No "hitman in a porno movie," Dan Crenshaw, war hero, won his house seat in Texas.

"Being mocked on Saturday Night Live for wearing an eye patch, an eye he lost while serving our country, didn’t hurt—and may have helped— Texas Republican Dan Crenshaw, a retired Navy SEAL and political newcomer who easily won Tuesday his House race." [Washington Times]

Mr. Crenshaw was declared the winner with 53.1 percent of the vote, besting Democrat Todd Litton, who had 45.38%.
