Andy Amoroso needs our help - Fundraiser by Traci O'Connor

Support Andy Amoroso and The Tacky Tourist

Andy Amoroso, suffered a devastating stroke on Thursday night, June 16th, 2026, while alone in his Lake Worth Beach apartment

Unable to call for help for over 12 hours, Andy missed the critical "golden hour" for medical attention, which has left him with significant damage and limited movement on his left side. The hope is that with dedicated physical therapy, Andy can regain the use of his left side and work toward recovery.

Andy is a beloved figure in Lake Worth Beach, known for his generosity, humor, and commitment to the community. Over the past 30 years, he has owned several businesses and served as City Commissioner (Vice-Mayor) for more than a decade. His current business, "The Tacky Tourist," is a staple on Lake Ave., reflecting Andy’s fun-loving and whimsical spirit.

As a small business owner, Andy faces a unique challenge: if his store isn’t open, he isn’t earning income to cover his rent, mortgage, and bills. This makes his recovery even more difficult, as he needs support to manage his living expenses while focusing on healing.

Andy has always given so much of himself to others, whether through his work, his leadership, or his kindness. Now, in his time of need, Tracie and the family are asking for help from the community Andy has served so faithfully. Any support you can offer will go directly toward Andy’s living expenses and recovery, helping him get back on his feet and return to the community he loves.

Please join us in giving back to Andy and showing him the same care he has shown to so many.

Trump raises millions for Hurricane victims

Trump Raises Over $4 MILLION for Hurricane Victims

  • Former President Trump launched a GoFundMe for Hurricane Helene victims, exceeding $4 million
  • Funds aim to provide immediate emergency support, particularly to hard-hit areas
  • Efforts receive support from notable figures but are not without criticism--(always criticism from Democrats)
  • Federal and state governments also step in with disaster response measures
Former President Donald Trump spearheaded a GoFundMe campaign, which quickly raised over $4 million for Hurricane Helene victims.

Meanwhile, the Democrats have raised exactly…nothing. And Biden said FEMA can’t afford to do any more because they’ve run out of money after helping the illegals.

Yes, really.

Demetrius Cullar Hit and Run Victim

Every time I go to Publix downtown Lake Worth I ask about Demetrius who was hit by a car that left the scene. He was severely injured and now at home recovering. I was told it will take him another two months of recovery.

Demetrius says, it occurred in Lantana, FL on Sunday, September 4, 2022. "I was simply driving myself home and shockingly I was struck from behind and the suspect left me for dead! I was transported to the ICU section of a local Trauma Center. I'm in excruciating pain 24 hours a day and I've endured injuries in every part of my body from the top of my head to the sole of my feet."

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help this wonderful employee with his medical expenses.
