US Strikes Drug-Carrying Boat from Venezuela, Killing 11 Tren de Aragua ‘Narcoterrorists’

President Donald Trump on Tuesday released dramatic video showing a U.S. military strike that destroyed a small boat carrying narcotics and alleged members of the Tren de Aragua gang off the coast of Venezuela.

The video, shared by Trump on Truth Social, captured a missile strike that obliterated the vessel, which erupted into flames in international waters. Trump said 11 narco-terrorists were killed in the operation.

“No U.S. Forces were harmed in this strike,” Trump wrote. “Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE!”

A Democrat judge in New Mexico has resigned after authorities found an alleged member of the violent Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela living in his home, and now the state Supreme Court has ruled he'll never be a judge again.

And can never be a candidate for a judicial office. And can never exercise any judicial authority Not even officiate at weddings.

A Fox News report confirms that order has come from the high court in the case of Joel Cano.

Cano, the ruling said, "can never hold a judicial office again, be a candidate for a judicial office, and cannot exercise any judicial authority in the state, including officiating at weddings," according to an official for the state court system.

The high court shunned normal procedure in blocking the removals, Justice Samuel Alito said in a dissent joined by Justice Clarence Thomas

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito filed a strongly worded dissent from the court’s order issued early April 19 that temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deporting alleged members of the Venezuelan criminal gang Tren de Aragua.

The dissenting opinion, which was joined by Justice Clarence Thomas, was posted on the court’s website early on April 20.

“In sum, literally in the middle of the night, the Court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support for its order, and without providing any explanation for its order,” Alito wrote.

“I refused to join the Court’s order because we had no good reason to think that, under the circumstances, issuing an order at midnight was necessary or appropriate.”

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court on Friday to allow it to invoke the Alien Enemies Act to carry out swift deportations.

The emergency application marks the first time the high court has been asked to get involved in the high-profile case after U.S. District Judge James Boasberg issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) blocking deportation flights under the rarely invoked, 18th-century statute.

“This case presents fundamental questions about who decides how to conduct sensitive national-security-related operations in this country—the President, through Article II, or the Judiciary, through TROs," acting Solicitor General Sarah Harris wrote in the application. “The Constitution supplies a clear answer: the President. The republic cannot afford a different choice,” she continued.”

ICE Arrests 68 More Tren de Aragua Gang Members

Federal authorities arrested 68 members of the notorious gang Tren De Aragua this week, according to a new report from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

“In less than 100 days, the Trump Administration has arrested 394 members of the Tren De Aragua—a vicious gang known for human trafficking, kidnapping, drug trafficking, and other heinous acts terrorizing American communities,” DHS stated.

“Tren De Aragua is a terrorist organization whose members are rapists, drug traffickers, and murderers. We will continue to make sure these dirtbags are removed from America’s streets and face justice,” said a DHS spokesperson.

A suspected member of the bloodthirsty Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua was arrested in Homestead, Florida, for illegally possessing a firearm.

Luis Ernesto Veliz Riera, a 24-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela, was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents last month for having a handgun with a 30-round magazine in his hotel room.

Federal prosecutors charged him with possessing a firearm as an illegal alien.

Homestead, Florida police arrested him in October 2024 after they pulled him over during a traffic stop and discovered that he had two outstanding warrants in Illinois for burglary and retail theft.

Riera was placed in a detention facility for illegal aliens in Miami-Dade County.

ICE officials then released him back onto the streets despite being a suspected criminal and gang member under a policy by the Biden administration.

A federal judge temporarily blocked President Trump on Saturday from invoking the 18th century Alien Enemies Act to swiftly deport alleged Venezuelan gang members without a hearing – ordering any flights carrying the supposed criminals to turn around.

US District judge James Boasberg quickly ordered the Trump administration to halt all removals after the commander in chief signed off on a presidential action invoking the 1798 law – aimed at targeting Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua, The Washington Post reported.

The chief judge in the District of Columbia said he heard that “flights are actively departing” and directed US officials to have planes in the air carrying migrants returned to the United States, the outlet reported.

“Any plane containing these folks that is going to take off or is in the air needs to be returned to the United States however that is accomplished,” Boasberg reportedly wrote.
