Distributed for the stated purpose of protecting public health and assisting people to vote safely, the private funds helped popularize mail-in voting, ballot drop boxes, and ballot harvesting at a scale never seen before.

In the years since 2020, either by legislation or referendum, Republicans have outlawed such private funding in 28 states.

Twenty-two states still allow the practice, raising concerns among Republicans about the integrity of future elections.

BALLOT LANGUAGE: Do you support an amendment to prohibit the use of funds, goods, or services from a foreign government or a nongovernmental source to conduct elections and election functions and duties unless the use is authorized by the secretary of state through policies established in accordance with law?

The new amendment to Louisiana’s constitution was approved by 72.6% of voters during Saturday’s elections. It states that “[n]o funds, goods, or services donated by a foreign government or a nongovernmental source shall be used to conduct elections unless provided for in the election code and subject to restrictions under general law.”

House Republicans say the social media giant has not turned over enough documents that would shine a light on the company’s censorship bans,” Sandra Smith said before introducing Vaughn.

This began in February and this is all a part of the House Judiciary Committee’s investigation into whether or not media coordinated with the White House and the executive branch to censor people on their platform and by extension, violating the First Amendment rights of users on their platform.

In a major development, Breitbart reported that the Supreme Court agreed on Monday to hear a lawsuit involving Facebook parent company Meta.
 
The lawsuit pits Meta against the NSO Group, an Israeli cyber intelligence company that created a spyware program known as “Pegasus.” The Program is said to have targeted heads of state along with reporters and activists.

Meta contends that the Pegasus program allowed governments to spy on journalists, activists, and political figures who used its social media platform WhatsApp. “NSO’s spyware has enabled cyberattacks targeting human rights activists, journalists and government officials,” the company was quoted as saying in its brief.

On Friday, the stunning news broke that the FBI had gone to Facebook in October of 2020 to “warn” the social media giant that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation. That revelation came via Mark Zuckerberg himself on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

The FBI’s actions helped pushed a regime of censorship just prior to the election that very well could have altered the results given the small margin in three states that decided things. It was election interference on a stunning scale, carried out in a way that can only be explained by political weaponization.

Like many parents, he chose to home school his kids to avoid the indoctrination agenda of the left. Ortiz has since moved his children to Florida, where Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is sticking up for parents’ rights.
