Spencer Pratt's ally in his reckless negligence lawsuit

Spencer Pratt teams up with unlikely ally to take on Karen Bass over LA fires

Former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt is taking his legal battle over deadly wildfires to a new level.

Pratt’s relentless criticism of Mayor Karen Bass and her failures during the California wildfires that destroyed countless homes, including his own, has added a surprising ally in his lawsuit against the city.

“I am proud to be teaming up with Karen Bass’ brother in suing his sister for her reckless negligence that led to the destruction of our homes,” Pratt announced in a social media post on Sunday.

Karen Bass breaks formal commitment to debate in Mayoral Forum

Karen Bass backs out of Los Angeles mayoral forum after signing commitment to attend

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass withdrew from a televised mayoral candidate forum scheduled for May 13 on FOX 11, just two weeks after she signed a document confirming she would be there.

The forum's co-sponsors, the League of Women Voters and the Pat Brown Institute for Public Affairs, announced the pullout publicly and made clear they were not happy about it.

The withdrawal drew sharp criticism from organizers, who said voters deserved to see Bass face her opponents on live television during what they called "a period of extraordinary challenges" for the city. Her campaign offered a scheduling conflict as the reason. The timeline tells a different story.

Bass confirmed her attendance on April 22 by signing a formal commitment form for the 2026 Mayoral Candidate Forum. Organizers even posted a photograph of the signed document on Instagram.

Then, on May 7, her campaign pulled the plug, not because of a conflict flagged earlier, but with a blunt message relayed through a campaign consultant: they were "done with debates."

Trump delivers on deportation promise despite violent Democrat resistance

DHS Just Exposed One Ugly Reality Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass Can’t Hide

California's sanctuary state policies turned Los Angeles into a criminal safe haven

For years, Democrat politicians protected violent illegal aliens instead of American citizens.

And DHS just exposed one ugly reality Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass can't hide. The Department of Homeland Security announced that federal agents have arrested more than 10,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles since June 2025 despite fierce resistance from California's Democrat leadership.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin laid the blame directly at the feet of California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for allowing murderers, rapists, and kidnappers to roam the streets.

The California legislature enacted measures attempting to restrict federal agents from carrying out immigration enforcement arrests at schools, hospitals, and courthouses.

They even passed a law banning ICE agents from wearing masks during operations. Newsom signed both bills into law in a clear message that California would fight Trump's immigration enforcement every step of the way.

Defending Law and Order in a lawless city

Trump Snaps At Press, Exposes Paid Protesters

As leftist rioters and foreign invaders wreak havoc in Los Angeles, President Donald Trump has taken decisive action to restore order, deploying the National Guard and 700 Marines to quell the violent uprising.

Meanwhile, California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom and failed LA Mayor Karen Bass have shamelessly blamed the federal government for the chaos, even filing a lawsuit to stop Trump’s lawful intervention. But the President isn’t backing down—he’s exposing the truth about the paid agitators and the liberal media’s complicity in the destruction.

Upon returning to Washington, President Trump spoke to reporters at Joint Base Andrews, making it clear that without federal troops, Los Angeles would be in flames. “If we didn’t send them in, Los Angeles would be burning down right now, just like the houses burned down,” he said, referencing the devastating wildfires earlier this year. When pressed on whether military involvement could escalate tensions, Trump fired back, “It can only go right. By having the military, it de-escalates.”

The President didn’t hold back in calling out the rioters for what they truly are—“agitators, troublemakers, and insurrectionists.” He revealed shocking details about their tactics, stating, “I watched them breaking up the sidewalks with a big hammer, handing pieces of the concrete to other people.” This wasn’t some spontaneous protest; it was a coordinated attack by professionals.

“Somebody is paying for that. I watched total professionals. He’s banging the curb, banging the granite, banging the concrete. And he had a whole group of people—they lined up like totally professional—grabbed the big chunks, and they dropped it on the soldiers. They dropped it on the Los Angeles Police.”

Tom Homan asking DOJ to prosecute Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom

Gov. Gavin Newsom, LA Mayor Karen Bass could face federal charges over response to ICE raids

Says Trump’s border czar Tom Homan

"California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass could both face federal charges over their response to ICE raids in the city, President Trump’s border czar Tom Homan has warned.

As violence tore apart sections of downtown LA, Compton and the suburb of Paramount, the administration has accused the Golden State Dems of fueling tensions, which exploded in riots on Saturday.

“Someone is going to lose their life,” Homan warned, speaking to NBC News.

He said that he has not ruled out asking the Department of Justice to prosecute the elected officials for allegedly having a role in fomenting the anti-ICE riots."
