Putin, Xi to Sign 'Series' of Deals in Moscow Summit

Xi Jinping will join Vladimir Putin in Moscow for commemorations of the Allied victory against Nazi Germany, the Kremlin said.

The visit, due to take place from May 7 to 10, coincides with heightened tensions between China and the US over severe US trade tariffs and Putin’s order for a three-day truce in Ukraine.

Moscow and Beijing declared a “no limits partnership” weeks before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The two countries have since expanded their trade and military ties in an alliance that has worried the West.

Putin’s office said the Chinese president would hold bilateral talks with his Russian counterpart on “developing partnerships and strategic ties” and on “issues on the international and regional agenda.”

“The governments and ministers ... are expected to sign a series of bilateral documents. The Kremlin has drawn parallels between its offensive against Ukraine and its Second World War fight against Nazi Germany.

At issue is JD Vance defending free speech in Europe. Brennan claims free speech is what led Germany to the Holocaust. No, really. This is a thing that was said on the television. On a "news" program meant to inform. In 2025.

Rubio clapped back as the kids say, and was all like, "Free speech was not used to conduct a genocide. The genocide was conducted by an authoritarian Nazi regime. There was no free speech in Nazi Germany. There was also no opposition in Nazi Germany. That’s not an accurate reflection of history."

According to Fox News, the Selective Service System found itself in hot water after reposting a controversial message on its X (formerly Twitter) account that drew parallels between current American situations and Nazi Germany in 1936.

The reposted message, which remained visible for over an hour before being removed, contained explicit language and suggested that military service would become mandatory, similar to Germany's historical precedent.

The incident occurred on the same day Donald Trump secured his victory in the presidential election, adding fuel to ongoing political tensions and discussions about the future of military service in America.

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, on at least five occasions as governor of Minnesota, hosted a Muslim cleric who celebrated Hamas‘s Oct. 7 attack last year on Israel and promoted a film popular among Neo-Nazis that glorifies Adolf Hitler, the Washington Examiner found.

The imam, Asad Zaman of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, joined other Muslim leaders in May 2023 for a meeting about mosque security with Walz’s gubernatorial office in Minnesota.

Zaman also spoke at a May 2020 event to call for peaceful protests with the governor during the riots in Minnesota sparked after George Floyd’s death.

In April 2019, the cleric delivered an invocation before Walz’s state address — just months after Zaman called for an end to a government shutdown at a press conference with Walz in January 2019.

To Sam Westrop, a terrorism researcher and analyst at the Middle East Forum think tank, Walz’s ties to Zaman show anti-Israel extremists may be given a platform in a potential Harris-Walz administration.

Harris leads former President Donald Trump by 0.5%, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average from NYTimes/Sienna.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) found a copy of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf book in a children’s room at a civilians’ house in Gaza that Hamas used as a base, Israel’s President Isaac Herzog on Sunday told BBC. The base with explosive laboratories is said to have been discovered recently, during the ground operation.

The Nazi manifesto was found among the personal belongings of a terrorist, according to the Israeli Presidency Spokesperson’s statement. “By looking at the book, one can notice markings and underlining alongside written comments, which teach about the deepening of his life and the anti-Semitic and monstrous perception of Hitler by the terrorists.”

This book led to the Holocaust and to World War II. This book was found a few days ago in northern Gaza, in a children’s room, which became a base used for terrorist activities by the terrorist organization Hamas,” Herzog told BBC.

Speaker Anthony Rota introduced 98-year-old Yaroslav Hunka during a special session at Parliament Hill on Friday attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, describing “Ukrainian hero, Canadian hero” Hunka as one who had “fought [for] Ukrainian independence against the Russians” in the Second World War.

Having done so, the chamber came to its feet — including Zelensky and Trudeau — and gave sustained applause with whooping cheers, twice.

Yet Hunka was quickly identified as a former member of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Galician), a notorious paramilitary formation which the Polish ambassador to Canada said on Sunday was “responsible for murdering thousands of Poles & Jews”.

The Waffen-SS was a paramilitary fighting force of the NSDAP, which was led by the ideologically most devoted Nazis in the Second World War. As well as units manned by party-loyal ethnic Germans, it also created volunteer corps, divisions, brigades, and legions recruited from foreign nations and collaborationists. Some of these groups became notorious for being among the most brutal Nazi units and many were executed after the war.

Florida man arrested for hanging swastikas and antisemitic signs on Orlando bridge

Man is accused of violating new state law banning display of hate images without permission

A Florida man was arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Wednesday, accused of hanging swastikas and antisemitic signage on Orlando’s Daryl Carter Parkway Bridge.

Jason Brown, 48, of Cape Canaveral, purportedly hung the offending signage off a fence on the bridge with direct sight lines to U.S. Interstate 4 on June 10. The alleged display was not permitted, and state authorities are also seeking three other people at the demonstration who live out of state.

Mr. Brown, whom Florida officials described as a “neo-Nazi demonstrator,” claims to be a member of the Order of the Black Sun, an antisemitic extremist group. The name references the black sun symbol first used by the Nazi SS and its leader, Heinrich Himmler.

Order of the Black Sun (OBS) is a small neo-Nazi network primarily based in the state of Florida. The group distributes propaganda and holds in-person demonstrations to spread their white supremacist ideology. OBS was formed in early 2023 by long time affiliates of Florida's overlapping white supremacist network.

The alleged display would constitute a violation of Florida House Bill 269, signed into law earlier in 2023 by Governor Ron DeSantis.
