Erika Kirk - Painful Dignity

Erika Kirk fought to keep cameras in the courtroom

making sure this proceeding stays public, stays transparent, and can't be buried

And at her husband, Charlie Kirk's memorial service, she stood up and forgave Tyler Robinson.

"My husband, Charlie, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life," she said through tears. "I forgive him because it was what Christ did. It is what Charlie would do."

Trump called for the death penalty. Erika Kirk forgave the man who made her a widow. Both responses make sense.

And this week, while she sits through photographs and autopsy reports and video of the moment her husband was shot, she'll do it with the same dignity she's shown from the beginning.
  • The Left celebrated Charlie Kirk's death on social media.
  • Bluesky users posted "do Trump next" within hours of the shooting.
  • Jimmy Kimmel cracked jokes about it on late-night television and got suspended.
  • An MSNBC contributor was fired for his comments – and then complained on Substack that the "Right Wing media mob" came after him.

Tyler Robinson playing Prosecutors as fools

Charlie Kirk’s Accused Killer Moves to Disqualify Entire Utah County Prosecution Over Alleged Conflict

When you’re caught red-handed in front of three thousand witnesses, sometimes the only play left is to attack the people trying to hold you accountable.

That’s exactly what’s unfolding in a Utah courtroom, where a man accused of one of the most brazen political assassinations in modern American history is now claiming the prosecutors are too compromised to seek justice.

Tyler Robinson stands accused of murdering Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, during a speaking event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. Kirk was shot in the neck and killed while addressing his “American Comeback Tour” audience.

The chaos that followed—crowds dropping to the ground, attendees praying and scrambling for exits—has been documented by countless eyewitnesses.

Robinson was charged with aggravated murder, and prosecutors moved swiftly to pursue the death penalty. The case against him appears overwhelming, with legal observers describing a mountain of evidence. Pre-trial proceedings have moved forward with appropriate urgency, including sealed filings and intense media scrutiny.

So what’s Robinson’s play now? His defense attorneys are asking a judge to remove the entire Utah County Attorney’s Office from the case; their argument centers on a senior prosecutor whose close family member happened to be among the 3,000 people present when Kirk was killed.

This family member was reportedly about 85 feet from Kirk, fled in panic, and left behind a backpack later photographed at the crime scene.

Tyler Robinson, Charlie Kirk Murder Hearing

“How Judge Graf handled the request to remove the cameras was a litmus test for his commitment to transparency, and he passed with flying colors.”

“Had he wanted to remove the cameras from the courtroom, he had a golden opportunity to do so by accepting the joint position of the State and the defense that doing so was necessary to protect Mr. Robinson’s right to a fair trial.

Stipulated requests are easy to grant and rarely rejected. But when it comes to transparency, Judge Graf recognized that the parties aren’t the only ones with interests in stake; the visibility of the case affects not only the viewing public, but the integrity of the institution.”

Tyler Robinson will appear in Court today

Court hearing held in case against suspect in assassination of Charlie Kirk

Judge schedules next appearance for October 30, when he said he expects Tyler Robinson to be present

"Utah County Chief Deputy Attorney Chad Grunander stated that he is still working on speaking to witnesses, given that thousands of people were in the crowd when the murder happened."

The report noted Robinson's defenders had the option of waiving a preliminary hearing, but did not do that.

"Lead defense attorney Kathryn Nester said that her team is seeking a preliminary hearing and is hoping to check in in 30 to 60 days to 'let the court know where we're at,'" the report said.

The judge is Tony Graf of Utah's Fourth District Court.

Robinson, 22, is charged with aggravated murder and other counts and could face the death penalty in the state if convicted.

Lance Twiggs

Tyler Robinson’s Trans Partner Flees Utah Townhouse

The transgender live-in boyfriend of Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin appears to have fled their cozy Utah townhouse, leaving mail piling up outside — as he faces mounting criticism for not turning the accused killer in after he confessed to the hateful slaying in a string of text messages.

Lance Twiggs, 22, who has reportedly been cooperating with authorities since his partner, Tyler Robinson, also 22, allegedly shot the Turning Point USA co-founder dead during a speaking event on Sept. 10, has disappeared, neighbors in St. George, Utah, told The Post Tuesday.

Mail was spotted piling up outside the $1,800-per-month townhouse the couple shared, as backlash from the public jeopardized his safety — and cops are still a presence in the quaint community even two weeks after Robinson was cuffed.

Washington County Sheriff Nate Brooksby previously said that Twiggs was in a “safe space very far away from St. George,” and needed “to lay low for a long time.”

He shared support for former President Joe Biden in 2022 and joked about being targeted by advertisements for different mental health disorders, including schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.

This report said they rented this townhouse at $1,800 a month and another said that the Twiggs family owned it. How did these guys support themselves?

UVU had lax security for Kirk Event

Utah Valley University basic security lapses ignored and could have saved Charlie Kirk’s life

One university showed how to protect Charlie Kirk – UVU ignored every lesson

Just two weeks before Kirk was gunned down in Utah, officials in Tulare County, California showed exactly how to secure a Charlie Kirk event.
  • They conducted three days of advance reconnaissance before his speech.
  • They mapped out potential threats and studied Kirk’s opposition in the area.
  • They deployed 60 law enforcement officers to monitor the 2,000-person event. They sent up a drone to secure surrounding rooftops – exactly where Kirk’s killer would later position himself.
"The very nature of Charlie Kirk coming in requires you take special attention to the nuances of what could possibly happen," Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux told the Associated Press. "He’s a high profile name and personality. Not only do we have to provide for the safety of people attending, we have to provide for the safety of him."

Meanwhile at UVU, administrators assigned exactly six campus police officers to Kirk’s event – about one-quarter of their available force. No drones. No rooftop surveillance. No advance reconnaissance of threats.

Tyler Robinson walked onto campus at 11:52 a.m., made his way to a rooftop position 142 yards away, and had a clear shot at Kirk with a bolt-action rifle.

Tyler Robinson age 19 in this video

New police bodycam footage just released of Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson.

The luxury car, leaking oil, was shown in the footage with its front hood smashed in.

"Just as I left the house, I put oil in it, just topped it off," he said, joking with the responding police officer. The video also showed Robinson's mother showing up with insurance documents in the wake of the crash.
We finally hear him speak.

What does his demeanor tell you?

Tyler Robinson's Leftist Ideology

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson ‘deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,’ Utah gov says

New York Post WASHINGTON — Tyler Robinson, the "alleged" murderer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” an investigation revealed according to Utah Gov. Spencer Cox.

Cox noted that Robinson’s political leanings had since become “very clear to us and to the investigators” in an interview with The Wall Street Journal — after Kirk was shot and killed at Utah Valley University.

At a recent family dinner, Robinson had mused over the conservative activist’s first stop of his American Comeback tour at the Orem campus, which was about a three hour drive from the alleged sniper’s home.

Tyler Robinson was actually a leftist who had "become more political in recent years" and leaned left, becoming "more pro-gay and trans-rights oriented," according to his own mother.

The now-alleged shooter — who is not registered with any political party — had discussed how he “didn’t like” Kirk or “the viewpoints he had,” with a relative who responded that the now-slain 31-year-old Turning Point USA leader was “full of hate and spreading hate,” according to Cox and an affidavit.

“They talked about why they didn’t like him and the viewpoints that he had,” the Republican governor added during a press conference Friday.

Moments before he was struck with a single bullet in the neck, the father of two young kids had been answering a question about mass shootings carried out by transgender people.

Evidence found at the scene of the fatal shooting provided a glimpse at a gunman with connections to left-leaning internet culture.

Kaitlan Collins has heated exchange with Senator Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz Accuses CNN of 'Misinformation' About Kirk Shooter

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, clashed with CNN host Kaitlan Collins (everyone in the world clashes with this woman) on Tuesday during a heated exchange over the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Cruz accused the network of spreading “misinformation” as Collins pushed back on his claims.

On her program The Source, Collins said, “We don’t have a motive yet. We don’t know yet. We’re waiting. Obviously, we’ve heard what the governor has had to say, what the FBI director had to say today.”

Cruz quickly fired back. “Of course we know. Come on, we don‘t have a motive yet? We don’t have a motive yet, really? That’s CNN’s position? He just happened to fire the gun in celebration. You can’t tell the motive here?” he said.

Tyler Robinson had strong interest in Transgenders - Motive?

Yes, Charlie Kirk’s killer had a transgender motive…

His trans boyfriend. It joins a growing list of transgender-related murders. Could this also be part of a greater trans domestic terror threat? As soon as the single shot that killed Charlie Kirk was fired, folks on the left and the right have been battling over whether the assassin might have some kind of transgender connection.

Based on the growing number of trans-related mass murders in the last two years, and Kirk’s strong faith-based Christian stand against the transgender movement, many on the right instinctively imagined a likely connection. The left, of course, claimed the right simply wanted the killer to be trans.

However, yet again, the right was correct. At least partially.

While there is no evidence that the suspected murderer, Tyler Robinson, was transgender himself, it is becoming increasingly clear that he had a strong interest in transgenders, as his roommate/boyfriend, Lance Twigg, was a young man transitioning to appear female.

Dan Bongino investigation

Dan Bongino to Newsmax: FBI Sees Wider Network in Kirk Assassination

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino told Newsmax on Monday that investigators have uncovered "significant developments" suggesting a broader network of people might have been involved in the assassination of conservative icon Charlie Kirk.

Bongino told "Rob Schmitt Tonight" the bureau is working to determine whether online chatter that surfaced around the time of Kirk's murder indicates foreknowledge of the plot. He cautioned that investigators are still sorting out a timeline.

"The only question is the timeline that other people knew about the incident," Bongino said. "Did they know before? Did they know afterward? … When you read some of the traffic, it's unclear if that message was received before or after."

Bongino confirmed much of the evidence came from the chat platform Discord, where suspected gunman Tyler Robinson, 22, was active.

"It is not a safe harbor to go on a platform and say, 'I can threaten to kill or harass someone,'" Bongino said. "We'll go anywhere to look for you if we believe you committed a crime."

Bongino stressed the investigation is in its early stages.

"This is not the end of the investigation," he said. "It's not even the end of the beginning. … We are investigating a potential broader network of people who may have known."

DNA Links Suspect to Kirk Assassination, Note Recovered

DNA evidence matching that of Charlie Kirk’s suspected killer was found at the crime scene, FBI Director Kash Patel said on Sept. 15.

Tyler Robinson, the suspect arrested for the Sept. 10 assassination of the conservative Christian influencer at Utah Valley University, also left a note expressing that he had an opportunity to kill Kirk, Patel said.

In a Sept. 15 interview with Fox News, Patel said, “I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody.”

Patel also referred to reports of an alleged note left behind by Robinson, saying that the suspect wrote that he had the “opportunity to take out” Kirk and wrote, “I’m going to take it.” That message was written before the Sept. 10 shooting, he said.

Patel said that it was both a “note” and a “text message exchange,“ adding that it was ”destroyed“ but that investigators recovered it. Other evidence in the case, Patel said, was ”shocking,” although he didn’t go into more detail.

Tyler Robinson taking The fifth

Charlie Kirk assassination suspect to be charged Tuesday

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” Sept. 14 that the man suspected of killing Charlie Kirk in the middle of an event Kirk spoke at on Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University has invoked his Fifth Amendment rights.

The suspect, Tyler Robinson, is 22. He is in a special housing unit at Utah County Jail until he is cleared by medical staff as he waits for formal charges, according to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, ABC4 — ABC’s affiliate in Salt Lake City — reported Sept. 14.

After medical staff clear Robinson, he will be placed in housing according to the charges he’s booked on, Sgt. Ray Ormond of Utah County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement, according to ABC4.

Those charges are aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm — causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice — capital/first-degree felony conduct, the article said.

According to Cox, Robinson has a boyfriend who is “transitioning from male to female,” and he has been “very cooperative with authorities,” unlike Robinson. Cox said they’ve learned Robinson’s boyfriend, who’s also his roommate, did not have any knowledge about Robinson’s plan and was shocked to find out that Robinson has been suspected of killing Kirk.

FBI has new evidence against Tyler Robinson

'He was going to do it because of his hatred.'

FBI Director Kash Patel announced newfound evidence that strengthens the case against Charlie Kirk's suspected assassin.

Patel confirmed that the FBI found and processed DNA evidence from the towel wrapped around the firearm found discarded in a wooded area near the Utah Valley University campus, as well as on a screwdriver found on the rooftop where the shooter is believed to have been. Both samples were identified as a positive match to the suspect in custody, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, according to Patel.

This development will be instrumental in building the case against Robinson, who is likely facing charges for aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, and felony discharge of a firearm.

"His family has collectively told investigators that he subscribed to left-wing ideology, and even more so in these last couple of years," Patel said.

Shooter lived with Transgender

Charlie Kirk’s Alleged Assassin Lived With Transgender Partner

The unnamed individual who we now learn is Lance Twiggs, is cooperating with the FBI in its investigation

Robinson is being held on suspicion of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily harm, and obstruction of justice.

His first court appearance is expected to be at 3 p.m. local time on Sept. 16, after Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Gray files charges—but that could change.

Ironically, immediately before the shooting, Kirk was taking questions for an audience member about mass shootings and gun violence.

“Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?” an audience member asked. Kirk responded: “Too many.”

A note from Bob Frantz: "The shooter who took Charlie Kirk's life, a demented 22-year-old named Tyler Robinson, was living in a romantic relationship with a male posing as a female. That is not to say he didn't have other motivations for killing Charlie Kirk, but it certainly spotlights how his personal support for transgenderism likely fed his rage against Charlie's consistent, biblically grounded stance that there are only two sexes, and that men can not actually become women. Charlie was always respectful of people arguing in favor of the trans movement, but he never shied away from truth, and this enraged many on the "trans left" who demanded that he, and we, always play along with the fantasies they themselves indulged in. The shooter's texts displayed a hatred for Charlie's defense of biological reality and family values, and portrayed Charlie as an enemy to the trans agenda. Trans violence is growing due to mental health crises and ideological radicalization. In 2023 alone, there were 35 trans-related homicides, and assaults tied to gender ideology have spiked as well. Charlie often spoke about the dangers of this movement, warning that the left's "gender-affirming care" push wasn't about love; it was about promoting confusion that manifested itself in violence with more and more frequency. Ultimately, it was proven last Wednesday."
