to pharma—right before Trump takes office. Big Pharma calls this bailout “delinking” – and it’s pharma’s tool to raise prices on patients.
  •  This bill will be a massive price hike for drugs that patients will blame on President Trump. That’s why pharma is working with Democrats to pass it.
Your premiums would immediately go up if this passes.
  •  This bill undermines President Trump’s commitment to take on Big Pharma – when pharma gets the windfall, Trump will be blamed.
  •  This bill was a top priority of Kamala Harris and Mark Cuban – she campaigned on it and would get a massive consolation prize despite losing. This is the last thing conservatives should do.
In November, Americans voted for President Trump because they think he’ll take on Big Pharma, but instead of that they’ll now see a massive Big Pharma windfall AND hiked health care costs, undoubtedly leaving Americans to think Trump didn’t keep his promise.

See why conservatives are sounding the alarm

Luigi charged with Murder

Suspect in CEO Killing Charged With Murder in NY

After UnitedHealthcare's CEO was gunned down on a New York sidewalk, police searched for the masked gunman with dogs, drones and scuba divers.

Officers used the city's muscular surveillance system. Investigators analyzed DNA samples, fingerprints and internet addresses. Police went door-to-door looking for witnesses.

When an arrest came five days later, those sprawling investigative efforts shared credit with an alert civilian's instincts. A Pennsylvania McDonald's customer noticed another patron who resembled the man in the oblique security-camera photos that New York police had publicized.

Luigi Nicholas Mangione, a 26-year-old Ivy League graduate from a prominent Maryland real estate family, was arrested Monday in the killing of Brian Thompson, who headed one of the United States' largest medical insurance companies.

RFK, Jr. on Gender-affirming care

Biden-Harris HHS is blathering about transvestism this week. Here's what RFK Jr. said he'll prioritize

Donald Trump nominated Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Thursday to serve as Health and Human Services secretary, reiterating his pledge to "Make America Healthy Again."

Within hours of the announcement, the Biden-Harris HHS under the current leadership of Xavier Becerra provided the incoming administration with a reminder of the herculean task of reform now set before Kennedy: a propaganda piece on social media signaling support both for medicalized transvestism and the notion that some men and women are "nonbinary."

Rather than waste time, money, and energy indulging the delusions of those suffering from body dysmorphia, Kennedy has signaled he will actually try to improve their health and the health of the nation at large.

A Kennedy-led HHS would help Trump make good on his vows to revoke the Biden-Harris administration's "cruel policies on so-called 'gender-affirming care'"; cease all programs promoting the concept of gender transition; and cut "any hospital or healthcare provider participating in the chemical or physical mutilation of minor youth" off of Medicaid and Medicare.

Now Democrats are trying to screw Veterans?

Democratic lawmaker lambastes omnibus bill as ‘harmful’ attempt to privatize veterans health care

An omnibus bill, H.R. 8371, to increase community services for disabled and aging veterans and their caretakers was attacked by the top Democrat on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee as a thinly veiled attempt to privatize health services and drain dollars from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

“House Republicans have hijacked a historically bipartisan, bicameral process for veterans’ packages, to push their main priority of privatizing VA health care,” Rep. Mark Takano, D-Calif., said about the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act.

Sponsored by Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz., a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, the bill has 21 Republican co-sponsors. No Democrats have signed onto the bill.

But Takano said the scope of the new legislation needs to be scaled back or it will lead to further erosion of support for traditional VA programs.

The bill has received support from veterans organizations, including the Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
