How CBP Caught a Wildlife Smuggler at the Laredo Border Crossing

On March 5, CBP officers at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo ran outbound operations on a 2021 Peterbilt tractor headed into Mexico.

The driver gave a negative declaration for prohibited goods. Officers searched the truck anyway. Inside, they found 39 pythons – each one sealed in its own fabric bag, alive but in poor condition from the transport.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service agents took custody of the snakes and moved them to a controlled environment.

CBP seized the tractor and trailer. The driver was hit with $34,824 in export violation penalties.

Reptiles account for roughly 70% of all exotic pet seizures at U.S. ports of entry, and CBP's Hidalgo port director said flatly that exotic pet smuggling is on the rise in South Texas.

Chaos erupted in Minneapolis, in Tampon Tim's state, on Tuesday as federal agents executed court-authorized raids on two Taqueria y Birrieria las Cuatro Milpas locations, uncovering a massive drug smuggling, labor trafficking, and money laundering operation.

Yet, instead of applauding law enforcement for dismantling a dangerous criminal enterprise, far-left agitators descended on the scene, hurling abuse at officers and even physically assaulting them. The violent response from these radicals highlights the left’s growing hostility toward law and order—a trend that has only worsened under weak liberal leadership.

While federal agents carried out their duties, leftist protestors attempted to block the lawful operation, screaming at officers and disrupting the scene. One individual even assaulted a federal agent, proving yet again that the far-left has no respect for the rule of law.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, a Democrat notorious for his soft-on-crime policies, issued a milquetoast statement attempting to downplay the severity of the situation. Frey claimed the operation was “not related to immigration enforcement,” but his words ring hollow as ICE itself confirmed this was a “groundbreaking criminal operation” targeting “drug smuggling to criminal labor trafficking.”

Abrego Garcia Returned to US to Face Criminal Charges

MS-13 gangbanger Kilmar Abrego Garcia entered a Tennessee courtroom in chains hours after he was returned to US soil from El Salvador to face charges of trafficking thousands of illegal immigrants — his “full-time job” for years, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Friday.

“He was a smuggler of humans and children and women” — including members of the murderous prison gang he belonged to, the AG said at a press conference announcing the federal charges.

“One hundred trips, the grand jury found, of smuggling people throughout our country,” Bondi said.

Co-conspirators also alleged that Abrego Garcia solicited nude photos of a minor, abused women he was transporting — and was involved in the murder of a rival gang member’s mother, Bondi said.
