Russian Import Diesel Deal

Trump defends Russian diesel import deal as America First move for U.S. drivers

President Trump held firm on a deal to import Russian diesel and ease American fuel costs, brushing aside bipartisan Senate pushback and calling the move the right choice for the country.

President Donald Trump doubled down Monday on his plan to bring Russian diesel into the United States, framing the decision as a clear win for American drivers squeezed by high prices. In a morning social media post, he pointed to Europe’s own energy purchases from Moscow and declared he had put the country first.

“European Union paid Russia 250 Billion Dollars for Energy,” Trump wrote. “I made the right choice for the American People, ALWAYS, AMERICA FIRST!”

ABC News reported that the president announced the arrangement on Friday: an immediate shipment of 300,000 tons of Russian diesel, with millions more tons promised. The move comes as U.S. diesel and fuel prices have climbed on the world market, and Trump has made lowering those costs a priority.

The decision quickly drew fire from a small bipartisan group of senators and from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, a longtime Ukraine supporter, backed the president and cast the deal as practical relief for Americans who are hurting at the pump.

Let me get this straight: The U.S. is at war with Iran, Russia is reportedly providing Iran with military and intelligence support, and the U.S. is easing restrictions to allow purchases of Russian fuel.
Why are we generating revenue for a country that’s reportedly helping our adversary while our troops are in harm's way? How is this America First?

It's America first beause we are helping our tranporters to get their goods to market. On October 9, 2026, Trump announced that he had negotiated a "diesel deal" directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a long telephone call. The agreement temporarily relaxes U.S. energy sanctions against Moscow in an effort to curb soaring domestic fuel costs, which recently saw the U.S. national average for diesel peak at a record high of $6.53 per gallon.

At least Russia is not woke liberal left lunatic crazies and that's what we need to distance ourselves from because we can all see with zelinsky he's another woke liberal left lunatic insane person now!
