Kamala Harris dominates AOC in early 2028 Democratic primary polling

Three years before the next presidential election, Democrats are already polling their bench, and the results tell a familiar story about a party that lost the White House, lost the Senate, and lost House seats, yet keeps circling back to the same names that led them there.

A Lake Research Partners survey of 800 Democratic primary voters, conducted May 6, 11, tested a hypothetical 2028 presidential primary using ranked-choice voting scenarios.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris led a 13-candidate field with 25 percent support. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York finished fourth at 9 percent, a 16-point gap that widened further when the field narrowed.

In a five-candidate ranked-choice simulation, Harris held 30 percent. California Governor Gavin Newsom took 24 percent. Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg drew 22 percent. Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Mark Kelly tied for last at 12 percent each.

When elimination rounds played out, Harris beat Newsom in the final matchup, 52 percent to 48 percent. The poll carried a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

Funny how things change. Now, one of the most recognizable personalities in sports media is saying something that might make his ESPN colleagues choke on their lattes. And what he’s admitting should make every American who was gaslit about this crisis feel more than a little vindicated.

Stephen A. Smith is a man who has spent decades swimming in the mainstream media current just declared that President Trump was correct to secure the border. He also accused the Biden administration of flat-out lying to the American people about the mess they created.

"Look, here's what has Democrats squirming in their seats," Carville started. "The identity left — or you can call it woke, I hate the word woke for good reasons — it was so stupid and it was so unpopular and no one wanted to use that kind of language."

The 80-year-old strategist previously told The New York Times that Democrats became so obsessed with "identitarianism" they couldn't recover. "We could never wash off the stench of it," Carville explained.

Sen. Bernie Sanders clashed with Joe Rogan on Tuesday over political donations and Elon Musk’s massive financial backing of President Donald Trump.

During his appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Sanders blasted the Citizens United ruling, calling it “maybe the worst decision that the Supreme Court has ever made.” He argued that it gave billionaires too much power over elections.

“What it says is you’re a billionaire, you now have the constitutional right because your money is your freedom of expression,” Sanders said. “Elon Musk… he spent $270 million to elect Donald Trump. I think that’s absurd.”

Rogan pushed back, asking about the donations made to Kamala Harris. That should Sanders up quickly. He didn’t have much to say as a response ready but admitted, “a lot of money” had been spent on her campaign.

“They spent $1.5 billion just in the course of a couple months,” Rogan said.

Harris’ campaign raised $1.5 billion in just 15 weeks and ended $20 million in debt. Musk, meanwhile, dove into Trump’s campaign after endorsing him in the wake of the failed assassination attempt at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally.

Indeed, early voting numbers have shown trends that appear more favorable for Donald Trump than previous elections. That’s because Republicans finally accepted that this is the system – ridiculous as it may be – that they have to work with.

Republican turnout for early voting has been strong, suggesting either a higher level of engagement or a strategic shift in response to past election dynamics.

And that truly must be scary for Kamala Harris.

Trump sues CBS for $10 billion

Former President Donald Trump filed a $10 billion lawsuit Thursday against CBS

after the network appeared to manipulate a recent “60 Minutes” segment to allegedly favor his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris.

The lawsuit claims that CBS aired a curated version of Harris’s response to a critical question about the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, purposely omitting parts of her answer that cast doubt on the Biden administration’s stance on Israel’s military actions, according to the complaint filed in federal court in Texas.

Trump’s legal team argued that CBS engaged in “deliberate deception,” presenting an edited version of the interview that avoided what the lawsuit calls a “word salad” 🥗  of mixed messaging from Harris.

“To paper over Kamala’s ‘word salad’ weakness, CBS used its national platform on 60 Minutes to cross the line from the exercise of judgment in reporting to deceitful, deceptive manipulation of news,” the lawsuit reads.
