Patriot United News says, "The FBI apparently managed to remunerate Twitter as a reward for being so nice and going out of their way with all the election censorship. It may not be a simple quid pro quo payment but it did add up to more than $3 million. That’s the latest from Twitter Files. James Baker is a lawyer. On February 10, 2021, seven months before the election, an unnamed Twitter employee proudly informed lawyer James Baker and then general counsel Sean EdgettEdgett “we have collected $3,415,323 since October 2019!” As independent journalist Michael Shellenberger, explained, the money came from “Twitter’s Safety, Content & Law Enforcement (SCALE) division.”

Twitter apparently instituted a “reimbursement program.” They billed the FBI for all the staff hours devoted to ” processing requests from the FBI.” C-Suite management decided to give the bureau a discount. They wanted the election rigged too, so made an “in-kind contribution.”

No, Gordon Sondland Did Not Prove Ukraine ‘Quid pro Quo’

"Democrats are now claiming that in Gordon Sondland has now confirmed there was a quid pro quo deal between President Trump and President Zelensky of Ukraine. But, in fact, he did not. What he did say was that the money was being held up and because he did not know why he assumed it was because of the anti-corruption investigation once the first part of September rolled around. No investigation was started but President Trump released the money in September when it became apparent that no other country was going to aid Ukraine.

Sondland did not say there was a quid pro quo deal. What he said was that he assumed there was and that he notified Ukrainian officials of what he thought. President Trump had said he was holding up the money to try to force other countries to contribute, too. When they didn’t, he released the money. Ukrainian officials said there was no deal and that they didn’t know the money was being withheld until 5 weeks after the phone call."
