California positioned itself between parent and child and lost in Supreme Court

Supreme Court Blocks California Law That Hid Children's Gender Changes From Parents

The Supreme Court halted a California law that barred school districts from requiring staff to notify parents when their child changes gender identification at school.

The unsigned order also blocks a state rule that compelled teachers to use a student's preferred pronouns, reinstating a lower-court injunction while the case continues.

The majority found that the religious parents who brought the challenge hold "sincere religious beliefs about sex and gender" and "feel a religious obligation to raise their children in accordance with those beliefs." California's policies, the Court ruled, burden the free exercise of religion.

Governor Gavin Newsom signed the law in July 2024. Two sets of Catholic parents, represented by the Thomas More Society, fought it. The parents won.

California's Dangerous Trafficking bill AB-495

Prominent Christian pastor warns families they may need to grab children and FLEE California!

Democrats' plan would be a dream 'come true' for any 'human trafficker, pedophile, and kidnapper'

Despite California's far leftist agenda that involves major outreaches to restrict religious rights, eliminate the benefits of being a family, force the ideals of transgenderism on innocent young children, weaponize the government against conservatives and Christians, and more, there still remain families.

But that might be changing, after Jack Hibbs, the prominent American pastor, founder of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and host of "Real Life with Jack," warned them in a rally in Sacramento that a new bill being considered by majority Democrats would allow just about anyone to take control of children belonging to other families.

AB 495 would unintentionally give access to decisions about children’s education and healthcare to ill-intentioned adults without their parents’ knowledge.

Amendment 4, Vote No

Florida Court Rules Amendment 4 Financial Impact Statement Can Stand as Written

On July 25, the Florida First District Court of Appeals ruled that the financial impact statement dealing with Amendment 4 is appropriate and will stand as written.

In the state of Florida, all ballot initiatives must have a financial impact statement to properly inform voters of the cost to the state and the taxpayers. On June 10, Circuit judge John Cooper ruled that the outdated information in the financial impact statement “renders it inaccurate, ambiguous, misleading, unclear and confusing.”

The appeals court disagreed.

The financial impact statement reads as follows:
“The proposed amendment would result in significantly more abortions and fewer live births per year in Florida. The increase in abortions could be even greater if the amendment invalidates laws requiring parental consent before minors undergo abortions and those ensuring only licensed physicians perform abortions. There is also uncertainty about whether the amendment will require the state to subsidize abortions with public funds. Litigation to resolve those and other uncertainties will result in additional costs to the state government and state courts that will negatively impact the state budget. An increase in abortions may negatively affect the growth of state and local revenues over time. Because the fiscal impact of increased abortions on state and local revenues and costs cannot be estimated with precision, the total impact of the proposed amendment is indeterminate."
While we mostly agree with the statement, the following portion doesn’t go far enough: “(if) the amendment invalidates laws requiring parental consent before minors undergo abortions.”

Let me be clear, there is no “IF” about invalidating Parental Consent laws. They will absolutely be nullified and parents will not have the right to consent to their minor girl’s abortion. The only reason Parental Notification remains intact is because it’s in our constitution.

If amendment 4 were to pass, we would have abortion through birth with no limitations, no parental consent, and no health care standards. The only portion of the amendment that is clear is when they state the following: “No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay or restrict abortion…” [FloridaRightToLife]

No Parental Rights in California School System

California Senate approves ban on requiring schools to notify parents of child’s pronoun change

Parents have no rights when it comes to their kids in California schools

School districts in California would be barred from requiring teachers to notify parents if their child asks to go by a new pronoun at school under a bill the state Legislature is weighing amid legal battles over the rights of parents and gender-nonconforming students.

The state Senate approved the proposal Thursday, which would ban school districts from passing or enforcing policies requiring school staff to disclose a student’s gender identity or sexual orientation to anyone else without the child’s permission, with some exceptions.

What was their goal? To protect students whose safety could be threatened if they live in unwelcoming households. Lawmakers approved the legislation along party lines after more than an hour of an emotional debate.

The bill now heads to the state Assembly, where it would need to pass in committees and on the floor before it can reach the desk of Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, whose administration has fought school boards over the notification policies. What a joke.

"Little Red Classrooms"

CCP Caught Secretly Funding America’s Public Schools

China is not only running the Biden family, it is also running our schools.

A new report has surfaced that massive funding in our K-12 schools is coming from China.

Parents Defending Education (PDE), a grassroots organization dedicated to fighting indoctrination in the classroom, was behind the new report.

And the problem is not just that they are infiltrating our schools, but there is an even larger concern of the schools they are infiltrating.

Many of these classrooms are operating in schools near major military bases.

The report traced almost $18 million in funding that was spent in 34 states and 143 school districts.

In other words, they are everywhere. [Fox]

Republicans overcame the Insanity

McCarthy Clobbers ‘Extreme’ Dems for Voting Against ‘Parents Bill of Rights’

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) sounded off about the “extreme” Democrat party on Friday after they unanimously voted against the Parents Bill of Rights Act.

The act would grant parents access to their kids’ school curriculum. It would require schools to notify parents if a faculty member discusses gender ideology with their child or encourages them to transition. The act only narrowly passed the House 213-208.

“We have such an extreme minority party that they couldn’t even denounce socialism,” McCarthy said after the vote, referencing a House resolution condemning socialism the Democrat party previously opposed. “Such an extreme minority part that thinks you should decriminalize carjacking and even some forms of murder. Such an extreme minority party, in the Democrats, that they think parents shouldn’t have a say in their kids’ education.”

Perhaps some sort of intervention needs to occur as Democrats need to be de-programmed from their insanity.

"Don't Say Gay" lawsuit dismissed

Federal Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Aimed at Blocking Florida Governor’s Parental Rights Law!

The law, referred to by Democrats as “Don’t Say Gay,” limits when students can be taught about gender identity and sexual orientation in K-3 classrooms.

The law has nothing to do with "don't say gay." But Democrats know this. They twist every narrative to suit their mixed up agenda.

In October, Florida students and their parents filed a lawsuit in an attempt to challenge the law, but it was thrown out on Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Allen Winsor due to insufficient facts and legal standing.

Conservatives are applauding the court’s decision, arguing that the law is necessary to protect children and ensure that parents have a say in their children’s education.

Parental Rights in Education law wins in Court

Federal Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Aimed at Blocking Florida Governor’s Parental Rights Law!

Conservatives across the state of Florida are celebrating a recent decision by a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit meant to block Republican Governor Ron DeSantis’ Parental Rights in Education law.

The law, commonly referred to as “Don’t Say Gay” by critics, limits when students can be taught about gender identity and sexual orientation in K-3 classrooms.

It's NOT a "Don't Say Gay" law, LGBTQ Activists!

LGBTQ Activists And Elected Dems Pour Out To Protest The NYC Appearance For Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis

A decently sized crowd of LGBTQ activists that was speckled with the elected Democrat New York officials rounded themselves up at Chelsea Piers in New York City in an attempt to try and protest the conference appearance of Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis this past Sunday.

These protestors sported banners and signs that shouted out for the boycotting of the area, seemingly angry about the recent signing by the governor of the Parental Rights in Education bill that blocks the instruction of topics such as gender identity and sexual orientation to children between the grades of kindergarten and 3rd grade.

Along with the protesting of DeSantis concerning the Parental Rights in Education law, quite a few made the argument that the governor should not be allowed to speak at any events during Pride Month. LOL

Disney and Governor Desantis go head to head on Parental rights Ledgislation

Governor DeSantis speaks out

“When you have companies that have made a fortune off being family-friendly and catering to families and young kids, they should understand that parents of young kids do not want this injected into their kid’s kindergarten classroom. …”

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in an epic video tirade against the organization, “If that’s the hill they’re (Disney) gonna die on, how do they possibly explain lining their pockets with their relationship from the Communist Party of China?”

Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill (HB) 1557, Parental Rights in Education, which reinforces parents’ fundamental rights to make decisions regarding the upbringing of their children.

The bill prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through 3rd grade and prohibits instruction that is not age appropriate for students and requires school districts to adopt procedures for notifying parents if there is a change in services from the school regarding a child’s mental, emotional or physical health or well-being.

The bill builds on the Parents’ Bill of Rights, which was signed into law in Florida last year, and is part of Governor DeSantis’ Year of the Parent focus on protecting parental rights in education.
