The White House on Sunday floated the name of music superstar Nicki Minaj as the next White House press secretary, after Katie Zacharia's departure after just five days on the job.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!" exclaimed Steven Cheung, assistant to the president and White House director of communications.

Aboard Air Force One, Cheung posted video of himself firing questions at Minaj, who is flying to Michigan to campaign with the president as Election Day is just nine days away. The popular rapper reposted the clip along with emojis of an American flag and a smiley face with a teardrop.
