The video is about the "Reaper" who is coming, presumably for Democrat spending and funding programs.

Already, the White House has cut various green ideology funding programs, and blocked other grants to leftist cities and states.

It's happening because government funding from Congress expired earlier this week.

Democrats, led by Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, demanded $1.5 trillion in lavish spending on illegal aliens, leftist propaganda and more, to support a GOP plan that simply continued most funding as it was.

Democrats drove the federal government into a shutdown at 12:01 am Wednesday after blocking a GOP spending bill, but at least one Democratic lawmaker says he won’t be giving up his paycheck.

Roughly 750,000 employees will be furloughed during the shutdown, according to the Congressional Budget Office. But Democrat Sen. Ruben Gallego of Arizona told NBC News that he won’t forgo his $174,000 congressional salary, which lawmakers continue to collect during shutdowns under Article I, Section 6 of the Constitution.

“I’m not wealthy and I have three kids. I would basically be missing, you know, mortgage payments, rent payments, child support,” Gallego told NBC News. “So it’s not feasible, not gonna happen.”

Congressional staffers are not paid during the funding lapse, though they will receive back pay once the government reopens.

Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought confirmed the move on a call with House Republicans Wednesday.

Vought said reductions in force, or “RIFs,” are “imminent.” He told lawmakers layoffs were “likely a day or two out.”

Senate Democrats have rejected the GOP funding plan twice in 24 hours. They blocked the measure before and after the shutdown began.

The Senate is not expected to vote again until today as they were off yesterday for Yom Kippur.

The coast from Boca Raton to Sebastian is under a high surf advisory due to hurricanes Imelda and Humberto in the Atlantic, bringing waves as high as 10 feet along South Florida's coast.

While the surfers are embracing the waves, the city is ensuring that safety is its top priority.

"For safety reasons, currently the pier is closed," said Stuart Sword, the director of leisure services in Lake Worth Beach.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Pier has been closed due to the high waves breaking on the far end.

ICE Miami, 287(g) partners arrest 400 criminal aliens during Central Florida operations

ICE Miami partnered with the Florida Highway Patrol, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Florida National Guard, and other 287(g) partners to arrest more than 400 illegal aliens who were living and working in the United States illegally during a weeklong operation Sept. 22 to Sept. 26.

The targeted enforcement focused on individuals subject to deportation or with outstanding criminal warrants. The detentions are part of what the state described as a broader push to crack down on illegal immigration and improve public safety in Central Florida.

Under Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida has led the rest of the nation for 287(g) partnerships with 327 agreements in place — a 577% increase since Jan. 20.

This operation is part of the Trump administration’s broader effort to restore public safety in communities across the nation by focusing on the removal of the “worst of the worst” offenders.

Florida officials on Tuesday approved the transfer of state-owned land in downtown Miami to serve as the site of the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library, clearing the way for the state’s first presidential library.

The 2.63-acre parcel, now used as a Miami Dade College parking lot, sits beside the historic Freedom Tower and was conveyed in a unanimous vote by the governor and Cabinet, acting as the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund.

Gov. Ron DeSantis called the project a “historic” opportunity to house the library in Trump’s home state, while Attorney General James Uthmeier, CFO Blaise Ingoglia, and Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson also voiced support.

Amid soaring costs and unfulfilled promises, the Obama Presidential Center project in Chicago has sparked fears that taxpayers could be left footing a massive bill.

The Obama Foundation, tasked with building the center in Jackson Park, has deposited just $1 million into a pledged $470 million reserve fund meant to shield taxpayers, while project costs have surged from $330 million to at least $850 million, raising concerns about financial accountability, as Fox News reports.

In 2018, the Obama Foundation secured a deal with the city of Chicago to build the Obama Presidential Center on 19.3 acres of public land in Jackson Park under a 99-year "use agreement" for just $10.

This arrangement granted the foundation control over the historic park site on the city’s South Side. The agreement included a commitment to establish a $470 million endowment to protect taxpayers from future financial burdens.

Only $1 million -- equivalent to 0.21% of the pledged amount -- had been deposited into the endowment fund. That figure has not increased since the groundbreaking in September 2021.

It's because Islamists had taken over the facility and were allowing no one else to use the tax-paid room. The Southern Baptist pastor, Tom Ascol, "was denied entry to a taxpayer-funded chapel during Muslim prayers."

The airport now is "under scrutiny" for the incident involving Ascol, who had traveled to the state to visit the grieving family of his close friend, Voddie Baugham, a widely respected pastor who died at 56 last week following a medical emergency.

"The incident has reignited concerns about the growing trend of Islamic dominance over shared public and religious spaces in Texas," the report said.

Ascol explained on social media he was awaiting a flight when he heard an airport announcement inviting passengers to a "prayer service" at the Meadows Chapel. The announcement said, "All are welcome."

Government Shuts down as Trump promsies massive lay-offs

Republicans ask for a simple, short-term spending extension while Democrats seek extensive changes in health care funding

Much of the federal government is now shut down after Republicans and Democrats in the Senate failed to agree on a pair of dueling funding bills to keep the government open.

Republicans voted to block a bill proposed by Democrats that included government funding through the end of October and an extension of federal healthcare subsidies for illegal aliens that are set to expire at the end of the year. The second bill was also defeated nearly along party lines.

Democrats refused to join Republicans to approve a short-term measure passed by the House that would keep the government funded at current levels through Nov. 21. Both measures needed 60 votes to pass.

Democrats have insisted that they will not vote for a spending measure unless Republicans agree to extend the subsidies for health insurance plans purchased through the Affordable Care Act. That did not happen.

Shortly after the failed votes, Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought instructed affected federal agencies to "execute their plans for an orderly shutdown."

Today, President Donald J. Trump announced the first agreement with a major pharmaceutical company, Pfizer, to bring American drug prices in line with the lowest paid by other developed nations (known as the most-favored-nation, or MFN, price). We were paying higher than any other country.

The agreement will provide every State Medicaid program in the country access to MFN drug prices on Pfizer products, resulting in many millions of dollars in savings and continuing President Trump’s historic efforts to strengthen the program for the most vulnerable.

The agreement requires Pfizer to repatriate increased foreign revenue on existing products that Pfizer realizes as a result of the President’s strong America First U.S. trade policies for the benefit of American patients.

The agreement requires Pfizer to offer medicines at a deep discount off the list price when selling directly to American patients. Trump negotiating with other pharmaceutical companies.

For years, California politicians have been racing ahead of the rest of the country with green mandates. They want to push everyone into electric cars, trucks, and buses—whether the technology is ready or not. They promise cleaner skies and bold leadership, but the people footing the bill are truckers, small businesses, and working families.

The cost of going electric is sky-high, and the infrastructure to make it work is still just a dream.

What we’re really seeing here is the difference between political fantasy and everyday reality. Politicians think they can force the market to change overnight. Court hearing held in case against suspect in assassination of Charlie Kirk

Judge schedules next appearance for October 30, when he said he expects Tyler Robinson to be present

"Utah County Chief Deputy Attorney Chad Grunander stated that he is still working on speaking to witnesses, given that thousands of people were in the crowd when the murder happened."

The report noted Robinson's defenders had the option of waiving a preliminary hearing, but did not do that.

"Lead defense attorney Kathryn Nester said that her team is seeking a preliminary hearing and is hoping to check in in 30 to 60 days to 'let the court know where we're at,'" the report said.

The judge is Tony Graf of Utah's Fourth District Court.

Robinson, 22, is charged with aggravated murder and other counts and could face the death penalty in the state if convicted.

Homeless in Washington State

Washington pays for homelessness, and pays and pays and pays

The State of Washington spent $5 billion on homelessness prevention programs over the last 12 years, but there has been little measurable impact so far. There are currently more homeless people in Washington than at any point since at least 2016.

Yet according to the state's biannual Snapshot of Homelessness reports, there are currently more people in need of housing than ever. Washington had 126,091 homeless people in January 2016, but 158,791 people in January 2025 — a 26% increase.

Washington's total population has only grown by 9% since 2016, meaning homelessness is outpacing population growth despite an unprecedented amount of spending designed to prevent that trend.

Washington will spend $1.8 billion on homeless services and housing in 2026 and 2027, or $900 million per year.

Oregon Sues Trump to Block Troop Deployments

The state of Oregon filed a lawsuit Sunday to block President Donald Trump’s plan to deploy 200 National Guard troops to Portland.

The suit was announced by Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield within hours of Gov. Tina Kotek receiving a memo from Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth, in which he authorized the troop deployment for 60 days.

According to the order seen by Fox News Digital, the federally controlled Oregon National Guard would be stationed in Portland to protect federal property "where protests are occurring or likely to occur."

Kotek, Portland Mayor Keith Wilson, and Rayfield, all Democrats, responded by jointly filing the challenge in federal court, arguing the administration’s move is "unlawful" and unnecessary.

The unhinged encounter happened around 2 p.m. Thursday when Patricia Schuh, 62, allegedly shined a bright light in Sara Kennedy’s face while yelling “Free Palestine!” and pro-LGBT screeds and began chasing her across the lobby, the sources said.

Kennedy — who is not related to her boss at HHS — “ran to the bathroom then a bathroom stall to avoid Patricia but she followed her into the stall and scratched her right eye, possibly with her phone or jewelry,” the sources said.

The stunned staffer was treated by Emergency Medical Services at the scene and refused hospital treatment.

Schuh, who was allegedly filming Kennedy on her phone as she chased her, was charged with assault and harassment, the sources said.

Another example of why Americans don’t trust the mainstream media anymore came to light this week.

On Tuesday – just a day before a gunman perpetrated a deadly attack seemingly targeting ICE officers in Dallas – NBC News published a story that accused Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents of holding a 5-year-old autistic girl outside her Massachusetts home to pressure her father into surrendering.

The network claimed Edwards Hip Mejia’s wife said her husband believed he was being followed, drove home, and that ICE agents then "grabbed" their daughter. Video footage from Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra showed the child sitting beside a law enforcement vehicle with several officers present outside the family’s Leominster, Massachusetts residence.

"They took my daughter, she’s 5 years old. She has autism spectrum," the mother can be heard saying in the video. "Give me my daughter back." NBC’s initial reporting suggested federal agents deliberately used the child to force her father’s cooperation. But there was a major problem with this story

DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin delivered a withering response that completely dismantled NBC’s narrative.

"Absolutely not. ICE agents NEVER used a 5-year-old girl as ‘bait’ – what a disgusting smear," McLaughlin posted on X. "The criminal illegal alien target – with previous arrests for domestic abuse and strangulation, among other charges – ABANDONED his own child in a car.

Friedrich Merz has changed the country’s position on the move, to which it had previously objected, over fears it could be illegal.

“We need maximum pressure on Putin to finally end his brutal war against Ukraine. The killing must come to an end. That is why it is right to make stronger use of the frozen Russian assets. Germany is ready to explore new paths that are legally possible and responsible,” Klingbeil said in a post on the Finance Ministry’s X account.

“We will continue to work intensively on this within the circle of G7 and EU finance ministers. We must further strengthen and secure for years Ukraine’s defense capabilities. And when it comes to reconstruction, Putin will have to pay for the destruction caused by his war.”

Until now, the EU has taken only interest generated from the Russian assets, which were frozen after Moscow invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

US Preps Strikes on Drug Targets Inside Venezuela

U.S. military officials are drawing up options to target drug traffickers inside Venezuela, and strikes within that country’s borders could potentially begin in a matter of weeks, four sources told NBC News.

Those sources are two U.S. officials familiar with the planning and two other sources familiar with the discussions. They spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the plans publicly.

Striking inside Venezuela would be another escalation in the Trump administration’s military campaign against alleged drug targets and its stance toward Venezuela’s government.

Strikes inside Venezuela could happen in the next several weeks, but the president has not approved anything yet, the four people said. Two of them and an additional official familiar with the discussions said that the United States’ recent military escalation is in part a result of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro not doing enough, in the administration’s view, to stop the flow of illegal drugs out of his country.

The plans being discussed primarily focus on drone strikes against drug trafficking groups’ members and leadership, as well as targeting drug labs, the four sources said.

Supreme Court Lets Trump Freeze $4B in Foreign Aid

The Supreme Court halted a lower court order that mandated the Trump administration to spend $4 billion in foreign aid, which it aimed to cut via a “pocket rescission.”

The high court’s Friday ruling marks the latest victory for the Trump administration on the Supreme Court’s emergency docket.

The unsigned order from the high court made clear that the ruling “should not be read as a final determination on the merits” of the case. Instead, the administration showed it was entitled to have the federal district court’s order halted at this point of litigation.

“The Government, at this early stage, has made a sufficient showing that the Impoundment Control Act precludes respondents’ suit, brought pursuant to the Administrative Procedure Act, to enforce the appropriations at issue here.

The Government has also made a sufficient showing that mandamus relief is unavailable to respondents. And, on the record before the Court, the asserted harms to the Executive’s conduct of foreign affairs appear to outweigh the potential harm faced by respondents,” the ruling said.

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court earlier this month to block U.S. District Judge Amir Ali’s order requiring $4 billion in Congressionally-approved foreign aid to be prepared to be spent pending litigation, after various groups that receive foreign aid sued to compel the administration to spend the funds it aimed to axe via a “pocket rescission.”

And then we get the stupid dissenting opinion--Justice Elena Kagan wrote a dissent to the order, which Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson joined. Kagan took aim at the majority’s decision to grant a stay, arguing the Trump administration had failed to show it would suffer irreparable harm by spending the foreign aid funds.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday declaring that his plan to sell TikTok's U.S. operations to U.S. and global investors will meet the requirements in a 2024 law that says the short video app will be banned unless its Chinese owners sell it.

Trump has delayed enforcement of the law until December 16 amid efforts to extract TikTok's U.S. assets from the global platform, line up American investors and win approval from the Chinese government.

The proposed divestiture resolves the national security concerns and complies with the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (Act) by removing TikTok in the United States from China’s control.

The divestiture puts the operation of the algorithm, code, and content moderation decisions under the control of the new joint venture.

The divestiture prohibits the storage of sensitive U.S. user data in a manner that would allow such data to be under the control of a foreign adversary. All U.S. user data will be stored in a trusted, secure, and purpose-built cloud environment in the United States run by Oracle.

The divestiture includes intense monitoring of software updates, the algorithm, and data flows, and it requires all recommendation models, including algorithms, that use U.S. user data to be retrained and monitored by America’s trusted security partners. This ensures U.S. content is free from improper manipulation.

Senate stalls on funding bills as shutdown looms

The Senate shot down both Republican and Democratic proposals to keep the government funded, leaving lawmakers just days before a shutdown deadline. Without a deal, federal agencies risk closures starting Oct. 1 when current funding expires.

According to the Washington Examiner, neither party’s version of a temporary funding measure cleared the 60-vote threshold on Friday. The failed votes set up a high-stakes standoff, with the Senate not scheduled to reconvene until Sept. 29, just two days before the deadline.

The Democratic proposal would have extended funding through Oct. 31 while locking in enhanced health insurance subsidies tied to the Affordable Care Act. The GOP version, which already passed the House earlier in the day, planned to fund the government until Nov. 21 but excluded the Democratic provisions, leading to rejection in the Senate.

Democrats insisted on permanent extensions of Obamacare subsidies, which expire at the end of the year.

FBI had 275 plainclothes agents embedded in Jan. 6 crowds, congressional source says

The FBI has acknowledged it had 275 plainclothes agents in the massive crowds on Jan. 6, 2021, more than four and a half years after questions were first raised about the level of FBI involvement that day, Blaze News has learned.

A senior congressional source said the number is not necessarily a surprise, since the FBI often embeds countersurveillance personnel at large events.

But given the FBI’s until-now steadfast refusal to disclose the level of its presence at the Capitol, the figure might still be viewed with skepticism in some quarters.

The news comes in the wake of claims by the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Inspector General that the FBI had no undercover personnel in the Jan. 6 crowds.

“We found no evidence in the materials we reviewed or the testimony we received showing or suggesting that the FBI had undercover employees in the various protest crowds, or at the Capitol, on January 6,” the DOJ OIG said in an 88-page report released in December 2024.

Depending how one reads “undercover” agents versus “plainclothes agents,” both statements could be true.

The same report disclosed that 26 FBI confidential human sources were in the Jan. 6 crowds, four of whom entered the Capitol. Undercover Metropolitan Police Department officers have acknowledged inciting the crowds by helping protesters climb over barriers, encouraging them to continue on to the Capitol, and applauding those committing vandalism.
