Bezos Calls Out the Fearmongers by Name

Jeff Bezos Told AI Doomers They Have It Completely Backwards and Bet 18 Billion Trying to Prove It

Speaking at the VivaTech conference in Paris on June 17, Bezos – the man who bankrolled the Washington Post for a decade – didn't dance around it.
.
"I know there's a lot of concern that many people have, including many smart people, that AI is going to make humans redundant," he said. Then he said three words that ended the argument. "I totally disagree."

His prediction isn't just optimistic – it's the opposite of everything the left has been selling. His reasoning is something every small business owner in America already knows in their gut: most great ideas never happen because they're too hard to execute.

"I promise you every single person in this audience has had an idea for a new business or a new product or a new device that they wish they could manufacture," Bezos said, "and that idea stayed in your head and went nowhere."

AI changes that equation entirely. Bezos calls it accelerating the "dream build loop" – compressing the gap between having an idea and actually building it.

The Quote Democrats Are Trying to Forget

Jeff Bezos Said Something on CNBC That Has Democrats Calling Him a Traitor

The Washington Post spent years running hit piece after hit piece on Donald Trump. Now the man who owns it just called Trump right about a lot of things.

What Bezos said next on live television is the kind of admission his own former newsroom will never recover from. Jeff Bezos sat down with CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin Wednesday morning and said something you almost never hear from a billionaire in his zip code.

"Trump has lots of good ideas, and he's been right about a lot of things," Bezos said. "You have to give him credit where credit is due."

He wasn't finished. I think he is a more mature, more disciplined version of himself than he was in his first term," Bezos added.

He blocked the Post's presidential endorsement months before the election, telling readers the paper would no longer take sides. He replaced longtime editor Sally Buzbee and directed the newsroom toward what he called fierce independence.

Then in February 2026, he gutted the place – the paper cut between 350 and 375 journalists in a single morning, nearly half the entire newsroom, wiping out the sports section, the books section, the flagship podcast, and most of the foreign bureaus.

Jeff Bezos' former wife gives away billions to liberal causes

Elon Musk takes aim at Jeff Bezos' ex-wife MacKenzie in brutal quip

Elon Musk has gone after Jeff Bezos' ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, who has become one of the world's biggest liberal philanthropists since her divorce.

The Tesla boss deemed Scott's massive charitable donations to left-wing nonprofits as 'concerning' on a post he shared on X on Tuesday.

Musk was reacting to a post that explained how Scott gave $2billion away in 2024 'to groups with witch stated missions like "Empowering Latinx immigrants," "Deportation Defense," and "Justice and equality for LGBTQ immigrants."'

Scott acknowledged another $2 billion in donations in 2023 in a blog post on Wednesday, bringing the total she’s given away since 2019 to $19.2 billion.

She does not comment on her giving beyond the rare post on her website, has shaken up the nonprofit sector with her embrace of 'trust-based philanthropy,' providing big grants with no strings attached to over 2,450 nonprofits.

In a since-deleted post on X, Musk wrote: 'Super rich ex-wives who hate their former spouse should be listed among "Reasons that Western Civilization died.''

Amazon had a secret algorithm to raise prices

Amazon Made $1 Billion in Extra Revenue With Secret Price-Raising

Nothing surprises me anymore...greed is the bottom line.

Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN.O) engaged in a range of unlawful tactics to increase its online retail profits, as revealed by a U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) court document on Thursday, which included the implementation of an algorithm that inflated U.S. consumers' prices, resulting in over $1 billion in extra charges.

Previously filed in September, the FTC's lawsuit had numerous details concealed until this Thursday, when a less redacted version was disclosed in the U.S. District Court in Seattle.

Amazon, boasting a colossal selection of 1 billion products in its digital marketplace, developed a "secret algorithm internally code named 'Project Nessie' to identify specific products for which it predicts other online stores will follow Amazon's price increases. ... Amazon used Project Nessie to extract more than a billion dollars directly from Americans' pocketbooks," according to the FTC. [thinkamericana.com]

Washinton Post leaving Hunter alone; going after Jared

WAPO concentrating on Trump and Kushner

The Latest Press Defense of Hunter Biden Is Absolutely Shameless

Amidst multiple investigations into the probable criminal activity of Hunter Biden, both at the congressional and federal law enforcement levels, the mainstream press has decided they’ve found something more important to obsess over: Jared Kushner.

Yes, despite the fact that Joe Biden’s son is allegedly implicated in illegal activity ranging from tax fraud to possibly sex crimes, it’s Kushner and Donald Trump who are drawing the eye of a media desperate to change the subject.

And everything the Washingon Post reveals about Donald Trump or Jared Kuchner is LEGAL.

The feud goes back to when Trump came out against Brzos: “Amazon is just not on an even playing field. They have a tremendous lobbying effort, in addition to having the Washington Post … What they have is a very uneven playing field.”

Palm Beach County School Board walked back a policy

PBC Parents Beat Back Bezos and Gates Owned Student-Athlete Data Collection Platform

After parental backlash at an August 17th school board meeting, the School District of Palm Beach County school board walked back a policy that would have required student athletes’ medical data to be submitted online through Aktivate, a digital platform connected to Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.

The policy would have given the two billionaire’s businesses access to sensitive information about minors, sparking concerns about data privacy and security.

The new method would have eliminated paper submission of information and limited facetime. According to the Palm Beach Post, the school board became aware of the deal with Aktivate and its effects in February but did not inform parents of the change until July.

Biden forgets we are a Capitalist Nation

Billionaire Speaks Candidly About Biden: He's Either Lying to America or Truly Clueless

Amazon Inc CEO Jeff Bezos slammed President Joe Biden on Saturday when once again he played the blame game when he tweeted that gas station operators should decrease their selling price closer to cost price.
“My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril,” Biden wrote Saturday on Twitter. “Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product. And do it now,” Biden said on his post.
Jeff Bezos @JeffBezos: "Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this. It’s either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics."

Biden got one supporter--the Chinese media.

Multi-Billionaire Jeff Bezos might get Bailed Out

Democrats Try to Give $10 Billion Bailout to Jeff Bezos for Failed Space Flight Company

"Jeff Bezos is one of the richest men in the world, but Democrats are trying to give him $10 billion of our tax dollars to bail him out for his losses from his failed space flight company.

Bezos created his Blue Origin company but the whole thing fell apart for him when a multibillion-dollar NASA contract went to SpaceX instead of his company.

Now the Democrats want to help bailout the world’s richest man… with our tax dollars.

Sen. Rand Paul exclaimed, “cry me a river” over Bezo’s loss."

The irony that is not lost is that Bernie Sanders, a socialist, submitted an amendment to which I agree--“To eliminate the multi-billion dollar Bezos Bailout.” Bezos is a capitalist and capitalism is taking the calculated risk, a fundamental precept of capitalism.

A procedural vote Thursday, after some last-minute deal-making, advanced that bill by a vote of 68-30 — a veritable landslide in the 50-50 split body.

Amazon Banning Books

Amazon Quietly Bans Books Containing Undefined ‘Hate Speech’

Some tech platforms describe it as speech that disparages people based on characteristics such as race, gender, and sexual proclivities. But insider evidence indicates the companies aren’t clear on where to draw the lines, perpetually redraw them, and at least in some instances ignore violations when politically convenient.

I guess when you are the wealthiest person in the world, you can do just about anything. We see that bias in Bezo's Washington Post.
