Top Democrats turning against Mamdani

Clinton and Obama veterans Kal Penn and Rahm Emanuel turn on NYC Mayor Mamdani over taxes and Israel

Two heavyweight Democratic strategists from the Clinton and Obama eras are publicly rebuking New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, one over a property-tax plan that could hit nearly a million homeowners, the other over the mayor's inflammatory rhetoric on Israel.

Mark Penn, the longtime pollster and adviser to President Bill Clinton, and Rahm Emanuel, Barack Obama's former White House chief of staff and a former mayor of Chicago, each went after Mamdani this week in pointed, separate broadsides that landed on social media and a podcast.

The criticisms cut across two of the self-described democratic socialist mayor's most controversial moves: a proposed pied-à-terre tax backed by a searchable public database of property owners, and Mamdani's past use of the phrase "from the river to the sea."

Fox News Digital reported that none of the three principals, Penn, Emanuel, or Mamdani's office, responded to requests for comment before publication.

The twin attacks matter because they come from inside the Democratic house. Penn and Emanuel are not Republican operatives. They are veteran party figures who helped elect two Democratic presidents.

When they publicly break with a sitting Democratic mayor, it signals that Mamdani's brand of progressive governance is alienating even the party's own establishment wing.

Rahm Emanuel on Obamacare

Rahm Emanuel Just Admitted Obamacare Was Built On One Massive Lie

Democrats spent 15 years defending Obamacare as the solution to America's health care crisis. They blamed Republicans, blamed doctors, blamed everyone except themselves when costs exploded.

But Rahm Emanuel just admitted Obamacare was built on one massive lie. Former Chicago Mayor and Barack Obama's White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel showed up on CNN to discuss President Trump's record on health care.

Emanuel told CNN host Dana Bash that health care has risen to the top of the political agenda heading into the 2026 midterms after Trump's historic government shutdown victory.

When she pushed Emanuel on whether Obamacare itself needs reform, he dropped a confession that sent shockwaves through the Democrat establishment.

"No. No, what you have to do is reform the health insurance companies," Emanuel stated. Wait. Reform the insurance companies? The same insurance companies Democrats spent 15 years protecting while blaming Republicans for Obamacare's failures?

The architect of Obama's signature legislative achievement just admitted the problem isn't the law Democrats rammed through Congress in 2010. It's the insurance companies they subsidized with hundreds of billions in taxpayer dollars.

Rahm Emanuel to get out of the heat

"Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced Tuesday that he won’t seek a third term in 2019.

Chicago, colloquially known as “Chiraq,” has been suffering from one of the worst outbreaks of gang violence in American history, stemming from an ill fated 1982 decision to ban handguns in the city.  This led to a strengthening of the criminal element of the city, while disarming those good Samaritans who would have kept the crooks in check."

As of September 4th, 2,069 people have been shot in Chicago this year.

It's against the law, Willie

Willie Wilson, the millionaire businessman and candidate for Chicago mayor, handed out cash to potential voters.

But, but, but...18 U.S. Code § 597 - Expenditures to influence voting

Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and
Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 721; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(1)(H), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2147; Pub. L. 104–294, title VI, § 601(a)(12), Oct. 11, 1996, 110 Stat. 3498.)

Read about Willie... and his slick, lame attempt to circumvent law. Willie said, “I think people try to make political hay out of it because they don’t got nothing else on me.”

One again, Willie Wilson is running against Rahm Emanuel in 2019.

He also ran for President of the United States in 2016. In the primaries, he only got 24,326 votes with half of them coming from our "favorite" state, the State of California.

"Chicago is a disaster, a total disaster"

llegal Guns are the Problem

Chicago has strict gun controls--Last year Chicago had the bloodiest year ever and 2017 will surpass that record.

It is clear that illegal guns in the hands of street gangs and drug dealers are the problem in Chicago, not legal gun owners. Guns brought into the city from out of state sell for top dollar on the street. This would indicate a problem with local government and courts. Addressing the uncontrolled gun violence rampant in his failing city, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel recently announced that 100 more police officers have been placed on the streets. Rahm baby says President Trump should show leadership instead of criticizing his city as a total disaster.

Chicago - Rahm Emanuel exposed

"Oh-oh! Rahm’s private emails are spilling the beans
By Thomas Lifson

A rock has been turned over in Chicago, and all kinds of revelations are scattering out.Bill Ruthhart and Hal Dardick report in the Chicago Tribune:

Mayor Rahm Emanuel's personal email accounts have served as a private avenue of influence where executives and investors sought favorable action from City Hall, raising questions about whether some of the messages crossed the line into lobbying and violated the city's ethics law, the Chicago Tribune has found.

Usually, such requests don't become public. But late last year, pressure from open records lawsuits resulted in Emanuel releasing a trove of emails in which he conducted public business on personal email. The messages offer a rare look at how the mayor operates out of the public spotlight and reveal who has his ear."

What the Hell is wrong with Chicago?

Other than progressives, we all get it.  There is something perverse and evil going on in Chicago.  Crime is out of control under its mayor, Rahm Emanuel, Obama's former Chief of Staff. The city is divided by race and class although Blacks comprise two-thirds of its population. Chicago's donor class, however, is predominately White giving 90% of the campaign donations. This is Obama's home town. This is a Sanctuary City where every low life is welcomed. They vote for Democrats.

Chicago was responsible for nearly half of 2016's increase in homicides in the US. By 2016, gun controlled Chicago had recorded more homicides and shooting victims than New York City and Los Angeles combined with nearly 800 homicides.

Now we have this perverted, brutal and heinous criminal act committed by people now  in custody showing a man who was kidnapped with “mental health challenges” being tied up, beaten and tortured. After the video hit Facebook, the criminals dumped him on a city street. He was dazed and confused and needed medical help. Chicago has yet to charge these criminals with a hate crime.

Feinstein and CIA Torture - Political Cartoons

Comment Up

“The president wants to know who the f**k authorized this release to the committees,” Panetta recalled then-White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel saying at a Situation Room meeting not long after the arrangement was made. “I have a president with his hair on fire, and I want to know what the f**k you did to f**k this up so bad!”

Rahm's brother

Dr. Emanuel blames the Hippocratic Oath for
 the "overuse" of medical care.

As a bioethicist, he has written extensively about who should get medical care, who should decide, and whose life is worth saving. Dr. Emanuel is part of a school of thought that redefines a physician’s duty, insisting that it includes working for the greater good of society instead of focusing only on a patient’s needs. Many physicians find that view dangerous, and most Americans are likely to agree.

Remember Sarah Palin talking about death panels and the liberals ridiculed her?  They're there! The Western Center for journalism reminds us  of when Obama told a daughter whose 104 year old mother was still enjoying life 5 years after getting a pacemaker that maybe Mama should have just taken a pain pill? Obama stated quite succinctly that it is just not worth spending money on the elderly.  Read about it.

Rahm Emanuel touts his "most American City"

Comment Up
I used to like this guy

“Chicago is the most American of American cities," Emanuel said in talk last week to political science students at Northwestern University. "It's not just any city. If you want to come and see America, you come to its heartland. And what is the capital of that heartland? Chicago."

While some 2,000 U.S. troops have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001, more than 5,000 people have been killed by gun fire in Chicago during that time, based on Department of Defense and FBI data.

Chicago is just not the real world or the real America. Neither is Rahm.

Read CNS News and learn that more than one person is murdered in Chicago every day.

Occupiers - Sticks and Stones

"Get Real"
as Dustin Zacks would say

These lunatics don't even know about what they are protesting. This NATO conference in Chicago was to approve a plan where security forces of Afghanistan will take the lead in defending their own country so that we can get out of there on schedule and less U.S. lives will be lost in the process.

A good majority of these people are Democrats and now they threaten not only Democrats, like Mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel, but our armed forces. They marched on Sunday and complained about everything. A few from Florida, a haven for every divisive group on Earth, were there and accused of making Molotov cocktails to use against Obama's headquarters and other targets in Chicago. Their main gripe: Economic inequality.

At least Afghan president Karzai thanked the U.S. for all the tons of money we have given them over the last ten years to help save their country from Islamic terrorists while protesters hurled sticks and stones and police tried to quiet the action and maintain sanity.
