"It delivered a record $133.6 billion in economic impact in 2024, according to a new Visit Florida analysis released Tuesday, marking one of the strongest years on record for visitor spending and tax revenue.The report shows that tourism-related taxes generated enough revenue to offset what Florida households would otherwise pay by an estimated $1,730 annually, with total savings approaching $2,000 when indirect effects are included.
Out-of-state visitors spent $134.9 billion last year, a 3 percent increase over 2023, as Florida drew an all-time high of 143 million travelers and supported 1.8 million jobs statewide.
