Commander in Chief blindsided?

Trump rebuked Hegseth after defense secretary scrapped Poland troop deployment without warning

President Trump called Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and demanded to know why the Pentagon chief had abruptly canceled a planned U.S. armored brigade deployment to Poland, a move that blindsided one of America's closest NATO allies and drew bipartisan anger on Capitol Hill, the Daily Mail reported.

Hegseth called off the deployment earlier this month. No public explanation followed. What did follow was a sharp phone call from the commander in chief, a scramble by Polish officials to reach the Oval Office, and, within days, a presidential announcement reversing the damage with an even larger troop commitment.

The episode raises a straightforward question: How does the defense secretary cancel a major allied deployment without the president's knowledge, then leave the White House to clean up the mess?

The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump lectured Hegseth during the call, telling him the United States should not mistreat Poland given the country's close ties to the White House. The Journal's reporting was not denied by either the Pentagon or the White House. Both issued statements insisting the president and his defense secretary were aligned on U.S. troop deployments in Europe.

The decision was part of a larger plan to draw down forces in Europe and for NATO to start picking up the slack.

Poland believes NATO is a service it receives, not a covenant it upholds

Poland’s Break With NATO Raises A Difficult Question: What Comes Next?

"There is a moment in the life of any institution when its defining contradiction becomes impossible to ignore.

The contradiction does not appear all at once. It accumulates slowly, like water behind a dam, and then one day a small, concrete event makes visible what had been hiding in plain sight for years. For NATO, that moment arrived when Poland said "no."

The sequence of events deserves to be told plainly, because its logic is devastating.

Iran, through no fault of Turkey’s, targeted a NATO member state with multiple ballistic missile attacks. Turkey, a dues-paying, treaty-bound member of the North Atlantic Alliance, turned to a fellow member for help. It asked Poland to provide a single Patriot air defense battery on a temporary basis, for the straightforward purpose of protecting Turkish civilians and territory from a foreign nation’s missiles. Poland refused.

The United States intervened diplomatically. Washington took up Turkey’s case directly and asked Poland to reconsider. Poland refused again. Consider what that second refusal means.

The United States stations 10,000 of its own troops in Poland, positioned roughly 50 miles from Russian territory. Those soldiers are accompanied by 170 Abrams tanks, hundreds of Bradley fighting vehicles, F-16s, F-15s, and periodic deployments of F-35s. American forces in Poland are not a symbolic gesture. They are a tripwire, and everyone in Warsaw knows it.

If Russia attacked Poland, it would not merely be attacking a NATO member. It would be attacking American soldiers, which means it would be at war with the United States of America.

That guarantee, backed by American blood and treasure, is the single most powerful deterrent Poland possesses. It dwarfs anything in the Polish inventory, including the Patriot batteries Poland chose to keep for itself rather than temporarily share with an ally under fire."

Russia not afraid of NATO and continue its war games intimidation

Russia and Belarus start military exercise near NATO border after drone incursion

Russia and Belarus on Friday began their "Zapad 2025" joint military exercises amid escalating tensions following Russian drone incursions into Polish airspace during an attack on Ukraine earlier this week.

"Zapad" (or West in Russian) drills occur every two years and are perceived as intimidation exercises on NATO's eastern flank.

Russia and its key ally Belarus started major joint military drills on Friday, putting NATO on edge days after Poland accused Moscow of escalating tensions by firing attack drones through its airspace.

NATO's eastern flank members that border Belarus – Poland, Lithuania and Latvia – are on high alert over the drills, which Belarus says will be held near Borisov, a town east of the capital Minsk.

All three countries have ramped up security ahead of the exercises, with Poland ordering the complete closure of its border with Belarus for their duration.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned of "critical days" for his country.

Poland has enough of Russian drones

Poland Shoots Down Russian Drones Violating Its Airspace

Poland's military said it shot down intruding Russian drones after the NATO member and allies scrambled aircraft early on Wednesday in response to what it called an "unprecedented" violation of its airspace as Russian forces attacked in nearby western Ukraine.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said his country's airspace was "violated by a huge number of Russian drones" and those that "posed a direct threat were shot down," adding that he is in "constant contact" with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Poland has frequently scrambled jets in response to waves of Russian aerial attacks on its neighbor, Ukraine, throughout the war launched more than 3 1/2 years ago.

NATO members are collectively obliged to respond to attacks on other alliance nations under Article 5 of the founding treaty. Russian drones and missiles entering NATO airspace have not been treated as attacks on the alliance.

Russia is not a member of NATO. In fact, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization was originally founded as a counterweight to the Soviet Union, and today, Russia is considered "the most significant and direct threat" to the alliance's security.

Endorsed by Trump, Karol Nawrocki, the newly elected President of Poland

Pro-Trump Conservative Nawrocki Wins Poland’s Presidential Election

Conservative candidate Karol Nawrocki narrowly beat liberal RafaƂ Trzaskowski in Poland’s presidential election runoff, winning 50.89 percent of the vote to 49.11 percent, according to the electoral commission.

The result was a dramatic shift from an initial exit poll released immediately after voting ended at 9 p.m. In that survey, which had a 2 percentage point margin of error, Trzaskowski had 50.3 percent compared to 49.7 percent for Nawrocki. Turnout was 71.6 percent.

Nawrocki, backed by the nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) party and also by U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration, aims to pull Poland away from the European mainstream in a more populist direction.

Poland ensuring its security

Poland Plans Military Expansion and Mandatory Training for All Men

In a major policy shift, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has unveiled plans for the extensive military expansion of the country's armed forces.

According to the Daily Caller, amid heightened regional tensions, particularly because of the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, Tusk announced mandatory military training for all adult men and an initiative toward acquiring nuclear capabilities.

On March 7, 2025, during a session at the Sejm, Poland's parliament, Donald Tusk declared the government's intention to dramatically increase the military force to 500,000 members, including reservists, a substantial rise from the current strength of 200,000.

Donald Tusk articulated the critical link between Europe's security and Ukraine's sovereignty, stressing the geopolitical ramifications of any weakening in Ukraine's stand against Russia. This perspective is central to Poland’s strategic defense planning.

This strategic enlargement of the military aims to ensure that Poland can maintain sovereignty and security in a region fraught with conflict and uncertainty.

Zelensky just gave the finger to Poland

Poland Issues Warning to Zelensky After UN Comments

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been told that he must not insult Poland amid a growing spat between the countries.

Since Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, Poland has been one of Kyiv’s biggest backers, pledging around 4.27 billion euros (about $4.54 billion) in military, financial and humanitarian aid.

But relations have soured in recent weeks after Warsaw said it would not suspend an EU ban on Ukrainian agricultural products that Brussels had imposed earlier this year, which aimed to protect European farmers.

Since he screws around with the United States and gets what he wants, he feels he can do the same thing to Poland. So what does Zelensky do to get even with Poland? Ukraine filed a lawsuit against Poland, as well as Slovakia and Hungary, which also intend to continue with the ban.

Zelensky believes the world owes him

Zelensky now threatens Israel after recently threatening Poland

Many global security experts now believe that Zelensky (on behalf of Biden Inc.), has lost his war against the Russian Federation, who argues it was forced to take massive combined-arms defensive actions against an encroaching NATO. Moscow’s kinetic actions also look to have triggered accelerated decline of Washington’s Liberal World Order.

Zelensky now threatens Israel after recently threatening Poland. Kyiv condemned ‘unfriendly’ Polish decisions to extend Ukrainian grain ban in order to protect its own domestic economy. Zelensky also threatened Hungary too, and relations have continued to sour.

Israel has consistently refused to provide Zelensky with its advanced weapons systems much to his anger.

He’s cancelled elections, political opposition, he’s shut down churches by force, he’s arrested journalists, he’s forcing military unsuitable males to serve at gunpoint, American taxpayer money has vanished. He continues to ask for more and more money when that taxpayer money is desperately needed inside America.

Poland on High Alert

Poland has increased border security in anticipation of Russian Wagner mercenaries relocating to neighboring Belarus

The border between the two countries, which was once marked by wooden look-out posts, has been transformed in recent years with miles of metal fencing and thermal imaging cameras.

With the prospect of Wagner members moving to Belarus, armed guards patrolling the border have been stepped-up. Their border is 115 miles long.

"Maybe Wagner will be a problem, but no one really knows why they're going there or what they're preparing for," Michal Bura of the local border guard said.

Russian missiles land in Poland killing two

At least two dead after Russian missiles land in NATO state Poland on Ukraine border

The Prime Minister of Poland has called an emergency meeting following the explosion.

Two people have been killed in Poland after two stray Russian rockets landed near the border with Ukraine.

The rockets landed in the NATO state following Russia's mass bombardment of Ukrainian cities earlier today, which saw over 100 rockets launched.

According to the AP news agency, a senior US intelligence official said that the missiles were of Russian origin.

Poland's Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, has convened the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defense Affairs "as a matter of urgency", government spokesman Piotr MĂŒller confirmed, with local news sites claiming this is likely the result of the explosions.

The rockets fell in the town of PrzewodĂłw, hitting grain dryers..

Tony Blinken Lied AGAIN!

Poland Just Called Out Tony Blinken For Telling A Bald-Faced LIE On Them Sending Fighter Jets To Ukraine

Tony Blinken has to be about the worst!

Secretary of State Tony Blinken started a rumor on Face the Nation on Sunday morning. He suggested that Poland will send its fighter jets to the Ukrainians. That would put Poland on a war footing.

The Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland labeled it fake news hours before Blinken’s appearance on the CBS Sunday News show.

So, basically, Blinken lied – again.

The Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland state with certainty, “Poland won’t send its fighter jets to #Ukraine as well as allow to use its airports. We significantly help in many other areas.”

Poland Schools Biden On How To Build A Better Wall

Poland has the same problems with illegals as the U.S.

The Biden administration has been unsuccessful at ensuring the security of the U.S. and should examine Poland’s example if it wants to successfully secure the southern border, according to the Polish government minister, Marcin Romanowski.

Poland is building a wall on its border with Belarus after thousands of illegal migrants attempted to cross its border in August. The EU accused Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenka of inciting the wave of migrants and trying to destabilize Poland.

“Tens of thousands of migrants from the Middle East arrived by air to Minsk and then were transported to the border,” Under Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice Romanowski said Friday.

The problem with this advice is that Biden and his administration have no desire to stop the invasion of our country...NONE.

Poland's escalating Illegal Problem

Illegals crossing into Poland

Russian Sends Two Nuclear-Capable Bombers Over Belarus

"For two days straight, Russia sent two nuclear-capable strategic bombers on training missions over Belarus this week in what is being called a strong show of Moscow’s support for Belarus in its dispute over migration at the Polish border.

The EU has accused Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko of encouraging these migrants to illegally cross the border as a “hybrid attack” in retaliation against EU sanctions on his government in response to Lukashenko’s crackdown on dissidents after his disputed 2020 reelection." But Poland is blocking the migrants and accusing Belarus and its ally, Russia, of using the migrants as pawns in an attempt to destabilize the EU - lots of complex things going on there."

Trump's speech in Poland - The Left had a freakout

[Daily Signal] Western values, Judeo-Christian at base but also to some degree influenced by Greco-Roman views on philosophy and politics, are under threat from within by a nihilist “Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho, Western Civ has got to go” mentality. President Donald Trump told Poles fighting a version of that mindset that he was with them—and the American left had a freakout.

Said freakout is, to be honest, well deserved. If Trump carries through with a campaign to defeat the multicultural assault on Western civilization, he would be finally responding to what has been a sustained and, so far, singularly successful leftist attempt to fundamentally transform America and her European allies.
