Proactively Preparing for the Effects of Hurricane Milton is the City of Lake Worth Beach's Top Priority
LAKE WORTH BEACH, Florida – The City of Lake Worth Beach is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of its residents and employees in anticipation of storm effects from Hurricane Milton which will be making landfall on the west coast of Florida this week. City departments are implementing a series of actions aimed at mitigating the potential impacts of the severe weather.
As a safety measure for employees, the City of Lake Worth Beach will be closing their public offices, facilities and library on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10. All City meetings and programing have been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date. The City expects to resume normal business hours on Friday, October 11.
The Lake Worth Beach Solid Waste and Recycling Division will temporarily suspend the collection of yard waste piles and garbage on Thursday, October 10, and remind residents not to place yard waste, tree trimmings or garbage on curbs as they can block drains which leads to flooding. The City anticipates resuming regularly scheduled service on Friday, October 11.
Residents can also download the Recycle Coach app to receive notifications regarding schedule changes.
The Water Utilities Department has been working overtime to conduct extra cleaning and clearing of storm drains in preparation for potential heavy rainfall. All lift stations are being continuously monitored remotely for power outages. Water Utilities crews will be on 24-hour coverage and are equipped with portable pumps and generators to ensure uninterrupted wastewater service.
Additionally, Electric Utilities crews will work diligently through the storm to make repairs and restore services to customers as conditions allow. The Utility Customer Service walk-in location at 120 North Federal Highway will be closed to the public throughout the storm. Utility Customer Service phone banks will remain in service as usual throughout the storm and customers are reminded that our electric outage management system will alert us electronically to service interruptions even if you don’t call us. If you’re experiencing an emergency such as life safety event or crime, please call 911.
Customers can also make reports of electric outages, wires down and damaged poles on-line using the following link - https://outage.lakeworthbeachfl.gov. Staff in the control room receives these reports at all times of the day and night within a few minutes and will prioritize the dispatching of crews to make repairs as conditions allow. Major electric outage locations will be updated periodically on the City website’s electric outage map -- https://wov.lakeworthbeachfl.gov.
As a precaution against anticipated high winds and heavy swells, the City closed the pier on Monday, October 7. City staff will evaluate any potential damage once the inclement weather has passed and will reopen the pier as soon as it is safe to do so.
In addition, the City is closing their beach and Casino Complex on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10, out of an abundance of caution in preparation for the effects of rain and wind from Hurricane Milton. All businesses and parking lots at the beach will be closed, and no lifeguards will be on duty.
City athletic facilities and fields along with the Lake Worth Beach Golf Course closed Monday, October 7, and will remain closed until after the storm has passed and the parks have been inspected to ensure the fields and golf course are free of debris and safe to use.
"We take these precautions to mitigate issues and ensuring the safety of our community before, during and after a storm," said Interim City Manager, Jamie Brown. "Residents should stay informed and take necessary precautions as the weather approaches."
As a reminder to residents, the City is currently under a Flood Watch through Thursday, October 10, which means conditions are favorable for flooding with the amount of anticipated rain. Residents should avoid areas knowns to flood and do not drive through flooded roadways.
Residents are encouraged to visit the City’s official website, lakeworthbeachfl.gov, and social media channels, @lakeworthbeachpbc, for updates and information on additional storm preparations. Residents can also report power outages and issues on the City's website or call (561) 586-1695.

Biden Press Conferences
His press conference after the Special Prosecutor's report was relesed was a real doozy. Actually, I felt sorry for him in his rapidly declining health and delusion but more sorry for our country and the world.

Speaker Mike Johnson at the Border
Solving the Border Crisis
Johnson’s Letter to Biden
In a statement on social media, Johnson reiterated his message to the president, stating that the House has already passed legislation to address the border crisis but the Senate has failed to take action. He ended his post by appealing to Biden directly, stating, “Border security starts with you. It’s time to take action today to secure the border.”As the debate over border security continues to simmer in Congress, it remains to be seen how the Biden administration will respond to Johnson’s requests. However, with the situation at the southern border reaching critical levels, many are hoping for swift action to address the crisis and protect American citizens.

Rick Scott issues Press Release on Socialists and Biden
Florida Issues Savage Response To Biden’s Socialism
In a move that has sparked controversy and drawn attention, Senator Rick Scott, a Republican from Florida and former governor of the state has issued what he calls a “formal travel advisory for socialists visiting Florida.”Scott’s advisory, released on Tuesday, aims to convey a message that Florida is, in his words, “openly hostile” to socialists and those associated with the Biden Administration.
Scott’s press release asserts that the state of Florida fails to recognize and appreciate the contributions made by socialists and others working in the current administration.
“Let me be clear,” Scott states, “any attempts to spread the oppression and poverty that Socialism always brings will be rebuffed by the people of Florida.” He further warns that endeavors to promote socialism in north Florida will only result in ridicule and laughter.

Ukraine Exposes entire Biden Crime Family
MASSIVE Ukraine Press Release Exposes Entire Biden Crime Family!
The Interfax-Ukraine News Agency (Ukrainian: Інтерфакс-Україна) is a Kyiv-based[1] Ukrainian news agency founded in 1992.[2] The company belongs to the Russian newsgroup Interfax Information Services.[3] The company publishes in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.[3]The company owns a 50-seat press centre.[4] [Wikipedia]
In other words, it’s a real news organization even if you’ve never heard of it here in the USA. And of course, all of this was covered up by our corrupt news media.
And they released an incredibly-detailed 70 minute press conference in December 2020 where they systematically and methodically exposed or threatened to expose all the secrets of the Biden Crime Family. As the main stream media never reported on this, we are featuring it.

Democrat Press Release on Ballot signatures
Democrat Press Release:
JUDGE RULES SIGNATURE MATCH HAS NO STANDARDS.We here in Lake Worth have to use that little pencil with a rubber tip. No one's signature will ever match having to use that device but they have our driver's license right in front of them to confirm. However, those who send in their ballots are 100% responsible for their signature. If their signature has changed, it is up to them to notify the SOE or write it as it is on their driver's license or how it was written when they signed up to vote. It is not the SOE's responsibility to try and figure it all out nor is it the Judge's to change Florida law.
We now have until Saturday at 5 PM.
Judge Rules Signature Matching System Has “No Standards”
A U.S. District Judge has ruled in favor of Senator Bill Nelson’s challenge to the state’s signature matching rules that would have disenfranchised thousands of voters.
In a ruling, Judge Mark Walker (who was nominated by Obama), wrote that the signature match practice was “questionable” and had “no standards” to correct a ballot or challenge its rejection. The ruling gives thousands of voters whose ballots were rejected because the signature on the envelope did not match the signature on the state as on file to cure their ballots. Read more on this victory here.
Before this major ruling, the Washington Post and the New York Times reported on how Florida’s signature matching law could potentially disqualify thousands of Floridians from having their votes counted. The steps Senator Nelson’s campaign have taken will help ensure every lawful vote to be counted.

City of Lake Worth scheduled to Chlorinate the water
Timothy Sloan
Water Plant Manager
561-586-1710
September 17, 2018
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION FOR CITY OF LAKE WORTH TO ALTER WATER CHLORINATION PROCESS
SEPTEMBER 22, 2018 THROUGH OCTOBER 10, 2018
To maintain high water quality in the City of Lake Worth water distribution system, the City of Lake Worth Water Treatment Plant will temporarily change the water chlorination methods for two weeks from September 22, 2018 through October 10, 2018. The City of Lake Worth will also increase hydrant flushing during this time. This is a preventive maintenance process.
Starting September 22, 2018 a “free chlorine residual” water treatment method will be used to provide a stronger, faster acting disinfection process than the “combined chlorine or Chloramines” treatment which is normally used. The City of Lake Worth will revert back to the “combined chlorine” method by October 10, 2018. As part of this process, the City of Lake Worth will be flushing fire hydrants. This flushing will cause temporary water in the swales of the roadways. Please do not be alarmed by this water as it will dissipate within a few hours.
The City of Lake Worth and their Consecutive Systems water utility customers including Hypoluxo Village, John Prince Park, Lantana Cascade and Palm Breezes Club may notice a slight chlorine taste or odor in their tap water during this period; however, these temporary conditions should not cause adverse health effects. Those who are especially sensitive to the taste or odor of chlorine can keep an open container of drinking water in their refrigerators for a few hours to allow the chlorine to dissipate. Users of home dialysis machines, owners of tropical fish, and managers of stores and restaurants with fish and shellfish holding tanks are advised to seek professional advice as the method of removing chlorine residuals differs from removing chloramine residuals from tap water. Any questions should be directed to the City of Lake Worth Water Treatment Plant (561) 586-1710.
Please note, if you have an aquarium or pond always test the water you add to your aquatic environment to be sure it is free of any chlorine, chlorinated water may be toxic to your aquatic environment. Chemical additives with directions are available at pet/fish supply stores for removing either free chlorine or chloramines from water for use in fish tanks or ponds.

WHAT: CITY OF LAKE WORTH CHANGES TO TWO BIN RECYCLING
WHEN: OCTOBER 1, 2018
WHO: ALL RESIDENTS AND VISITORS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Lake Worth, Florida – Starting Oct. 1, residents and businesses in the City of Lake Worth will have two recycling bins instead of one, as the City restarts its partnership with the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (SWA).
The new partnership will have a big impact on making recycling in the City of Lake Worth more sustainable. Lake Worth’s single stream recycling partner had raised the cost of recycling by $90 per ton and regular assessments of single stream recycling showed that over a third of loads were contaminated and unable to be cleanly recycled. By re-partnering with the SWA, the City of Lake Worth will see economic savings as well as benefit from the SWA’s Recycling Revenue Share Program.
Recycling efforts through the SWA go back into the local community as a Revenue Share. Since 2010, local municipalities have shared almost $9.3 million in recycling revenue. Lake Worth will now be a part of this program, and benefit from the sale of recyclables.
The SWA has operated a two-bin recycling system since the late 1980s, keeping paper separated from dirty food and drink containers. This ensures that the paper that is recovered is very clean and has a higher value, while wasting as little as possible.
The City of Lake Worth remains committed to environmentally conscious living. An effective recycling program is an important part of that commitment along with our progressive projects such as our Municipal Solar Energy Field, Low Impact LED lighting, and our continued work with the Southeast National Marine Renewable Energy Center on capturing the energy of the Gulf Stream current. We look forward to partnering with the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County to provide a more efficient and lower cost recycling program to all residents.
Located in central Palm Beach County, Lake Worth is a dynamic, multi-cultural city with an individualistic style. People are drawn to the city by its acceptance of different cultures and lifestyles, historic districts, hip downtown and colorful arts district.

Lake Worth, FL - At 10:58 PM on June 20, 2018, an equipment failure at the point of delivery for Lake Worth Electric Utility’s external power supply caused a system wide outage affecting all of our customers. Lake Worth personnel immediately initiated the power restoration process, called in all available personnel, and began the process of making repairs. The City’s Power Plant was brought on line at 11:40 PM to provide power and by 1:05 AM our System Operations team began restoring power to customers throughout the service territory. Power restoration progressed through the night with all customers being restored to service by 6:15 AM.
The cause of the equipment failure has yet to be determined but the incident will be investigated fully to understand the cause of the equipment failure. Lake Worth Electric Utilities would like to thank all customers for their patience and understanding during this event.
During the electric outage the City's internal computer network server suffered a fault which disabled all phone and email access for City employees. Once power was restored staff worked to repair the fault and the system was restored at 12:55 PM on June 21, 2018.
