Diplomatic Protocol at Pope Francis' Funeral

Joe Biden Needs Support at Pope Francis's Funeral

In an emotive setting at Pope Francis's funeral, Former President Joe Biden, aged 82, was visibly in need of assistance.

According to the Daily Mail, former President Joe Biden required support while navigating steps at the Vatican's Saint Peter's Square during Pope Francis's funeral.

As world leaders gathered to pay their respects, Former President Joe Biden clung to his wife, Jill Biden, and a priest to steady himself. The event, held at the sprawling surroundings of Saint Peter's Square, became a poignant moment for the attendees.

Biden, with aviator sunglasses shielding his eyes, maintained a dignified appearance in a black suit, though he found himself seated rows behind other notable leaders.

Contrastingly, President Donald Trump was also in attendance, drawing significant media attention. Trump secured a front-row position, enhancing his visibility at the prestigious gathering.

Pope Francis interferes in our border Policy again

Pope pens surprise letter to US bishops criticizing Trump’s immigration initiatives

In an unexpected letter to US bishops dated Feb. 10, Pope Francis expressed concern over the Trump administration’s deportation initiatives and their impact on vulnerable populations and appeared to criticize Vice President JD Vance’s interpretation of ordo amoris.

“I have followed closely the major crisis that is taking place in the United States with the initiation of a program of mass deportations,” the Pope told the bishops in the letter. “The rightly formed conscience cannot fail to make a critical judgment and express its disagreement with any measure that tacitly or explicitly identifies the illegal status of some migrants with criminality.”

According to Bishop Michael F. Burbidge of Arlington, Virginia, all US bishops are in agreement that the country has the right and the responsibility “to promote public order, safety, and security through well-regulated borders and just limits on immigration."

White House Border Czar of the Trump Administration Tom Homan responded to Pope Francis’ criticism, saying that as a lifelong Catholic, he wished the Pope would “concentrate on his work” of fixing the Church.

“He wants to attack us [for] securing our border?” Homan said to reporters outside the White House. “He has a wall around the Vatican, does he not? So he has a wall to protect his people and himself, but we can’t have a wall around the United States?”

Humanitarian Crisis at Border

Stop and Listen

Rarely does a political leader say something that makes me stop and listen, unless, of course, it's Donald Trump.

Senator Katie Britt, R-AL, did just that.

For Catholics, the issue of immigration has long been a source of frustration and division. Donald Trump was repeatedly shamed as “racist” and “evil” by Democrats, socialists and Communists for wanting to enforce our border laws and end illegal immigration.

Many priests, bishops, and even the Pope, who without any doubt in my mind is the worst Pope ever, publicly ripped Trump for wanting to “build the wall” and step up enforcement against cartels and those exploiting our laws.

Today the humanitarian cost of illegal immigration makes Trump look like a saint. [catholicvote.org]

Pope vs Biden on Abortion

Pope vs. President on Abortion

President Biden and Nancy Pelosi, both self-professed Roman Catholics, wish to see the Roe v. Wade decision of the Supreme Court upheld and abortion access protected according to their pro-choice views.

Pope Francis and the Catholic Church are pro-life. Having always understood abortion as a violation of the human right to life, the Vatican wishes to see Roe v. Wade overturned.

But the church is allowing Biden to take communion!

Pope Francis wants One World Government

The Communist Pope!

"Pope Francis has declared that the elite need to usher in a 'global reset' and has warned the the world will not go back to normal following the pandemic.

The Pontiff slammed the pre-COVID world, which he said was plagued with capitalistic oppression, corruption, and war."

The leader of the world's 1.2 billion Catholics has called capitalism a source of inequality at best and at worst a killer.

The Pope and The Donald

Comment Up

ABOARD THE PAPAL PLANE (AP) — Pope Francis said Thursday that Donald Trump is "not Christian" if he wants to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border. Trump immediately fired back, saying it is disgraceful for a religious leader to question a person's faith.

I agree with Trump on this one.

Pope Francis and Obama worlds apart on Christian Doctrine

Gee, we wonder why...

On religious liberty, however, Pope Francis‘ words — delivered in English — amounted to a mild lecture to the president and put in perspective how the pontiff and the president, despite their many areas of agreement, still seem worlds apart on major issues of church doctrine.

New York Times says--
  • Today is a two-city day for Pope Francis. This morning he addresses a joint meeting of Congress — he is the first pope to do so — and has lunch with Washington’s homeless.
  • Then it’s off to New York to attend evening vespers at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

The way I see it, radical Muslims all over the world need to be deadly afraid after viewing the reception that Pope Francis has had in the United States, their biggest enemy.

10:58--just listened to the Pope's speech.  There was something for each political Party to agree with and other things to think about.  It was respectful and controversial subjects were spoken with delicate resolve that only a Pope could do. I do not agree with him on everything and disagree with him on immigration or even his suggestion of open borders. We are a land of laws. I am rather astounded that there are some who are treating him as if he was God him/herself.
