President Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, issued a stern warning to Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers that sent shockwaves through the Democrat establishment.

The confrontation began after Evers issued a memo instructing state employees to contact attorneys before cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who visit state government buildings.

Homan didn’t mince words when asked about Evers and his directive.

“Wait till you see what’s coming,” the White House border czar told reporters. “I meant what I said. You can not support what we’re doing. And you can support sanctuary cities if that’s what you want to do. But if you cross that line of impediment or knowingly harboring and concealing an illegal alien, that is a felony. And we’ll treat it as such.”

"Border czar Tom Homan told Newsmax on Saturday that he continues to be perplexed at the pushback the Trump administration is getting from Democrat politicians across the country saying “national security threats should be a nonpartisan issue.”

Earlier this week President Donald Trump removed top ICE official Caleb Vitello expressing frustration that the number of deportations of illegal immigrants are well below expectations.

Meanwhile, the mayors of Newark, Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami have all independently come out against the administration’s efforts and publicly announced their intentions to support the illegal immigrant communities in their cities."

Hialeah and Miami in Miami-Dade County are ranked one and two, respectively, on the list of U.S. cities with the highest foreign-born population. Lake Worth, FL was added 4-13-09.

Homan said he is “amazed” that mayors do not want to protect their citizens.
