Celebrities speak to Cancel Culture

Sean Penn And Conan O’Brien Blast ‘Soviet’ Cancel Culture

Although CRT is absolutely 100% stupid and anti-American, it's affecting the careers of Hollywood types and their ability to make money!

I'm not too sure if Hollywood influences anything these days. No one is paying to see their movies as Covid knocked down their revenue in the global market by 71.5%.

I always went to the movies weekly until the theaters shut down because of Covid. And the last time I checker, Cinemark still is not showing any morning features.

Read about it...

Last Full Measure trailer

I went to see this yesterday...my era and a great movie. Take a few tissues.  It's a tear jerker and based on facts.

President Trump would like us not to engage in wars that don't threaten our national security. He takes action when needed like Soleimani. But he is very much aware that "tens of thousands of U.S. troops stationed in Japan, South Korea, the Middle East and Europe act, with local forces in each region, are a buffer against a growing Chinese militarism in the South China Sea, a nuclear-armed dictator threatening from North Korea, Iranian menacing in the Persian Gulf and Russian military aggression along NATO's eastern flank in Europe." Our troops need to be there.

Sometimes I wonder if Jane Fonda wasn't actually on the mark regarding the Vietnam War. I think what people objected to was her method of protest. She never should have gone to North Vietnam and sucked up to the enemy. That was a slap on the face to every one of our troops serving and being killed there--heroes all.

The United States was all about eradicating communism (we were all paranoid about it) at any cost and then Fonda came on the scene pointing out the atrocities and asking what we were doing in Vietnam as our men were being slaughtered. The negativity and even hatred attributed to her lingers to this day. Even she says she regrets it but she totally believed that she, along with every other American, was lied to by the American government.

While the US, an invading force of brave heroic men suffered more than 58,000 dead in the war, an estimated two million Vietnamese civilians were killed, another 5.3 million injured in a war that we lost because we were not committed enough to win.

May we never forget these brave soldiers and the terrible cost of war. We've been in Afghanistan for 19 years. 2,400 of our brave troops have died with 20,000 maimed or injured...will this ever end?

Home Alone 2

This is the clip that the Canadian Broadcasting company edited out of Home alone 2, Lost in New York--the CBC said the scene was "cut for time" although it was only 7 seconds.

Angel Has Fallen

I saw this yesterday...excellent action film with oodles of intrigue. I was especially amused at the name of the president played by Morgan Freeman. It also points out that you can't trust everyone in your administration or realm of friends...sort of like what president Trump has had to deal with.

The leads were all terrific: Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman and Nick Nolte.

Our Major Hollywood Enemy Revealed

Hollywood's new brutal partner censors what you see

It's been just over 20 years since thousands of civilians -- students and workers, primarily -- were massacred by their own government in Beijing's Tiananmen Square.

And still no blockbuster movie has told the gripping story of its victims and survivors or named its villains.

Ever wonder why Hollywood won't touch a story with so many dramatic elements?

It turns out the gays, feminists and the virtue-signaling social-justice activists aren't the only ones censoring what comes to the big screen.

WND has followed the money to reveal Hollywood's shocking new ally.

Vice -The Trailer

Just saw this movie--

According to Roger Ebert, "The film lacks insight, ingenuity, and intensity, skimming the surface of history like a drunk guy at a holiday party who read a Wikipedia entry that he really wants to talk to you about right now."

Liberals will love this movie starring Christopher Bale who just won a Golden Globe.

Gosnell

The makers of a pro-life movie that is making waves at the box office say Facebook has blocked ads that promote the movie.

It's getting commonplace now for Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc. to silence conservatives and pro-life people.

Facebook generally allows users of an official page to pay for posts to be “boosted” or “promoted.” However, Facebook didn’t allow the filmmakers to promote their posts.[WJ Politics]

A Star is Born trailer

This was the best movie I have seen all year. LOVED, LOVED LOVED IT. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were sensational and should be nominated for Academy Awards.

Beirut - The Trailer

I saw this movie yesterday. It got a mediocre review in TGIF but I like espionage thrillers. This took place during the Lebanese Civil War. The color seemed to be washed out. The star Jon Hamm is a hunk, no stupid love scenes and the action is great.

Death Wish (2018)

My kind of movie where the bad guys all pay the ultimate price--Bruce Willis stars with --haven't seen her in anything for quite some time. And for a little bit of trivia, Elisabeth went to my high school in New Jersey. Also, was in it...great actor too.

Death Wish

The movie, starring Bruce Willis, is a remake from the popular 1974 version of the film, starring Charles Bronson and will be in theaters on November 22. I like the idea of "getting the bad guys." Some politically correct liberals are condemning it...old white Alt Right guy with a gun or something.

American Made, the Trailer

Want to see a good movie?  This is it!  And it's also my generation when a lot was in the news on drug cartels, Medellín Cartel, Pablo Escobar, drug trafficking, money laundering, (there were a lot of Florida banks involved in this) the DEA, Ollie North, and Iran Contra and Barry Seal. (Funding the Contras by our government was prohibited by Congress)

Liberals are the Racists

"One of the strangest things liberals do is constantly accuse Republicans of being racist when the Democrats are without a doubt the most racist people you will come across.

They are obsessed with race. It’s all they think about. Instead of viewing everyone as an American all they see is white guy, black woman, Hispanic child, etc."

Read about it... and a filmmaker charging white males more because of his warped beliefs on "privilege." I can only hope that white guys will not see his movie.  As a frequent movie goer, I don't think any movie is worth the cost of the ordinary ticket today. So, why should my money go towards lining this racist's pocketbook.

Patriots Day

Went to see Patriots Day with Mark Wahlberg. On April 15, 2013, two homemade bombs detonated 12 seconds and 210 yards apart at 2:49 p.m., near the finish line of the annual Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring several hundred others, including 16 who lost limbs. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was captured in a boat in Watertown and sentenced to death for his many crimes, one of which was murdering an MIT policeman. He was a naturalized American citizen born in Kyrgyzstan who self-radicalized, at least in part, by watching Anwar al-Awlaki lectures. al-Awlaki also had duel citizenship, Yemen and the United States. Tsarnaev's appeal was denied. His brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev whose U.S. citizenship request was pending at the time did us all a favor by being killed in a hail of police gunfire.

LA LA LAND - The best movie in ages

This is a "wow."  Nothing could keep me away from seeing Ryan Gosling, one of my top favorite actors of today and Emma Stone, both winning a Golden Globe Best Actor award for this movie. La La land was sensational and with emotions of heart and soul rooted in the past. It's full of fantasy and pursuing dreams and how one little decision, one little change of course, can alter the outcome of your entire life. We never forget our first real love, no matter what.

A Sounding off on Hollywood Celebrities

Dear Hollywood celebrities,

It’s time to wake up now.  Get this!  The only reason you exist is for my entertainment.  Some of you are beautiful.  Some of you can deliver a line with such conviction that you bring tears to my eyes. Some of you are so convincing that you scare the crap out of me. And others are so funny you can make me laugh uncontrollably.

But you all have one thing in common.  You only exist and have a place in my world to entertain me.  That’s it.  Nothing else!

You make your living pretending to be someone else. You play dress-up like a 5-year-old.  Your world is a make believe world.  It is not real.  It doesn’t exist.  You live for the camera while the rest of us live in the real world.  Your entire existence depends on my patronage.  I crank the organ grinder, and you dance.
Therefore, I don’t care where you stand on issues.  Honestly, your opinion means nothing to me.  Just because you had a lead role in a movie about prostitution doesn’t mean you know what it’s like to be a prostitute.  Your view matters far less to me than that of a someone living in Timbuktu .

Believe me or not, the hard truth is that you aren’t real.  I turn off my TV or shut down my computer, and you cease to exist.  Once I am done with you, I go back to the real world until I want you to entertain me again.

I don’t care that you think BP executives deserve the death penalty. I don’t care what you think about the environment.  I don’t care if you believe fracking is bad.  I don’t care if you call for more gun control.  I don’t care if you believe in catastrophic human-induced global warming.  And I could care less that you supported Hillary for President.  Get back into your bubble.  I’ll let you know when I’m in the mood for something pretty or scary or funny.

And one other thing.  What was with all this “I’ll leave the country if Donald Trump wins”?  Don’t you know how stupid that made you sound?  What did you think my reaction was going to be?  I better not vote for Trump or we’ll lose Whoopi Goldberg?  Al Sharpton?  Amy Schumer?  Leave.  I don’t care!  And don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

Make me laugh.  Make me cry. Even scare me. But realize this, the only words of yours that matter are scripted — just like your pathetic little lives.  I may agree with some of you from time to time, but in the final analysis, it doesn’t matter.  In my world, you exist solely for my entertainment.

So, shut your pie hole and dance, monkey, DANCE

Allied - Trailer

I love Brad Pitt.  This is an excellent movie and love story with Academy Award winner and French actress, Marion Cotillard, as his love interest. If you haven't seen it, don't miss it.

The Accountant

Although I can't stand his politics (Ben Affleck is a "Clooneybot"),  he always manages to be in some really interesting movies. The Accountant is no exception. If you like action packed way out thrillers, intrigue, guns, good guys and bad guys and a movie with a twist, this is the one for you! Don't believe the reviews; this movie is great.
