Mark Kelly's spy balloon company funded by China Communist Party

Did Mark Kelly’s Ambition Boost China’s Balloon Fleet?

Before his tenure as a senator from Arizona, Kelly had an illustrious career as an astronaut and co-founder of World View, a company initially dedicated to space tourism.

However, recent reports indicate that Kelly's entrepreneurial focus shifted from celestial exploration to more terrestrial concerns.

Before serving on both the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, Kelly launched a business that manufactures surveillance balloons. Notably, one of the company's significant investors has deep ties to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party).

Axios reported that shortly after World View was started, it received venture capital from Tencent in 2013, then again in 2016.

Tencent is one of China's largest corporations, and it was founded in 1998 by “Pony” Ma Huateng, Zhang Zhidong, Xu Chenye, Chen Yidan and Zeng Liqing. Last year, “Pony” Ma Huateng was listed by Forbes as the fourth-richest man in China with a net worth of $32.1 billion. Ma is also the CEO of Tencent.

Kim Jong Un Says North Korea Will Launch 3 Military Spy Satellites in 2024

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has called for 'overwhelming' war readiness as he announced a military buildup for 2024 on Sunday Kim vowed to launch three new spy satellites in 2024, build more military drones, and boost its nuclear arsenal, which analysts estimate could already include 20 to 60 warheads North Korea already has one spy satellite in orbit, which was launched in November.

North Korea plans to launch three more spy satellites next year as part of efforts to ramp up its military, the country's state media has said.

Last month Pyongyang put a spy satellite into space - and claims it has since photographed major US and South Korean military sites.

Setting out his aims for 2024, Kim Jong Un also said his dealings with South Korea would see "fundamental change."

And he said he had no option but to press ahead with his nuclear ambitions.

Chinese Spy Balloon coordinated with U.S. Internet Provider

Report reveals Chinese spy craft communicated with home country via US internet provider

A recent investigation has revealed that a Chinese surveillance balloon, which traversed the United States earlier this year, reportedly utilized an American internet provider for communication with China.

Two current and one former official from the Biden administration disclosed in a report by NBC News on Thursday that the vessel primarily utilized a U.S. internet service provider to receive navigational communications, as Fox News reported.

The internet provider, not disclosed by NBC News, has refuted the allegations that it was a channel for the spy balloon's communications.

The company reached this conclusion after conducting an internal investigation and consulting with U.S. officials. In other words, they investigated themselves.

Senator Mark Kelly tied to Spy Balloon company

Dem Senator Tied To ‘Spy Balloon’ Company & China

Funny how this didn’t come out until after the midterms isn’t it?

Recently re-elected Democrat Senator Mark Kelly (D-Arizona) helped start a Tucson-based company called World View in 2012. The company received capital from Tencent – one of the largest tech companies in China – in 2013 and 2016.

Axios reported that Tencent has “close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.”

It just so happens that the Arizona company co-founded by the Democrat Senator manufactures and operates high-altitude surveillance balloons.

Current World View president and CEO Ryan Hartman told the Arizona Republic in 2020 that Tencent stopped investing in the company once they left the space tourism field and began to focus on defense contracts.

It's always someone else's fault!

Biden Plays Blame Game with Chinese Spy Balloons

"Little children will blame everyone and anything when they’re caught doing something wrong. As we mature, we learn to accept responsibility for our mistakes.

However, Joe Biden acts more like a little child than an adult. The Biden administration hasn’t accepted responsibility for a single bad judgment or crisis they’ve created."

Everything is the other guy's fault...Biden plays the Blame Game: Putin, Trump, Republicans, Half of America, you name it, it's their fault.

Now the Chinese Spy Balloon is "Trump's fault." It is so pathetic.

China spying

CONFIRMED! Chinese Balloon May Have Intercepted US Communications from Military Installations

As the debris from the Chinese spy balloon continues to be examined by the FBI and a clearer picture of its capabilities and intentions emerge, news has revealed that the balloon was collecting highly sensitive communications signals with the help of specialized antennas.

This raises suspicion and questions as to why China would fly this balloon right over key U.S. military and nuclear sites, likely capturing images of these locations as it drifted across America.

A senior State Department official reported that this high-altitude balloon had been used by China for surveillance operations in more than 40 countries around the world, sparking outrage from U.S. lawmakers on Capitol Hill who are demanding action from the Biden administration regarding why it wasn’t taken down earlier.

Well, everyone is outraged so what will we do about it? Joe's been fairly silent and communications with China are at a standstill.

China's Spy Balloon

China's Spy Balloon Was 200 ft Tall, Carried Payload the Size of a Jet

The Chinese high-altitude balloon shot down over the Atlantic off the coast of South Carolina over the weekend was 200 feet tall and carried a payload (everything it was carrying) the size of a regional airliner, a U.S. Air Force general said.

The balloon's superstructure and hardware weighed "in excess of a couple thousand pounds," said Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command.

China has stuck to its line that the balloon was a civilian airship collecting meteorological data, but VanHerck said NORAD was confident from the start about the craft's surveillance purposes.

Of course, the United States waited until it got into the ocean before it was shot down with the "payload" sinking into the Atlantic Ocean.

Kash Patel on Biden and Spy Balloons

Kash Patel: Biden Administration Diverts Attention From National Security Failures—From Chinese Spy Balloon to Fentanyl Crisis

“I can tell you without equivocation that during my tenure, there was not one shred of intelligence that came across that showed that even the possibility of a balloon from the Chinese Communist Party or otherwise was going to cross the territorial waters of the United States of America,” says Kash Patel.

Defense officials have said Chinese spy balloons entered U.S. airspace at least three times during the Trump administration. During a press briefing on Feb. 6, Air Force Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), said that those Chinese spy balloons had gone undetected at the time.

Kash Patel argues the Biden administration is trying to distract from its own failures. We discuss the Chinese spy balloons and President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address.

China won't Fess Up

China Accuses US of ‘Information Warfare’ Over Spy Balloon Claims

In a not-so-surprising effort at victim-blaming, Beijing is now accusing the United States of engaging in “information warfare” for asserting that the balloon which sauntered its way across US airspace last week was engaged in surveillance, not just a weather balloon that lost its way.

Despite China’s attempted gaslighting, US officials aren’t playing along. According to a “senior State Department official“:
China’s military is likely behind a bold aerial spy program that has targeted more than 40 countries on five continents with high-altitude surveillance balloons similar to one the U.S. shot down over the Atlantic Ocean coast last weekend.

Balloon carrying Hypersonic glide vehicles

Balloon With 3 Hypersonic Missiles Tested by China in 2018

Chinese state-owned television aired footage of a high-altitude balloon dropping hypersonic weapons in 2018.

The stunning footage displays a high-altitude balloon, not dissimilar from the one that traversed over the United States last week, carrying three hypersonic glide vehicles (HGVs) into high altitude and dropping them for testing.

Chinese state broadcaster CCTV reported on the weapons test in September 2018. The footage has since been deleted from Chinese media, but photographs and short clips can still be found online.

In one post from 2018, a Twitter user shared footage from Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, which shows the balloon lifting the three HGVs from the ground.

“While China has tested hypersonic missiles launched from balloons in the past, that isn’t a likely use for these airships,” Crespo told The Epoch Times in an email. “The biggest threat is sending one or more of these high altitude balloons over the U.S. with a small nuclear EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse) device.”

“Detonated at extremely high altitude, they could knock out power and communications across the US, wreaking widespread havoc for a year or more without firing a shot on the ground.”

Biden made a terrible decision to wait from blowing it out of the sky last week.

People's Republic of China surveillance balloon

China Issues Statement on US Shooting Down of Balloon: “A Clear Overreaction and a Serious Violation of International Practice”

The Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a statement Saturday night (Sunday morning Beijing time) on the shooting down by the U.S. of a Chinese balloon over the Atlantic Ocean after it had traversed the United States from Alaska to South Carolina this week (also over Canada).

China claims the balloon was a civilian aircraft and says it will “safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the company concerned.” China called the U.S. shooting down the balloon “a serious violation of international practice” and said it “reserves the right to make further responses if necessary.”

U.S. officials first detected the balloon and its payload on January 28 when it entered U.S. airspace near the Aleutian Islands but they didn't fess up until a citizen spotted it in the sky.

High-altitude spying marks new low for US-China ties

Chinese Spy Balloon now shot down over the east coast near South Carolina

In a letter sent Thursday to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Sen. Steve Daines, a Republican from Montana, wrote: “The fact that this balloon was occupying Montana airspace creates significant concern that Malmstrom Air Force Base and the United States’ intercontinental ballistic missile fields are the target of this intelligence gathering mission.

“It is vital to establish the flight path of this balloon, any compromised U.S. national security assets, and all telecom or IT infrastructure on the ground within the U.S. that this spy balloon was utilizing,” the letter said, according to the Post.

Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte said in a statement he was heartily sick of Chinese intrusions. “From the spy balloon to the Chinese Communist Party spying on Americans through TikTok to CCP-linked companies buying American farmland, I’m deeply troubled by the constant stream of alarming developments for our national security,” Gianforte said, per the Post.

President Joe Biden says the US is "going to take care of" a suspected Chinese spy balloon that has been flying across the US in recent days. He took care of it yesterday but it should have been shot down the minute it went into our air space.
