Never Forget Otto Warmbier

As the Fake News (I hate Trump) Media gushes over North Korea at the Olympics, never forget Otto Warmbier

After 17 months in brutal North Korean and sentenced to prison for swiping a political banner, Otto, age 22, was flown home to the US — in a coma, unresponsive and severely brain damaged. A few days later he was dead.

"One Camp, number 16, holds 20,000 political prisoners and is twice the size of Birmingham. A United Nations Human Rights report in 2014 described the abuse in the camps as brutality that does not have any parallel in the contemporary world.” [The Sun]

Otto's parents, Fred and Cindy, said: “He was unable to speak, unable to see and unable to react to verbal commands.

Shame on the American Press for giving any attention to North Korea. And thank you Vice President Pence for not recognizing their existence. Until they stop their threat of nuclear attacks and their brutal human rights abuses, they should be sanctioned to the extreme. There are still three Americans imprisoned in North Korea: Kim Sang-duk, Kim Dong-chul and Kim Hak-Song.

North Korea "murdered Otto Warmbier"

"North Korea murdered Otto Warmbier and a fierce response is needed, says a prominent expert on China and North Korea.

But he warns the increasingly belligerent actions of the communist regime are a result of the U.S. failing to hold it accountable for more than two decades.

Earlier this month, North Korea released Warmbier after imprisoning him for 16 months. He spent the vast majority of that time in a coma and died just days after returning to Ohio. North Korea claimed Warmbier’s coma stemmed from a bout of botulism and that he was released on humanitarian grounds." Doctors say no botulism was found.

Read about it... and what Gordon Chang, a leading scholar on China and North Korea and the author of “Nuclear Showdown: North Korea Takes on the World, has to say.

Quote of the Day - John McCain

“I was saddened to learn about the death of Otto Warmbier today following his unjust imprisonment and torture in North Korea. I send my heartfelt condolences to Otto’s family and friends as they grieve this tragic loss.

Let us state the facts plainly: Otto Warmbier, an American citizen, was murdered by the Kim Jong-un regime. In the final year of his life, he lived the nightmare in which the North Korean people have been trapped for 70 years: forced labor, mass starvation, systematic cruelty, torture, and murder.

North Korea is threatening its neighbors, destabilizing the Asia-Pacific region, and rapidly developing the technology to strike the American homeland with nuclear weapons. Now it has escalated to brutalizing Americans, including three other citizens currently imprisoned in North Korea. The United States of America cannot and should not tolerate the murder of its citizens by hostile powers.”
