New Jersey wrong on banning AR-15's

Third Circuit strikes down New Jersey's AR-15 and magazine bans as unconstitutional

A federal appeals court ruled Friday that New Jersey's decades-old bans on so-called assault firearms and magazines holding more than ten rounds violate the Second Amendment, delivering a 10-5 decision that dismantles two of the most aggressive gun-control measures on the East Coast and sets the stage for a Supreme Court showdown.

The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that New Jersey failed to justify its restrictions under the historical-analogue test the Supreme Court established for evaluating firearms regulations. The state pointed to colonial-era gunpowder storage laws and Bowie knife bans enacted in Western territories. The court was unpersuaded.

U.S. Circuit Judge Arianna Freeman, a Biden appointee who authored the majority opinion, wrote bluntly about the magazine restrictions:
"The text of the Second Amendment covers all magazines, not just magazines that New Jersey considers 'standard capacity."
New Jersey spent thirty-six years telling law-abiding citizens they couldn't own some of the most popular firearms in America. It took the Constitution about thirty-six pages to explain why the state was wrong.

Anatomy of an Operation

Delaney Hall Protest

On the night of June 1, 2026, journalist @NickSortor drove to Delaney Hall expecting what he’d seen for ten straight days: hundreds of protesters surrounding Newark’s 1,000-bed ICE detention facility, human chains blocking federal vehicles, pepper balls and tear gas, helmets and gas masks distributed from organized supply stations, catered meals arriving on schedule.

He found silence. The crowd — 200-plus the night before — was gone, with tens of thousands of dollars in pre-staged gear abandoned in place.

What happened between Sunday morning and Sunday night was a single message in an encrypted Signal group, as discovered by @bitchuneedsoap. A Cosecha NJ communicator posted a six-line announcement: “Cosecha is NOT mobilizing to Delaney Hall tonight. We are talking to strikers and their families to regroup.” No negotiation, no vote, no gradual loss of enthusiasm. Some switch had been flipped off.

The natural question is how a protest of that size can be turned off with one message. The answer is that it was never a protest in the way most people understand the word.

It was an operation — assembled, maintained, and disbanded through an organizational structure that looks, once you map it, like a military deployment with a nonprofit org chart.

Illegals/Criminals complained about food and abuse at Newark Detention Center

Far-left agitators assault federal agents at Newark ICE facility

Sherrill Admits Delaney Hall Protests Drew Outside Agitators

What started as a protest over conditions at Delaney Hall in Newark has turned into something much bigger. The scene outside the ICE detention facility has turned into a loud, messy clash between competing political groups, with state officials now saying outside activists are helping drive the unrest.

The protest picked up steam after detainees wrote an open letter claiming they were being mistreated inside the center. They alleged physical and psychological abuse, along with bad food and a lack of medical care. The Department of Homeland Security pushed back fast, saying the claims did not match what was being served inside. Officials released menus showing detainees receive three meals a day, including items like chicken fajitas and Salisbury steak.

Tensions boiled over earlier in the week when federal agents were reportedly assaulted by agitators. After that, Democrat Gov. Mikie Sherrill ordered the New Jersey State Police to take over security. She said the move was needed to protect demonstrators from what she called an “ICE surge.”

By Saturday, the area around Delaney Hall looked more like a fortified zone than a protest site. Large orange plastic barriers and metal fencing surrounded the building. State officials also said much of the unrest was being fueled by people coming in from outside New Jersey. State Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said five of the six people arrested by state police this week were not from the state.

Hunger Strike at Delaney Hall - Illegals wanted an ethnic menu

Cory Booker Lies About Hunger Strike, DHS Mullin Reveals Illegals Were Demanding Ethnic Food

Democrats have a well-worn routine when it comes to immigration enforcement. Obstruct federal agents at every opportunity. Manufacture confrontations.

Then sprint to the nearest camera and fundraising page, howling about human rights violations that conveniently never hold up to scrutiny. It’s dishonest. It’s calculated. And the American people are catching on.

The latest installment comes courtesy of New Jersey, where a whole circus of Democratic politicians apparently decided that Memorial Day weekend — when most Americans are laying wreaths and remembering the fallen — was prime time to advocate for detained illegal aliens. Priorities, right?

Let’s cut straight to it. Senator Booker told the American public that detainees at Newark’s Delaney Hall facility were on a hunger strike over deplorable conditions. Bold claim. DHS Secretary Mullin didn’t dance around his response: “There is NO hunger strike at Delaney Hall. There are no subprime conditions.” He called the entire spectacle “nothing more than a political stunt by New Jersey sanctuary politicians for fundraising clicks.”

So what was actually happening inside Delaney Hall? A handful of detainees were refusing meals because they wanted different food on the menu. Not a hunger strike. Not a human rights crisis. A cafeteria complaint. You genuinely cannot make this stuff up.

During a cabinet meeting, Secretary Mullin spelled out the situation and delivered the line that deserves to be framed: “They say that it’s because they’re on a hunger strike… because they want their ethnic right food. Well, they can go back to their country and get whatever food they want… this isn’t Holiday Inn.”

New Jersey Democrats put on another show at ICE facility

New Jersey Democrats stage Memorial Day spectacle at Newark ICE facility — and DHS isn't having it

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill showed up at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Newark on Monday and was turned away at the door. Homeland Security called the visit a political stunt. Sherrill called it oversight. The facts suggest something closer to theater.

Sherrill, a Democrat, arrived at Delaney Hall on Memorial Day alongside Sen. Andy Kim and Reps. Rob Menendez Jr., Nellie Pou, and LaMonica McIver, all Democrats, demanding access to the facility amid an ongoing detainee hunger strike and days of protests outside. ICE denied them entry.

A DHS spokesperson told The Hill the visit was "nothing more than a political stunt on Memorial Day when visitation is currently suspended due to riots outside in the facility."

The timing and circumstances tell a story the governor's press releases leave out.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin denied on social media that any hunger strike was taking place and said the facility did not have "subprime conditions." He accused the New Jersey Democrats of "smearing ICE law enforcement."

Big Sweep for Democrats last night

DEMOCRATS AND MUSLIMS WIN THE FOUR ELECTIONS:

NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY, VIRGINIA AND MINNEAPOLIS

Mamdani, who claims to be a Democrat Socialist but actually a Communist, is New York City’s first Muslim Communist mayor, received 50.4 percent of the vote, backed by more than one million voters.

Cuomo, running as an independent, finished second on 41.6 percent with 854,995 votes, while Sliwa, the Republican nominee, placed third with 7.1 percent and 146,137 ballots received.

Democrat Ghazala Hashmi, projected to be Virginia’s lieutenant governor, will become the first Muslim woman elected statewide.

Mikie Sherrill won in New Jersey by a landslide.  Abigail Spanberger also won in Virginia by a landslide.

In Minneapolis, Frey received 42% of first-choice votes. State Sen. Omar Fateh, a Muslim, received 31%; DeWayne Davis, 13%; and Jazz Hampton, 10%.

Girlboss governors have destroyed every state where they have taken power

Democrats Abigail Spanberger (VA) and Mikie Sherrill (NJ)

"On November 4, Virginia and New Jersey will elect new governors. Democrats Abigail Spanberger (VA) and Mikie Sherrill (NJ) are the frontrunners.

They are manchurian candidate clones grown in the DNC.AWFL.PMC.NPC.AI lab. Both position themselves as moderate moms, but are captured by the far left. Both are unable to define what a woman is or commit to banning men from girls’ bathrooms. Both regurgitate the same Kamala-style word salads. Both platforms are copy pasta: orange man bad, abortions good, sanctuary state, climate hysteria, protect LGBTQ+ trans kids. Both pushed masks, school closures, and jab mandates during COVID.

Both are former Congresswomen. Both have masters’ degrees. Both spent time in the military and CIA with suspicious stints at Islamic schools. Both were endorsed by Obama, who filmed videos for both of them wearing the same shirt in the same room. Both have taken donations from CCP-linked groups.

Ironically, Abigail was born in New Jersey while Mikie was born in Virginia. They could swap places tomorrow and nothing would be different. The DNC base will vote for Mikie Spanberger because of the (D) next to her name.

Republicans Jack Ciattarelli (NJ) and Winsome Earle-Sears (VA) can win if Republicans turn out for them the way they do for Trump."

Doctor cheered Charlie Kirk's death

If anyone should have been fired it is Dr. Jung

Nurse Fired After Calling Out Doctor Who Cheered Kirk’s Death

A New Jersey surgeon allegedly “cheered” the assassination of conservative pundit Charlie Kirk — and a nurse who spoke out against the vile act claims she’s been suspended for her objections.

Lexi Kuenzle, a nurse at Englewood Health, filed a lawsuit Friday in Bergen County Superior County Court against the hospital, Dr. Matthew Jung and others claiming she was wrongly fired for calling out the doctor’s vile act on her personal Instagram account.

“[Kuenzle] had the audacity to question how Dr. Jung can comply with the Hippocratic Oath’s and the American Medical Association’s Code of Medical Ethics while celebrating the murder of a non-violent Christian speaker who was on a college campus,” the suit says.
“I hate Charlie Kirk. He had it coming. He deserved it,” the bariatric surgeon allegedly said.

“You’re a doctor. How could you say someone deserved to die?” Kuenzie recalled replying...she was fired!

Unelected Judges interferred with the DOJ

In Washington, the battle lines between those who respect the Constitution and those who bend it has never been more clear

The careful balance of power between our three branches of government faces constant threats from those who prefer politics over principle. When judges start acting like lawmakers, America’s system of checks and balances gets turned upside down.

This power struggle has made a new class of resistance within our court system. Some judges seem more interested in blocking President Trump’s agenda than upholding their oath to the Constitution. Think about that for a minute – unelected judges trying to stop what voters chose at the ballot box! It’s a troubling pattern that threatens the very foundation of our republic.

Now, Attorney General Pam Bondi has drawn a line in the sand after federal judges in New Jersey tried to interfere with the Department of Justice. The judges attempted to remove US Attorney Alina Habba from her position by declining to extend her interim appointment and replacing her with First Assistant US Attorney Desiree Leigh Grace. AG Bondi immediately removed the judge-appointed official, protecting President Trump’s constitutional appointment powers.

Habba was awaiting Senate confirmation when her 120-day term as interim U.S. attorney just expired. Cory Booker and Governor Murphy wanted her out because she brought prosecutions against Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and U.S. Rep. LaMonica McIver, both Democrats.

She also challenged New Jersey State Police over sanctuary policies related to immigration enforcement.

Jack Ciattarelli gets the NJ Governor's endorsement from Local 825

Top Union Sticks Dagger In Democratic Party’s Back As New Jersey Gov Race Heats Up

One of New Jersey’s most influential unions broke ranks Thursday, endorsing Republican Jack Ciattarelli for governor over Democratic Rep. Mikie Sherrill.

The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825, which represents some 8,000 heavy equipment operators, endorsed Ciattarelli as an antidote to the “crisis of common sense” gripping New Jersey under Democratic leadership, citing high energy costs and what it views as an increasingly unworkable green agenda.

“New Jersey is at a crossroads,” Greg Lalevee, the union’s business manager, told the New Jersey Globe. “We face an energy crisis, an affordability crisis and a crisis of common sense … We need a governor who will tackle our challenges and not cave to the fringe political voices. Jack Ciattarelli understands New Jersey and what needs to be done to fix our great state.”

Rep McIver from Blue state New Jersey, charged with assault

New Jersey Representative McIver faces federal charges after ICE facility incident

Acting U.S. Attorney Alina Habba charged Rep. LaMonica McIver under 18 U.S.C. § 111(a)(1) for assaulting, impeding, and interfering with federal agents during an unscheduled protest at a Newark ICE facility.

Body-cam footage shows McIver shoving and striking ICE officers and shouting profanities after she and other Democrats forced their way past law enforcement without arranging an official tour.

The incident underscores deep partisan clashes over immigration oversight—Republicans stress that no one is above the law, while McIver and her allies decry the charges as a political stunt.

Bodycam footage of the riot showed that McIver shoved and hit federal agents during the riot.

She also shouted profanities at ICE officers while threatening to have them fired.

Brazen intimidation of federal law enforcement

Noem DROPS BOMBSHELL on Violent Dem That Attacked Agent

"In a stunning rebuke of the violent actions by New Jersey Democrat lawmakers, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Chief Kristi Noem declared that their assault on ICE agents at a Newark detention facility was not “oversight” but the commission of felonies.

Speaking to Fox News host Jesse Watters, Noem condemned the Democrats’ behavior, stating, “We had members of Congress assaulting law enforcement officers. They were cooperating with criminals to create criminal acts and then they are saying that they were providing oversight. This wasn’t oversight, this was committing felonies.”

The shocking bodycam footage reveals Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically attacking federal agents, shouting, “I touch whoever I want motherfcker!”* while another ICE agent was reportedly bodyslammed by a member of Congress.

Despite this blatant lawlessness, the liberal media has largely ignored the story, refusing to hold these Democrats accountable for their violent assault on federal law enforcement."

Alina Habba launches investigation into New Jersey officials

Alina Habba just announced an investigation that let Democrats know Tom Homan means business

:Nearly 400 local law enforcement agencies across the United States have signed up to help Tom Homan carry out Donald Trump’s mass deportation program.

But a handful of Democrats in sanctuary states and cities are working to protect illegal aliens from being arrested.

That’s why Alina Habba just announced an investigation that let Democrats know Tom Homan means business.

But acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Alina Habba, just put Murphy and Platkin on notice that they will be held accountable under the law.

“The Governor has on his website, currently, dos and don’ts for his local state law enforcement,” she said. “Those dos and don’ts instruct them not to cooperate with illegal immigrants who have administrative warrants that have been issued by the court, after due process, saying that they are no longer welcome here,” she continued. “They have gone through the court system.”

“Let me be clear: Executive Orders will be followed and enforced in the State of New Jersey,” she wrote.

The Insanity in Blue States

Declaring there are only two sexes is 'unprecedented times' for fearful, trans-friendly city

Donald Trump’s overwhelming election victory was viewed by many as a national mandate to bring back common sense and normalcy, but the other side is proving it has not surrendered yet.

In one eye-opening example, New Jersey hospital system Inspira is handing out a questionnaire that asks about the “sexual orientation and gender identify” of…newborn babies.

Since a newborn is hours old and years away from reading and writing, parents are presumably expected to fill in the oval for “Lesbian or Gay,” “Straight or heterosexual,” or “Bisexual.”

A spokesman for Inspira says the form is required by a state law that says health care providers must collect information on the “race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity” of patients, which includes newborn babies, too.

New Jersey Assemblyman calls John Kirby "an idiot"

John Kirby Destroyed After BS Drone Briefing: ‘He’s an IDIOT!’

A New Jersey state legislator did not hold back when criticizing White House spokesman John Kirby’s response to a question about the recent drone wave over the Garden State.

Republican State Assemblyman Brian Bergen slammed Kirby, calling him an “idiot” after the spokesman claimed that the drones were “manned aircraft being operated lawfully.” During a segment on “America Reports,” co-host John Roberts asked Bergen about Kirby’s statement, to which the assemblyman responded, “That guy is an idiot. That I can tell you right now.”

Bergen, a former Apache helicopter pilot and member of the New Jersey state legislature, went on to say that the state police colonel had informed members of the legislature that one of their helicopters had to land because they felt unsafe due to a six-foot wide drone hovering above them. He also noted that he had seen the drones in his own community and expressed frustration with the lack of action being taken to address the issue.

The Assemblyman compared the drone sightings to the 2023 incident involving a Chinese spy balloon that flew over the United States and was shot down off the coast of South Carolina. He reiterated the need for swift action and called on authorities to track down the source of the drones before it’s too late.

Iran behind the drones hovering in New Jersey skies?

Iran’s new massive drone ship left home port last month – and went weeks without being spotted

A newly minted and massive Iranian drone carrier was captured in new satellite images sailing in the Persian Gulf this week — the ship’s first reported sighting since leaving its home port for the first time in mid-November.

The satellite images taken Thursday by commercial operator Maxar Technologies shows three Iranian drone ships in the waters off the country’s coast as theories have swirled in the US that Iran could be behind the mysterious drone sightings across the tri-state area, according to Business Insider.

Iran’s new carrier — the Shahid Bagheri — is a converted shipping container that was outfitted to support drone operations and was last seen on Nov. 12, when it was captured by satellite imagery sitting in Bandar Abbas.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) claimed to Fox News on Wednesday morning that the drones were possibly being launched by Iran, citing confidential sources. He just might have something there!

Drones over New Jersey -

DHS, FBI Say ‘No Evidence’ Suggests Drone Sightings Pose National Security Threat

Since mid-November, large aerial drones have been spotted at night throughout central and northern New Jersey

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) issued a joint statement on Thursday suggesting that the drone sightings in areas like New Jersey do not pose a national security threat based on current evidence.

“We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus,” the statement said.

The two organizations said that they will be working closely with local and state police to “confirm whether the reported drone flights are actually drones or are instead manned aircraft or otherwise inaccurate sightings.”

The statement further noted that some drone sightings in the past have been cases of mistaken identity or may have been manned aircraft. As Breitbart News reported on Thursday, the Pentagon denied claims that alleged drone sightings over areas like New Jersey are foreign-controlled while also denying they are controlled by the U.S. military.

“The Pentagon has stated that the mystery drones flying over parts of New Jersey and the northeast U.S. in recent weeks are not controlled by the U.S. military but also not believed to be controlled by foreign entities,” noted the report. “Despite these claims, the Pentagon can’t say just who actually is in control of the drones causing havoc and concern along the Atlantic coast.”

Read more about drones...

I find it incredulous that DHS, FAA and the FBI are clueless. Any drone in the U.S. weighing more than 0.55 pounds must be registered with the FAA and can be easily tracked with GPS technology. Nearly 800,000 drones are registered in the U.S., according to the FAA. These drones are reportedly as large as a car.
