They Want ICE Agents Unmasked — Here’s Why

Sen. Eric Schmitt laid it out plain on Sean Hannity. He called the push to unmask ICE agents what it is. A coordinated effort to make enforcement officers visible targets.

Short version: don’t be fooled. This is about harassment, not oversight. The goal is to scare people off the job. Sound familiar? It should. We saw the same thing with the defund the police movement. Police left in droves. Now the same tactic is aimed at ICE.

• SCHMITT: “The only reason Democrats want to unmask ICE agents is they want facial recognition software to identify these ICE agents and harass their families, so nobody wants to be an ICE agent again.”
• SCHMITT: “We lived through this with the defund the police movement, where you saw a drop in people who wanted to be police officers.”
• SCHMITT: “We’re not doing that again.”
• SCHMITT: “We’re also not going to make it harder for them to do their job, with all the hurdles the Democrats want them to jump through.”

That’s the core claim. Make agents public. Use tech to ID them. Then use mob pressure. Harass families. Drive people away. It’s a blunt playbook. And Schmitt called it out by name.

Video of Home Depot Karens Harassing ICE Agents Arresting Suspected Illegal Aliens 

A video posted to Instagram Friday has gone viral that shows several liberal women harassing ICE and other federal agents arresting two suspected illegal aliens in the parking lot of a Home Depot in the southern California beach city of Encinitas.

The woman who posted the video to the account “@life_by_dani_” closed captioned the video and posted commentary.

The video shows her joined by two other women in confronting the agents: Swearing at them, demanding to see a warrant, accusing them of kidnapping, berating them for wearing masks and insulting them for being ICE agents.

They kept trying to get a phone number from one of the suspected illegal aliens so she could contact his family and was upset because the agents were too busy making an arrest to accommodate her demands.

Fields recently made public a harrowing account of ‘corrupt’ FBI agents arriving unannounced at her doorstep—not once, but twice—in a brazen attempt to intimidate and extract information about her confidential sources.

It began on October 17th when, according to Fields, FBI agents appeared at her doorstep while she was away. She recounts that the agents later contacted her, insisting on a private meeting at their local office to discuss her reporting—particularly stories related to war and the border. Fields, true to the ethos of journalistic integrity, refused.

While testifying before the House Judiciary Committee last Thursday, FTC Chair Lina Khan was grilled by Chairman Jim Jordan about the FTC’s investigations of Twitter since Elon Musk purchased the company last fall, the Daily Caller reported.

Jordan accused Khan of harassing the social media company on behalf of the Democrats, an accusation Khan denied.

In March, the Select Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released a report which found that since Musk took over the company, the FTC has issued over 350 requests for information from Twitter, including requesting information on the journalists working with Twitter in compiling the so-called “Twitter Files.”
