Michael Caruso was arrested today

Palm Beach County Clerk of Court Michael "Mike" Caruso was arrested and suspended from office on August 18, 2026, on criminal charges related to child sexual abuse.

Following the arrest, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued an official order suspending Caruso from his duties as Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller.

Arrest Details: The Arres--The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and local police agencies arrested Caruso early in the morning. Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier initially announced the arrest. State authorities have indicated that the criminal investigation is ongoing.

The Palm Beach County Clerk's Office released a statement confirming that services and daily operations will continue uninterrupted. Executive leadership plans to manage the staff of roughly 650 employees while awaiting next steps from the Governor’s office.

Governor DeSantis originally appointed Caruso to the clerk position in August 2025. His Legislative Career prior to his appointment, served as a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2018 to 2025.

2026 Election: Caruso is running uncontested in the Republican primary, meaning his name is not on the ballot, but he remains scheduled for the general.

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is behind bars after he was accused of inappropriately touching a teen girl in his care after she was caught having sex with her boyfriend at school.

The arrest affidavit against the suspect, Luis Reyes, continues that he also allegedly touched the victim's breast while she was on her menstrual cycle as a way to relieve her cramps.

According to an arrest affidavit from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO), the investigation into the incidents began in February after deputies received reports from the victim who said the suspect touched her inappropriately during her freshman and sophomore years of high school.

The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch and the Daily Caller News Foundation have requested the Delaware Supreme Court to reconsider their case seeking the release of Biden’s Senate records.

This comes after Special Counsel Robert Hur exposed that the University of Delaware had provided misleading information to the courts.

Despite this revelation, the University of Delaware remains adamant in its refusal to disclose Biden’s records. They have stated that the papers will not be made available until two years after Biden steps down from public office.

Biden doesn’t want his senate records unsealed because there would be evidence of a sexual assault complaint filed by Tara Reade in 1993.

Deputies: 3 Illegals arrested after woman sexually battered

Three undocumented immigrants from Guatemala are accused of forcing a woman into a vehicle and sexually battering her at two locations just west of Lake Worth Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

This abduction occurred at 1 a.m. Monday in a residential area in the 5000 block of Lake Osborne Drive, which is near John Prince Park, just west of Interstate 95.

"Thankfully, the victim was able to escape and flag down a passerby to help her," PBSO spokeswoman Teri Barbera said in a news release. Barbera said she didn't have the two locations of the assault.

Andres Felipe Morales, 29; Darinel Ordonez Jjimenez, 30, and Marcos Felipe Ramirez, 31, were arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail around 7 p.m. Monday. During their first appearance Tuesday, bond was set at $200,000 for each one with their next court date set for 10:30 a.m. April 10. [WFLX]

When doing a 2 mile search from City Hall, there are 72 offenders or 18 every quarter mile--unacceptable. Some of these people are committing crimes. One may be your next door neighbor.

Until we get rid of the dregs in our city and everything that has caused the slum, blight and crime, then the roads infrastructure and outlandish money grab needs to be ended. Spending nearly $10 million to develop private land for developers at the Park of Commerce on land we do NOT own and a huge monetarial investment that we will NEVER recapture in ad-valorem taxes, should fall to the bottom of the list of priorities or permanently taken off the "visionaries" list.

Which is the real predator?  The city or known sex offenders?...at least we know where some of the "sexy" guys live.  On the other hand, we have a city hall that is preying on all the property owners with its money-grab and we will never really know how this money will be used other than what they choose to tell us. The city is not good at managing anything, least of all other people's money. Using $50,000 of taxpayer money for its campaign to convince you to vote to get yourself in debt is bordering on a grey line of ethics. They know it.  We know it.
