Defund the United Nations and Agenda 21

It's time to strike a death blow to the socialist den at the United Nations and their monstrous AGENDA 21. As you know, the U.N. has spent a lifetime tearing down America in the name of socialist World Government.

Agenda 21 is described as "sustainable government."  If the City of Lake Worth is not taxing you to death or catering to developers, it supports "sustainable" cities. Just mention the word "environment," and every liberal has an orgasm.

What is Agenda 21? It is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.

The United Nations New Urban Agenda - Hillary approves

Both Obama and Hillary Clinton approve of this Agenda. John Kerry is the co-chair of the U.S. Habitat III National Committee and attended the meeting in Ecuador where the United Nations cooked up a “New Urban Agenda” coming soon to a city near you.

Every time they talk about sustainable cities in Lake Worth, some of us cringe. This is the New World Order and it's amazing that we have two elected Republicans (Maxwell and Triolo) who go along with all this "sustainable" stuff. We are all being played by the socialists and open border people of the world.

"It was unveiled this week in Quito, Ecuador, at the so-called Habitat III conference. And part of the plan, enthusiastically embraced by Hillary Clinton, calls for unlimited migration across open borders. Migrants displaced by war, failing economies or other hardships will be seen as having “rights” in nations other than their own. Cities are seen as the key battlegrounds and the U.N. conference in Quito had a lot to say about how your city will be expected to embrace migrants of all types, from all regions of the world.

By now most Americans who follow world events are familiar with the U.N’s plan for global governance as envisioned by its '2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development', approved by some 190 world leaders including President Obama and Pope Francis in September 2015."

FL Sen John Legg and Common Core

Comment Up

Kids aren't learning as much today.  In fact, they are clueless about our Founding Fathers and all our wonderful history. Civics is not taught much.  Ever watch Watters World?  OMG. They are not taught anything prior to 1865 and our history is lost.  Reading, writing and arithmetic, forget about it.  Creative writing, what's that?

A Federal effort to seize control of education, Common Core, is nothing more than Agenda 21. It is nothing more than socialized education.

Katie McGiveron says, "When two and two don't equal four, I don't like Common Core."

Sen. John Legg, R-Lutz, wants to reduce standardized testing in Florida -- and he’s filed a bill in the Senate to make it happen. I remember when I was in school.  We had tests all of the time.  How else would a teacher know if we were learning anything? We had three hours of homework every night. Kids today don't even bring home a book...except for the really smart kids, one of whom is Katie McGiveron's daughter who is in the top 10 in her class at Forest Hill and just got a $2,000 a semester scholarship to the college of her choice. When talking to one of the seniors there about students in general, the statement made was "Boy are they dumb."

Last year, SB 1316 died in the Senate which essentially tried to prohibit the State Board of Education from continuing to implement the Common Core standards until certain requirements were met.

On Monday, Legg filed SB 616.  According to Sunshine News, this bill would offer flexibility to school districts that are struggling with the transition to Common Core which is socialized education. If passed, Legg’s bill would limit the amount of time a school district can administer standardized tests to its students. Under the bill, a district may not schedule more than 5 percent of total school hours to give tests. If the district requires more than 5 percent of school hours to administer the tests, it must get written consent from parents before giving the test.
Can you even imagine that--permission from parents for little Johnnie and Suzie to be subjected to more tests? Poor little kids...some parents have said their kids are under emotional stress from taking so many tests and have to take medication--that they no longer like going to school. Well why would they?  They are being tested to see if they are learning anything and don't want to be known as stupid.  It's no wonder they aren't passing but you wouldn't know that if you looked at the school grade stats.

"Obama bypassed Congress since he already had the stimulus He went straight to the governors with a bribe of $4.35 billion. The governors had to compete for the money - making it appear like a badge of honor if they won. They only had 2 months to sign on during a time when most State legislatures were not in session." The free market works when it's allowed to.  A few years ago Rick Scott said, the Federal government has no constitutional authority to unilaterally set academic standards for Florida, nor any authority to unilaterally direct local school board decisions on curriculum and instruction.

General Bill   by Legg
Education Accountability: Revising requirements for the administration of local assessments; revising the percentage thresholds for performance evaluation criteria for instructional personnel and school administrators; authorizing a school district to request approval from the state board to use student performance results on new statewide assessments for diagnostic and baseline purposes, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming a law

Quiet Zones - All Aboard Florida

Comment Up

Shannon Materio, West Palm Beach City Commissioner is all in favor of All Aboard Florida.  She was lobbying in Washington last week and thinks the millions it would take to have quiet zones on the FEC is a good use of taxpayer dollars. It is just one more thing that falls into the agenda.

Read about it... and see the video.

Government Grants and Sustainability

Comment Up
CSX tracks
It took six years for ROLOH to get a Quiet Zone for
the benefit of its neighborhood's quality of life

Per Tuesday night's agenda backup, the Palm Beach County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) finds that the preliminary quiet zone cost estimate for the work in the County is around $17.9M. The County MPO has dedicated $6.6M in funding; however, there is an $11.3M deficit that must be borne by local municipalities or another agenda.

The MPO is hoping that the other agency can be the US Department of Transportation via its Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) program. The Palm Beach County and Broward County MPO’s are preparing a joint application for TIGER funding to supplement local funds designated by the MPO’s for quiet zone implementation. The application window is very short and requires accelerated work. (Final applications through Grants.gov by April 28, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. EDT (the “Application Deadline”) The MPO has asked affected municipalities to approve a resolution of support for the TIGER funding and sending a letter to the US Department of Transportation supporting the installation of additional safety equipment for quiet zones.

As with previous rounds of TIGER, funds for the FY 2014 TIGER program (“TIGER FY 2014”) are to be awarded on a competitive basis for projects that will have a significant impact on the Nation, a metropolitan area, or a region. Lake Worth has All Aboard Florida on its mind.

All Aboard Florida on the FEC track is supported by planners and cities that subscribe to sustainable development and walkable life styles...Agenda 21. It is all about land grabs. Expected to begin offering service by early 2015, All Aboard Florida would be the first passenger service on the FEC tracks since 1968. William Waters, director of community sustainability for Lake Worth, said the "added mobility could encourage people to move into walkable cities such as Lake Worth...You could live in Lake Worth and work in Fort Lauderdale. You could hop on a train and be at work quickly.”

Utility companies, Smart Meters and Agenda 21

Comment Up

FPL submitted a plan to the Florida Public Service Commission. It was modified--Don't try and opt out-- people who don't allow smart meters on their property will be charged by FPL. They will charge you a $95 enrollment fee and you will also have to pay them a $13 monthly surcharge. See Channel 5 for report

What is Seven/50?

Comment Up

We heard Commissioner John Szerdi mention it.  And there are many people alarmed about it.  What is it?

From the Seven/50 web site: Seven50 (“seven counties, 50 years”) is a blueprint for growing a more prosperous, more desirable Southeast Florida during the next 50 years and beyond. The plan is being developed to help ensure a vibrant and resilient economy, and stewardship of the fragile ecosystem in what is quickly becoming one of the world’s most important mega-regions.

Spearheaded by the South Florida and Treasure Coast Regional Planning Councils (the Treasure Coast gets its  nose into everything in Lake Worth) and the Southeast Florida Regional Partnership (SFRP), a unique collaboration of more than 200 public, private, and civic stakeholders, Seven50 is mapping the strategy for the best-possible quality of life for the more than six million residents of Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.

The plan is being devised through a series of public summits, workshops, online outreach and high-impact studies led by the region’s top thinkers. Seven50 has been made possible by a grant from the US Department of Housing & Urban Development’s Sustainable Communities Initiative.  Click here for a comprehensive overview of Seven/50 from their web site.

We have heard Lake Worth resident, Suzanne Squire, talk about Seven/50 as well as Agenda 21.  Read her letter to the editor of the LW Herald this week's edition. What is Agenda 21?

In a nutshell, the plan calls for governments to take control of all land use and not leave any of the decision making in the hands of private property owners.  It is assumed that people are not good stewards of their land and the government will do a better job if they are in control.  Individual rights in general are to give way to the needs of communities as determined by the governing body.  - See more at: http://www.democratsagainstunagenda21.com/#sthash.36L50R7Z.dpuf

Agenda 21

Comment Up

I was thinking about Suzanne Squire--that I hadn't seen her lately--and then she commented on a blog here. She is passionate about Agenda 21 and it sure sounds scary. She, along with many informed people on this subject, believe that the UN is ruthlessly advancing a new plan that will make America a HOSTAGE to the United Nations among other things. Some feel that we are all being lead down the garden path when we talk about sustainable and walk-about cities.
It has been said that UN Agenda 21 could...
  • Wipe private property off the face of the earth.
  • Force you and your family to live in a multi-family energy efficient mega-complex.
  • Confiscate private farms and farmland.
  • Snatch away private landholdings.
  • Ban individual ownership of cars.
Here's how the UN describes it:
"Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level."

Constitution Committee

Comment Up
Suzanne Squire

For the most part, members of this group are strong believers in the United States Constitution. They have no other agenda. They remind me of certain bible sects that literally interpret "God's word" to their perspective. There is no other point of view that is acceptable.

Our Constitution gives certain rights to the people. It does not cover every eventuality and its meaning is challenged from time to time. When that happens, those disputes come before the judicial branch of our government. There is no black and white way to interpret many aspects of it and often times there are conflicting rights. The Supreme Court will then step in.

The Constitution Committee believes that the only way the Constitution should be interpreted is the way in which the "framers" intended, the most pure way. Times change and 200 years later our country has a whole new set of problems, a whole new set of circumstances. We have a diverse population today with over 300 million people from all over the world and it is less rural with less farm land than it was when this document was written. The entire lifestyle of this country has changed. We no longer have slave owners who wrote the Constitution. There is an entirely different set of standards today.

One question to ask is, does this document become old and stale in some ways through the eyes of all of us living in the 21st century. Should those in charge of interpreting the Constitution use modern realism? One thing for sure, when a situation arises, we all look to our Constitution, the greatest document ever written.

The Constitution Committee met last night at McKenna's Restaurant. They are located where the old Lenora's used to be. Suzanne Squire of Lake Worth, an expert on the Constitution, made an awesome presentation on Agenda 21 (See Wikipedia) which is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.

Suzanne showed how this entire Plan, that is being called sustainable development, is being used across America and even in Lake Worth, changing from a society of equal justice to one of social justice. Some of the current issues she cited were: smart growth development, leading children towards accepting global citizenship, laws being enacted that monitor individual activity, even microchips in our garbage cans, economies shifting from free enterprise to public/private partnerships, the League of Cities conference in Phoenix on global development (attended by Scott Maxwell) and even giving turtles on our beach consideration or a greater importance than the rights of human beings.

All in all, it was an evening to ponder. I left believing that there are many people among the group who are sincere and who have nothing more in mind than adhering to their strict interpretation of our Constitution with a small number of radicals sprinkled in. The last person who took the microphone to speak was very disconcerting. As I walked to my car, Ted Kaczynski came to mind. It was a weird thought.
