Biden Impeachment Effort Grows: MTG Backs Plan, McCarthy Against

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s effort to impeach Biden is growing, but Speaker Kevin McCarthy is yet to sign on

The articles of impeachment against Joe Biden introduced by Rep. Lauren Boebert are finding support among other Republican populists, namely Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, but House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is urging House Republicans against the impeachment vote...no balls. They need a two thirds vote in the Senate so are reluctant to go forward.

Boebert introduced a privileged motion to force an impeachment vote in the House, an act that signals open defiance against McCarthy and traditional lawmaking in Congress. While Greene had previously introduced articles of impeachment against Joe Biden, this will mark the first time the House is forced to a vote.

"A deranged 38 year old Democrat who obviously has been brainwashed living in this county, threatened to kill Rep. Lauren Boebert several times before his arrest. Matthew Comiskey, a self-described “lib,” was arrested in Palm Beach for his tweets threatening Boebert’s life.

“Don’t come to Florida. Us libs have big guns here and we stand our ground. Take you down like Trayvon,” and “if I ever saw Lauren I’d be glad to take her out and go to prison. Would be job well done.”

There are five felony charges against Comiskey. Each one carries a penalty from 2 to 20 years each, so if he is convicted, he is looking at 10 to 100 years in prison. Even if the judge decides to have the terms run concurrently, he would serve two years."
