The Immoral Truth

162 Democrats Vote to Allow Illegal Aliens to Vote in D.C.’s Local Elections

Dozens of House Democrats — 162, to be exact — voted to allow illegal aliens to vote in Washington, DC’s, local elections.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) provided a list of the 162 Democrats who voted to allow this by opposing H.J.Res.24, or the “Disapproving the action of the District of Columbia Council in approving the Local Resident Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2022.”

The measure, introduced in the House January 31, 2023, would nullify the D.C. council’s Local Resident Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2022, which allows “non-citizens who meet residency and other requirements to vote in local elections in the district.” This includes illegal aliens.

Roll call vote disapproving the action

I have been skeptical about the reason why Democrats continue to defend illegal aliens even refusing to call them "illegal," but now I am 100% convinced this is why Democrats are allowing the invasion of our national sovereignty...for the Democrat vote.

It still has to go to the Senate which, as you know, is controlled by Democrats.

Republicans to stop the insanity in D.C. allowing illegals to vote

House GOP preps attack on DC plan to let illegal immigrants vote, reduce criminal penalties

GOP says allowing illegal immigrants to vote would worsen border crisis

You don't say?

House Republicans are setting up votes next week to shut down plans by the local Washington, D.C., government to allow illegal immigrants and other non-citizens to vote and reduce penalties for certain violent and non-violent crimes.

Congress has a unique authority under the District of Columbia Home Rule Act to reject laws passed by the D.C. Council, and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said Republicans will take advantage of that authority next week.

Washington, D.C City Council to allow Illegals to Vote

Bill Allowing Non-Citizens To Vote Pushes Through In Washington, D.C.

If it manages to make it to the Mayor’s desk and becomes law (which it will), would allow non-citizen residents in the District of Columbia to take part in the voting for local elections that include its mayor, school board members, and attorney general.

The residency requirement was only set at 30 days for non-citizens, an important detail that sparked the single opposing vote from Councilmember Mary Cheh.

The advancement of the bill takes place as Washington faces an ever-climbing number of migrants being moved into the area from Arizona and Texas.

Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott has relocated over 8,100 migrants to the nation’s capital as of this past week, as reported by a release from his office.

Read about it... There is something radically wrong with Democrats. Do any respect our country? Look for several lawsuits if Bowser signs this into law. It's no wonder we have so many problems in our country when the Capitol of our nation doesn't care that voters must be United States citizens.

Don Jr. Ridicules Liberals

Trump Jr Ridicules the ‘Braindead’ Left, When ‘Vax to Vote’ Starts Trending

Libs with a hilarious self-own trending #VaxToVote--

After years of crying about voter ID as a supposedly “racist” restriction on voting rights, the left is now un-ironically calling for vax cards to be required to vote…You know, an ACTUAL restriction on voting rights.

No one in their right mind believes that Voter ID is hampering people to vote or that it is "racist and no one in their right mind would go along with a Vax card to vote."

Lefties are going NUTS!

Lawsuit: Maryland County Is Letting Sixth Graders Vote For School Board

The lawsuit by PILF states in part--
Defendant Howard County Board of Education (‘Board’) is operating a system of election and governance that violates the Fourteenth and First Amendment by allowing children only attending public schools, but not religious schools, to vote for public officials; allocating political power improperly to minors; and diluting and causing a malapportionment of political power.
“The left’s next move is to infantilize voting. They want to lower the voting age to 16 and now in Maryland, they have sixth-graders voting. We have a voting age for a reason.”

Read about the Left's insanity to indoctrinate children and steal the vote.

Felons must complete their sentence before voting

Judges: Florida felons can't vote until they pay fines, fees

What a surprise for liberals as they were rejoicing when the lower court gave its opinion. They were counting on deadbeats to win the election for them.

Now the Appellate Court had its say and has upheld the position of governor Ron DeSantis.

Intent of Amendment 4 Upheld - for the Moment

Supreme Court Upholds Decision to Temporarily Block Thousands of Florida Felons From Voting

DeSantis signed a Republican-backed bill last year stipulating that, in addition to serving their time, felons would have to pay all unpaid fines and restitution before being eligible to vote.

Voter rights advocates immediately sued the governor and the state. Now the case will return to the appeals court, which is scheduled to hold a hearing Aug. 18, the same day as Florida's primary.

Atlanta Appellate Court stays lower court's ruling on restoration of felon voting rights

Al Sharpton: 'We Are Going to Turn on the Light in the Sunshine State'

If Al Sharpton wants felons to be able to vote in Florida, than I have a big problem with the entire idea and will have to study it further.

Originally I signed Jo-Ann Golden's petition one night down at the Cultural Plaza to restore the voting rights of convicted Florida felons. I was hesitant but the rationale for me was, if you've done your time than you're rights should be restored. It was a black and white decision for me. I didn't think it through enough.

Even though the ballot amendment made exceptions for murder and rape, it is a known fact that most criminals re-enter the prison system. For the most part, they do not get rehabilitated. There are consequences from committing crimes that violate the rights of others and one consequence should be the restoration of voting rights. Voting is a privilege that should not be taken lightly..

According to Sunshine State News, "We have an estimated 1.6 million convicted felons in Florida and we are one of a few states that do not automatically restore voting rights to felons who have completed their sentences. An estimated 600,000 felons could have their voting rights restored if voters approve the measure, which will appear on the November ballot as Amendment 4.

The ruling Wednesday from the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals handed Gov. Rick Scott and the other members of the Board of Executive Clemency a decisive victory by blocking a federal judge’s order that would have required the state to overhaul Florida’s process of restoring the right to vote to felons by yesterday."

Please try and get out this morning to vote before the heavy rains start. This is a right that we often take for granted. Millions in other countries are not as lucky as we. It defines our nation as a democracy.

Getting out the Vote in Alabama - By the Radical Left

You know that the Democratic vote is in jeopardy when a convicted felon working with money from a billionaire communist is working hard to get out the Democratic vote in Alabama.

(InfoWars) – Birmingham, ALABAMA — "An organization partnered with a George Soros-financed group and led by a radical leftist who is the half-brother of the infamous controversial Rev. Al Sharpton has been diligently working over the past few weeks to register convicted felons across Alabama.

The aim of the effort has been to get as many felons as possible on the roster before last Monday, the deadline to register in order to vote in Alabama’s Dec. 12 senate special election that pits Republican Roy Moore against Democratic challenger Doug Jones. The man spearheading the campaign has stated outright that his effort is meant to ensure a Democratic victory in Alabama."

Read the rest... of this unsavory business. I have never seen people work so hard to bring down America and its democracy. Pastor Kenneth Glasgow has been described as an “ex-con and recovering crackhead turned street preacher.”

Some people have no clue when it comes to their vote

The most precious right we have is the right to vote. Some people have no clue--and politicians target that percentage.  That is why there are so many outrageous lies thrown around. Take a look at the Republican debates--disgraceful. We saw it happen in Lake Worth. Voters didn't know what our Trio has done in the past--all they knew was anarchists were about to take over if the voters did not vote them back into office.

Comment Up

Jeff Clemens's bill, if approved by the Legislature, would go on the November 2016 ballot. The measure seeks to restore the voting rights of felons who have completed their sentences. People with restored rights also would be eligible to hold public office. Automatic restoration would not apply to felons convicted of sexual offenses or homicide.

SJR 192: Rights to Vote and Hold Office JOINT RESOLUTION by Clemens
Rights to Vote and Hold Office; Proposing an amendment to the State Constitution to automatically restore the rights to vote and hold office of certain convicted felons, etc.

And we thought we had bullies running things in Lake Worth...The New York State Democratic Committee is bullying people into voting next week with intimidating letters warning that it can easily find out which slackers fail to cast a ballot next Tuesday.

Read about it... at the New York Post.

And I still worry about voter fraud.

Abuse of Power by the Lake Worth City Commission

Comment Up

Democracy means simply the bludgeoning of the people by the people for the people.
~Oscar Wilde

The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any.
~ Alice Walker

The difference between a democracy and a dictatorship is that in a democracy you vote first and take orders later; in a dictatorship you don't have to waste your time voting.

Petitioning

Comment Up

There has been a question regarding how long a PAC can be in effect as well as the signed petitions. When we were involved in Amendment 4, signatures were good for the particular petition for four years. Subsequently, it has changed. Here is the new wording on the State of Florida's site:
  1. How long is a petition good for?
  2. A political committee may continue for years and there is no time limit. However, a signature on a petition is good for only two years from the date signed.
Please go to the State of Florida Constitutional amendments index, as State Statutes prevail regardless what a municipality might have in its Charter regarding a referendum.  This page will give you all the answers you desire.

Respectful Planning PAC will continue to gather signatures of registered voters in Lake Worth until such time they have the desired number to put on the ballot. The people's right to vote on how their city should look should trump all else.
