White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered a fiery response to a French politician’s absurd demand that the United States return the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and friendship between the two nations.

During a press briefing on Monday, Leavitt shut down the ridiculous claim made by Raphaël Glucksmann, a European Parliament member from France, who argued that America no longer upholds the values the statue represents.

Glucksmann, a leftist politician, accused the U.S. of siding with tyrants and suppressing scientific freedom, claiming that France should reclaim the iconic monument.

Leavitt’s response was nothing short of epic. “Absolutely not,” she declared, before delivering a sharp rebuke to Glucksmann. “My advice to that unnamed low-level French politician would be to remind them that it’s only because of the United States of America that the French are not speaking German right now,” she stated. “So, they should be very grateful to our great country.”

Her remarks were a clear reminder of the historical role the U.S. has played in defending France and Europe, particularly during World War II, when American forces liberated France from Nazi occupation.

The French politician’s comments are emblematic of a broader trend of anti-American sentiment among European elites, who often criticize the U.S. while simultaneously relying on American military and economic power to safeguard their own interests.

Dem Newbie Proposed Bill To Tear Down The Statue Of Liberty

Democrat Representative Maxwell Frost from Florida (gosh, that's embarrassing) recently made a shocking proposal that has been met with widespread ridicule and criticism. In an attempt to score political points against the GOP, Frost (who is 27) proposed a bill to remove the iconic Statue of Liberty if a new Republican-supported border security bill, H.R.2, were to pass.

In a video shared on social media, Frost can be seen mocking Republicans for their support of the Secure the Border Act. He claims that if they are going to demand a secure border, they might as well take down the Statue of Liberty, our largest symbol that welcomes immigrants to our country. His argument falls flat as he fails to understand the true purpose and symbolism of the statue.

The Statue of Liberty has nothing to do with our current border crisis and illegal immigration. It is a gift from France, commemorating their alliance with the United States during the American Revolution.

Its name, the “Immigrant’s Statue,” speaks to its historical role as a welcoming symbol for millions of immigrants who entered the country legally through Ellis Island. These immigrants came seeking the American dream and were met with the reassurance of Lady Liberty, a sign that they had arrived in the land of opportunity.

Letter from a Lake Worthian who doesn't love our country

Following is a Letter to the Editor from a Lake Worthian who is another liberal who has fallen foot, line and sinker to the Democrat bullet points. It's a shame that so many liberals don't like our country and so many have abandoned God and many of them live right here in our city. Everyone has equal justice in America.

By reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, every American promises to be true to the United States of America. What's so difficult about that? The freedom available will not be taken for granted and each American will remember the countless men, women and children who have given their lives through the centuries, so that they can live peacefully today.

As far as his statement on The Statute of Liberty, it is not actually inscribed on the Statue of Liberty but rather on a plaque. The only Statue of Liberty inscription can be found on the tablet in her left hand, which says JULY IV MDCCLXXVI (July 4, 1776), the day the United States adopted the Declaration of Independence.

Our country has always encouraged legal immigration and people who want to come here and love America, assimilate, learn English, say the Pledge and abide by our laws. That's not asking too much to live in the greatest country on Earth.

Pledge of Allegiance needs a rewrite

I am having a hard time reciting our Pledge of Allegiance because the words no longer relate to the America of 2019.

It would be a more relevant and honest pledge if we changed “One nation, indivisible, under God, with liberty and justice for all...”

To: “One nation, totally divided by race, color and religion, insulting God, without liberty and justice for all...”

This would be consistent with the suggested changes to the wording on the Statue of Liberty, also intended to reflect our present country.

I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called "Organizing for Action" (OFA).

OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president’s administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?

If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America!

Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to Organizing for Action.

OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.

OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows: "Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines. Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond."

OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA.

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, “The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House."

Sperry writes that, “The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC.

Think about how this works.. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests.

If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.

If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.

So, do your part. You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against. We are losing our country and we are so compliant. We are becoming a "PERFECT TARGET" for our enemy!

WND also says that the resettlement contractors are getting paid $2,000 a head and that they get to keep $500 of that.  It is mostly men being resettled.
