FBI's Latest National Crackdown

FBI's Operation Spring Cleaning nets 1,139 arrests, 984 firearms, and 615 federal indictments in three-month surge

The FBI's latest nationwide crackdown on violent crime produced 1,139 arrests, seized nearly a thousand firearms, and generated 615 criminal indictments over three months, the Justice Department announced Monday.

FBI Director Kash Patel called Operation Spring Cleaning part of what he described as "the most prolific run of crime reduction in United States history."

The operation spanned cities from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, and Sacramento, targeting violent offenders, drug traffickers, armed felons, and fugitives the Justice Department said were spreading deadly drugs, driving gun violence, and pushing crime across district and state lines.

An FBI document reviewed by Fox News Digital detailed the scope: 1,474 joint operations, 586 search warrants, and 984 firearm seizures alongside the arrests and indictments.

Federal and local agencies worked the operation together, though the FBI has not disclosed which specific partner agencies were involved or how the results broke down city by city.

Trump demanding Big Pharma lower drug prices

President Trump takes action against Drug Companies

President Trump just sent a letter 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 the top drug companies in this nation lower drug prices or “we will deploy every tool in our arsenal to protect American families from continued abusive drug pricing practices.”

Karoline mentioned the drug companies have been asking for subsidies to lower prices but the admin refused. We pay 3 times what any other country pays and it’s time that changed.

He gave drugmakers 60 days to commit to four demands: extend “most-favored-nation” pricing to Medicaid, guarantee it for all new drugs, reinvest foreign profits into U.S. patients, and allow direct purchasing at those lower rates.

Trump said Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Medicare chief Dr. Mehmet Oz are ready to implement these measures and called for companies to engage with them “immediately in good faith.”

“If you refuse to step up, we’ll use every tool we have to stop this abuse,” Trump warned. “This is a vital national priority — and Americans need relief now.”

National Shutdown coming?

Trump considering 2-week nationwide shutdown to halt spread of COVID-19

"According to an unnamed source said to be “knowledgeable of the evolving plan,” every business other than grocery stores and pharmacies would be ordered closed, and the American people would be instructed to stay at home for a two-week period."

House Appropriations Committee decisions

So much for Republican promises of making decisions that put American workers first.

The House Appropriations Committee has voted to use taxpayers' dollars to pay the salaries of illegal aliens who the committee decided should be able to compete with Americans for federal jobs. With the work-force participation rate for American millennials remaining abysmally low, the chance of landing a job with the government would be made still more difficult by the Republican-led committee's decision to make them compete with the some 800,000 young-adult recipients of the unconstitutional executive DACA amnesty. [Numbers USA]

Also in the bill:

ObamaCare – The bill includes provisions to stop the IRS from implementing an individual insurance mandate on the American people. The bill also includes a provision prohibiting funds to pay for an abortion or the administrative expenses in connection with a multi-state qualified health plan, with certain exceptions.
Other Legislative Provisions – The legislation contains several policy provisions, including:

  • A prohibition against the use of funds for abortion in the Federal Employee Health Benefits program;
  • A prohibition on funding to require that entities applying for or conducting work under federal contracts disclose campaign contributions;
  • Two provisions related to Cuba: a prohibition on the importation of property confiscated by the Cuban Government, and a prohibition on funds to approve the licensing of a mark, trade name, or commercial name that was confiscated by the Cuban Government without express consent;
  • A prohibition on funding for Treasury to implement a policy limiting the U.S. position on multilateral development banks engaging with developing countries on coal-fired power generation when the policy would limit exports or reduce U.S. jobs.
  • Maintains the six-day mail delivery requirement for the Postal Service.
  • Prohibits funds for the implementation of the Executive Order Establishing a Federal Flood Risk Management Standard.
  • A prohibition related to the Federal Election Commission’s prior approval requirement for corporate trade member association PACs.

Protecting Freedom - In America and locally

Comment Up

Last year I was part of the minority who defended our history. The progressives rushed on the bandwagon and municipalities across the nation moved Confederate monuments and took down the flags that honored the Confederacy trying to make everyone believe that it was the politically correct thing to do--it was "racist" they told us. Retailers stopped carrying any remembrance of the Civil War and our history. People hated being tagged as a "racist" and gladly entered into the progressive BS.

I get so sick of the Southern Poverty Law Center labeling everyone as a racist who disagree with their communistic political philosophy. Even the group Israel United in Christ is on their hate group list. The SPLC's writings have even appeared in the Communist Party's USA's newspaper.

History in this country is so important, good, bad or indifferent. It is what has made us great. When all the Confederate symbols were being shelved last year and history re-written and forgotten, it reminded me of the big book burning done by Germany in World War II. We have people in our city who conveniently "forget" our history and re-write it all of the time.

This is a land of free expression and liberals need to remember that. Maybe we can beat their butts in November, preserve our history and make America Great Again. It certainly was squashed here in Lake Worth with a landslide election--bullies won based on fear and fantasy. Truth still matters. We just need to understand it...emotion vs. intellect.

Quote of the Day - Allen West

“There are no words to express the unimaginable sorrow our nation feels today for the families of those who lost their children and loved ones. It is only through faith and prayer that we can ever make sense of the senseless, and I pray these parents and families will eventually find comfort knowing their children will have the eternal love of God’s embrace.

As a nation we grieve for the loss of so many lives, and the loss of so much innocence. May God bless those souls who have come home to Him, and comfort those who feel their loss.”

It's Play Money.

At the end of September 2011, the Chinese owned $1148.3 billion dollars of U.S. treasury securities. They own the largest part of this country, more than any other country on the Globe. Click here for the Data blog.

“When you’re not rich, you have to go out and borrow money. We’re borrowing from the Chinese and others,” says Donald Trump.

“We are going up to $16 trillion [in debt] very soon, and it’s going to be a lot higher than that before Obama gets finished. When you have [debt] in the $21-$22 trillion [range], you are talking about a [credit] downgrade no matter how you cut it," he further stated.

Eagle being replaced as national symbol?

Comment Up
The government today announced that it is changing its symbol from an Eagle to a CONDOM, because it more accurately reflects the government's political stance...

Photobucket

A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of dicks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed!

Okay, let's hear it from all you liberals!

Watch Out First Amendment

The US House of Representatives voted 388-to-3 in favor of H.R. 347 late Monday, a bill which is being dubbed the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011. In the bill, Congress officially makes it illegal to trespass on the grounds of the White House, which, on the surface, seems not just harmless and necessary, but somewhat shocking that such a rule isn’t already on the books. The wording in the bill, however, extends to allow the government to go after much more than tourists that transverse the wrought iron White House fence.

Watch out all you Occupiers. Under the act, the government is also given the power to bring charges against Americans engaged in political protest anywhere in the country.

Our Educational System

Comment Up

You know we're in trouble when there are crazy courses being taught such as Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame at the University of South Carolina. What the course is about-- Students who take the course will focus on relevant elements of the societal context of Lady Gaga’s rise to fame, with students better able to engage in scholarly thinking about relevant aspects of popular culture, music, and fame.

Lake Worth High School has approximately 1,975 students, many of whom were born in other countries and that's one of the main reasons the school was on the intervene list just a few years ago. Staff worked very hard even giving tutoring lessons while working on Saturdays to help raise the scores of their students. They did. Parents need to take an active role in their children's education. Many do not.

Scotty Starnes asks this question on his blog:

NCLB shows that 82% of public schools are failing and does this look bad on the liberal-run educational system and their union bosses?

The facts about Unemployment Figures

Comment Up

Yesterday President Obama announced that the unemployment rate had fallen to 8.3.

"The truth is that unemployment is not really declining at all. The percentage of Americans that are working is not increasing. The civilian employment-population ratio dropped like a rock during 2008 and 2009 and it has held very steady since that time."

U.S. postal stamp up to 45 cents

I remember the 3 cent stamp and the penny postcard. It doesn't seem that long ago but it was back in 1932 when the 3 cent stamp for first-class 1 oz mail was sold. It had been virtually unchanged up until 1958 and the cost has been steadily increasing ever since.

More and more of us are doing our banking on-line. It is estimated that over 63 million of us use on-line banking and automatic bill paying.

On Sunday, the U.S. Postal Service increased the price. This rate increase means a billion dollars a year to the postal service but it has been reported that they lost $5 billion last year. It'll cost a penny more — a 45-cent stamp — to mail a letter starting Jan. 22, and mailing a postcard will go up three cents, to 32 cents. As more and more of us go digital, the 45 cent stamp won't be around for long.

Could the U.S. be Debt Free?

Comment Up
After I read this article I thought it interesting to post. America once thrived under a debt-free monetary system, and this article says that we can do it again. The truth is that the United States is a sovereign nation and it does not need to borrow money from anyone.

The Economic Collapse says:
"That is to say, under the old way any time we wish to add to the national wealth we are compelled to add to the national debt.

Now, that is what Henry Ford wanted to prevent. He thinks it is stupid, and so do I, that for the loan of $30,000,000 of their own money the people of the United States should be compelled to pay $66,000,000 — that is what it amounts to, with interest. People who will not turn a shovelful of dirt nor contribute a pound of material will collect more money from the United States than will the people who supply the material and do the work. That is the terrible thing about interest. In all our great bond issues the interest is always greater than the principal. All of the great public works cost more than twice the actual cost, on that account. Under the present system of doing business we simply add 120 to 150 per cent, to the stated cost.

But here is the point: If our nation can issue a dollar bond, it can issue a dollar bill. The element that makes the bond good makes the bill good."

What does the Finance Advisory Board think about this?

Read all about it at The Economic Collapse.

Another Bright Idea

Comment Up
Guess what? The government is phasing out standard lightbulbs. They say that the end of the standard incandescent will save consumers close to $6 billion a year on energy costs. Manufacturers are required to produce bulbs that are 30 percent more energy-efficient.

American Man says, Let me guess-we spend $4 for a lightbulb that used to cost 60 cents and we save money. Gotcha- thought it was just me, but I can ALWAYS count on the Department of Energy, (who buy their fuel from overseas), and the EPA, (we'll save the planet since God can't), to keep MY best interest at heart. It wouldn't have anything to do with taking away the basic freedoms of the American citizen to make a choice. Guess the next best thing is do away with voting and just stick to a dictator to save money.

Payroll Cut extended and Pipeline will accelerate

From The New York Times:
Senate Reaches Tentative Deal to Extend Payroll-Tax Cut by Two Months

Senate leaders said Friday night that they had reached a deal that would extend a payroll tax cut for two months. The agreement also would speed construction of an oil pipeline from Canada to the Gulf Coast — a provision necessary to win over Republicans who opposed the tax break.

News of the deal came as the 112th Congress lurched toward the end of its tumultuous first session. Earlier Friday the House finished off one of its last major pieces of business for the year with a 296-121 vote to approve a $1 trillion spending bill that would keep the government funded through Sept. 30, 2012. The Senate is set to approve it today.

Read more at The New York Times.

Big Oil cut a back-room deal with the dirtiest Members of Congress to attach this legislation to a must-pass tax cut bill. These kinds of deals exemplify the tyranny Big Oil exercises over our government, and underscores why the President needs to threaten a veto, so says TarSandsAction.org.

Basically I am against both of these actions. People working need to pay the 6.2% into FICA. To continue to deplenish Social Security is ridiculous. The government needs to look at long term results, not short term. As far as the Tar Sands, see my blog on that subject.
