Musk Sees a High-Stakes Election Test

Elon Musk is sounding the alarm over a possible Democratic sweep that could reshape the federal government. The stakes are tied to next week’s midterm elections and the 2028 presidential race. Musk said his biggest fear is that Democrats could win control of Congress this fall and then capture the White House in 2028, leaving the America we know and love gone.

That is a warning about a possible chain of events, not a claim that these changes have already happened. In a second post, he wrote, “It would be game over for America.” Musk argues that the Senate balance in 2029 could decide whether the plan moves forward. His message to conservative voters is blunt: Republicans need enough senators to block what he describes as a sweeping effort to remake the nation’s political system.

The Three Moves Musk Says Democrats Would Make:

1. First, he says Democrats would make Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico states, adding four Senate seats and creating what he calls a strong Senate advantage.
2. Second, he says they would reopen the borders and legalize everyone living in the country illegally through mass amnesty. Musk argues that move would help establish a permanent Democratic majority.
3. Third, he says Democrats would expand the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. The warning is that such a move could put First and Second Amendment rights at risk.

Taken together, Musk says the three steps would produce a permanent one-party state and end democracy in any meaningful sense. That is a serious claim, and it explains why he is placing so much emphasis on the number of Republican senators serving in 2029.

His argument is that election victories in the House or presidency would not be enough if Republicans cannot hold the Senate.
