Then Nancy Pelosi told a female reporter to shut up twice – on camera – and Cooper found something else to do. LindellTV reporter Alison Steinberg walked up to Nancy Pelosi on Capitol Hill Thursday and asked her why she turned the National Guard away on January 6, 2021. Pelosi cut her off before she finished the sentence.

"I'll tell you to shut up again because you're speaking lies," Pelosi snapped.

Steinberg pressed forward, showing Pelosi footage from their first confrontation – the October 2025 exchange where Pelosi had screamed "shut up" at her the first time.

The left's silence on Pelosi isn't about inconsistency. It's about what Pelosi is being asked.

Because if the National Guard question gets a real answer – one that isn't screaming – then Democrats lose the January 6 narrative they've spent five years and tens of millions of dollars building.

President Trump and First Lady Melania showed up for the premiere of Melania, the documentary that follows the 20 days before his second inauguration. The red carpet was busy and the cameras were rolling, which means the press was ready to lob questions that needed answering.

The film has sparked attention because of the big money involved and the usual media circus followed every step of the way. Reporter Opens with the Money Question.

A New York Times reporter walked up with the predictable question about Amazon paying to acquire the movie. The reporter claimed large sums were spent to make and market the film and wanted Trump to react to Amazon’s reported purchase amount.

It is the kind of gotcha moment the press likes when a big check gets mentioned and the obvious follow up is whether the payment is fair or political.

When the reporter pressed, Trump did not play along. He interrupted to ask who was asking the question and then dismissed that outlet as Fake News.

It was classic Trump style: blunt, not polite, and aimed at taking the air out of the room. He made it clear he recognized the theater of questions and refused to be boxed into a scripted answer.

Karoline Leavitt battles Reporter's Accusation About Trump's Middle East Trip

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt pushed back strongly Friday against a reporter’s suggestion that President Donald Trump might be personally profiting from his upcoming trip to the Middle East. The exchange occurred during the daily White House briefing when a reporter asked if Trump would be meeting with individuals connected to his business ventures during the visit.

“You noted he is a successful businessman,” the reporter began, before asking whether Trump had plans to meet with people linked to future Trump resort developments in the region. Leavitt quickly dismissed the idea, replying, “Not to my knowledge,” and then addressed what she described as the "premise" of the question.

“I think it’s frankly ridiculous that anyone in this room would even suggest that President Trump is doing anything for his own benefit,” she said. “He left a life of luxury, and a life of running a very successful real estate empire for public service — not just once but twice.”

Leavitt insisted that Trump had actually lost money while serving as president, and pointed to his reelection as a sign of trust from the American public. “The American public reelected him back to this White House because they trust he acts in the best interests of our country and putting the American public first.”

She closed with a jab at former President Joe Biden, saying, “I don’t remember these same types of questions being asked of my predecessor — a career politician who was clearly profiting off of this office.” Leavitt concluded by asserting that the Trump administration holds itself to “the highest ethical standards.”

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt scoffed at a reporter’s suggestion that President Donald Trump is against peaceful protests that are opposed to his agenda during Wednesday’s briefing.

Jasmine Wright, a politics reporter for NOTUS, asked Leavitt to “clarify” the types of protests that Trump supports after he warned that any protests at the upcoming military parade would be met with “very big force.” The press secretary said that Trump supports the First Amendment and peaceful protest.

“Can you clarify what kind of protest President Trump does support or find acceptable?” Wright asked. “The president absolutely supports peaceful protest, he supports the First Amendment, he supports the right of Americans to make their voices heard,” Leavitt said.

“He does not support violence of any kind, he does not support assaulting law enforcement officers who are simply trying to do their job. It is very clear to the president what he supports and what he does not.

Unfortunately for Democrats, that line has not been made clear and they’ve allowed this unrest and this violence to continue and the president has had to step in.”

After initial public relations shots on the tarmac of Philadelphia International Airport with local politician and media personalities alike, one reporter posed a provocative question to the well-being of the President, but did not receive a direct answer. Instead, the 81-year old Biden resorted to patronizing behavior and accused the reporter of having some form of ailment.

Biden exasperatedly replied: “Are you OK? Are you all right?” before repeating the question twice more, clearly attempting to deflect and mock the reporter in a pathetic display of denial. Turning his back on the gaggle of reporters, underbreath chatter and giggles can be heard from other media handlers present. Classy.

The Russians just smacked our State Department right across the mouth.

Our diplomats requested to see jailed Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich.

He was arrested for espionage, even though the Russians have yet to produce a single shred of evidence of his guilt.

The request was denied, dealing Secretary Antony Blinken and this administration another foreign policy blow.

This move by the Russians was a direct response to the United States blocking Russian reporters from accompanying Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to the United Nations. Lavrov added:

A country that calls itself the strongest, smartest, free and fair country has chickened out and done something stupid by showing what its sworn assurances about protecting freedom of speech and access to information are really worth.”
