So the American company settles, not because they're guilty, but because the game is rigged in favor of whoever is financing the case. The foreign funder collects a cut of the settlement and wires the money out of the country.

Hunter Biden has reportedly left the United States and is now living abroad while facing mounting financial troubles, according to a new court filing.

The disclosure comes as the president’s son is said to be struggling with massive debt and ongoing legal battles that have drained his finances. Living Overseas.

A legal filing submitted by his attorney states that Hunter Biden now lives outside the United States.

The document did not specify his exact location. However, he has previously been seen spending time in South Africa.

He still owes the money, regardless of where he lives and creditors might still pursue international legal action.

Pentagon to Cut Academic Ties With Harvard, Hegseth Says

The secretary of war said the Ivy League school promotes ideology misaligned with military values

Hegseth said the Pentagon would discontinue graduate-level professional military education, fellowships, and certificate programs with the Ivy League school beginning in the 2026-27 academic year for active duty service members.

This policy will apply to service members enrolling in future courses, while military personnel already enrolled at Harvard will still be allowed to finish their courses, according to the Pentagon chief.

“For too long, this department has sent our best and brightest officers to Harvard, hoping the university would better understand and appreciate our warrior class,” he said in a statement.

“Instead, too many of our officers came back looking too much like Harvard — heads full of globalist and radical ideologies that do not improve our fighting ranks.”

Hegseth said Harvard is no longer a welcoming institution for military personnel, citing its partnership with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on campus research programs and a campus culture he said enabled attacks on Jewish students and “promotes discrimination based on race in violation of Supreme Court decisions.”

Court Victory for Critics: On January 22, 2026, a judge ordered the state to turn over public records related to the facility within 21 days following a lawsuit by the Friends of the Everglades.

Continued Legal Battles: A major appellate hearing to decide if the facility must be shut down for environmental reviews is scheduled for April 2026.

Christopher McVoy, Ph. D., is an Everglades science expert, member of the board of Friends of the Everglades and part of this lawsuit. He is an elected commissioner in the City of Lake Worth Beach.

Judge cancels court deadlines in Trump’s 2020 election case after his presidential win

The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s 2020 election interference case canceled any remaining court deadlines Friday while prosecutors assess the “the appropriate course going forward” in light of the Republican’s presidential victory.

Special Counsel Jack Smith charged Trump last year with plotting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and illegally hoarding classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

But Smith’s team has been evaluating how to wind down the two federal cases before the president-elect takes office because of longstanding Justice Department policy that says sitting presidents cannot be prosecuted, a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press.

Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris means that the Justice Department believes he can no longer face prosecution in accordance with department legal opinions meant to shield presidents from criminal charges while in office.

In a court filing Friday in the 2020 election case, Smith’s team asked to cancel any upcoming court deadlines, saying it needs “time to assess this unprecedented circumstance and determine the appropriate course going forward consistent with Department of Justice policy.”

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan quickly granted the request, and ordered prosecutors to file court papers with their “proposed course for this case” by Dec. 2.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk won the backing of shareholders Thursday in his fight to reclaim a $56 billion pay package voided by a Delaware judge who ruled the record-breaking compensation was excessive.

Shareholders voted in favor of restoring the package they approved in 2018, Brandon Ehrhart, Tesla’s general counsel and board secretary, announced onstage at the company’s annual shareholder meeting. He did not announce the vote totals.

The crowd at the meeting in Austin, Texas, cheered after the announcement, according to the livestream of the event.

Sidney Powell, a lawyer who filed lawsuits after the 2020 election, got a win in Texas after an appeals court ruled that the Texas bar did not prove that she engaged in misconduct or fraud.

A panel of judges on the Fifth District of Texas Court of Appeals in Dallas ruled Wednesday that the state bar’s arguments lacked merit and evidence.

They found that state bar prosecutors “employed a ’scattershot’ approach to the case” that had alleged Ms. Powell did not have a reasonable basis to file lawsuits that challenged the 2020 election’s outcome in battleground states.

Voting tech company ‘Smartmatic’ has just come under fire, as new details have emerged on a huge controversy. The company is now facing money laundering charges from the Department of Justice (DOJ) against four executives. Now, former Filipino election official Andres Bautista has been accused of being involved in a bribery scheme with Smartmatic.

These individuals are accused of transferring $4 million to former Filipino election official Andres Bautista “in violation of US money laundering laws.”

It is reported that Bautista was given $199 million in contracts for almost 100,000 voting machines and tabulation services for Philippine Presidential elections back in 2016.

According to the Justice Department filing, Smartmatic executives allegedly used "slush funds," "fake contracts," and fake email accounts to take in bribes under the code word "salsa."

This drama only intensifies when Fox News and other associates were sued by Smartmatic itself over such accusations made against them during the aftermath of the 2020 presidential race.

And Smartmatic has sued everyone: Newsmax, Fox News, OAN, several individual Fox hosts, former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, and others.

Judge REJECTS Biden’s DOJ in Trump WITCH HUNT

A federal judge rejected an effort by the Justice Department to prevent Donald Trump from sitting for a deposition,

in a case related to lawsuits filed by former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

President Joe Biden’s DOJ was attempting to prevent former President Donald Trump from giving depositions in a pair of lawsuits “to determine whether he met with and directly pressured FBI and Justice Department officials to fire Strzok or urged any White House aides to do so,” NBC News reported last week.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson issued her order in response to the Justice Department’s request for the court to reconsider a previous ruling permitting Strzok’s attorneys to proceed with a deposition of Trump in the lawsuits brought against the Justice Department and FBI by Strzok and Lisa Page in 2019.

825 Sunset Drive - 12 years later

The Sunset property at 825 Sunset Drive has been in limbo since 2005. That's when I joined the Political Action Committee, Save Our Neighborhood, my first involvement in Lake Worth politics.

The Pac collected over 3,000 signatures city wide wanting the single family zoning kept in place. Former Lake Worth city attorney Larry Karns refused to forward the petitions to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections for verification citing a State Statute that you could not petition on less than 5 acres even though it was he who approved our petition. A battle in the circuit court then ensued between Save Our Neighborhood, Inc. and the City. Save Our Neighborhood won its case in the circuit court, but the decision was challenged by the City of Lake Worth. Even then the city was going against its citizens, favoring a developer just like it did on the Heights Amendment in recent years. The Sunset case moved up the judicial ladder into the Appellate court which then overturned the Circuit Court's decision.

In a special meeting held on August 25, 2009, the Lake Worth City Commission voted to repeal two city ordinances that would have allowed MF 20 zoning (20 units per acre) into the single family Lake Osborne Heights neighborhood. The commission consisted of Commissioners Cara Jennings, Commissioner Retha Lowe, Mayor Jeff Clemens, Commissioner Joanne Golden and Commissioner Suzanne Mulvehill. The undeveloped 4.02 acre property that was the subject of the commission's action reverted to its previous zoning of “County Agricultural” (five units per acre). Zoning is all political.

So, 12 years later, we still are in limbo with the property. The owner threatened a Bert J. Harris lawsuit. We all were in mediation for a few years and nothing ever was resolved.  The property lanquishes and Code never does a thing about the condition of this property. Only the raccoons, snakes and possums enjoy it. So, 12 years later, it looks like this:
