President Trump's Tax Returns
New York's attorney general, Congress and Democrats have been going "bananas" over the Release of President Trump's tax returns. The Supreme Court has this case in front of them at this time. They will decide if President Trump must turn over eight years of tax returns and other financial records to
Democratic-led House committees and New York City prosecutors.
Presidential Tax Returns
Individual income tax returns
— including those of public figures — are private information,
protected by law from unauthorized disclosure. Indeed, the Internal
Revenue Service is barred from releasing any taxpayer information
whatsoever, except to authorized agencies and individuals.
Like all other citizens, U.S. presidents enjoy this protection of their privacy. In 1974, Richard Nixon voluntarily release his return. Now most presidents and some vice presidents as well as candidates have chosen to release their returns publicly. The exception was Gerald Ford.
President Trump can release them; he doesn't want to. That should be the end of the story. But Democrats are pitbulls.

Obama won't be called in front of Judiciary Committee
Republican Senator Says He Will NOT Call Obama to Testify in Obamagate Scandal
With all of the details that we’re learning about the Russian hoax and spying AKA Obamagate, one would think that it’s time to question former President Barack Obama, but Graham, who is Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee says he’s not planning on doing it.Read about it...
Obama was behind the unmasking of Flynn or condoned it and his cohorts leaked it and ruined Flynn's life. People need to be held accountable for this illegal investigation of Flynn and an incoming president they wanted to get rid of by hook or by crook. I want to see all of these actors appear before the Judiciary Committee and testify under oath.

Federal response to COVID-19 is a financial fiasco
Several weeks ago, I and millions of others began receiving $1,200 from the federal government — which I had neither requested or needed. I am donating most of mine to various food banks. (What a wonderful guy)
Now I get a letter from President Donald Trump taking credit for the “gift” even though all he did is sign the bill. To top it off, the letter was delivered by the U.S. Postal Service (at a loss, I’m sure), an agency he deems fit to abolish because it is not making a profit.
Meanwhile, here in Florida, hundreds of thousands of unemployed workers have been waiting months for their $275 per week checks. This is a fiasco that our kids, grandkids and great-grandkids will be paying for for most of their lives.

Judge in Flynn case issues Order
Judge refuses to dismiss Flynn’s case, yet, solicits 3rd party input; attorneys fire back immediately
In effect, the judge is refusing to dismiss the case after federal prosecutors moved to withdraw its charges and Flynn has withdrawn his guilty plea — Sullivan had already accepted Flynn’s initial plea. On Tuesday, Flynn’s legal team moved to have the case dismissed “immediately.”Read about the Judge

Opening our Beach - Commission Meeting of last night
"If you want to get sun, do it in front of your house," says Commissioner Hardy
Continually instilling fear and in total disagreement with the State of Florida as well as Palm Beach County, Commissioner Hardy dominated the conversation once again. At 6:51 into the meeting, he made a motion not to open the beach at this time. Herman seconded it for discussion. Hardy wanted to shut down the conversation and didn't even want to hear staff's presentation. He did not want our beach opened at all or at any time soon.
Hardy doesn't even want people to be allowed to enter the ocean to swim. The experts agree that while waterborne transmission of the novel coronavirus may be possible, it’s highly unlikely. Hardy made it clear that our residents are not a priority nor are our tenants at the beach or any of our merchants downtown. I guess scientists should run our country and not we the people.
Staff Proposal for Phase One is the one I believe the commission is approving at the moment, at least as far as parking is concerned. The Palm Beach County order will prevail.
For some trivia: On November 5, 2002, a bond referendum was passed by the voters of Palm Beach County in the amount of $50 million. On October 17, 2006, the Parks and Recreation Department Palm Beach County approved an Interlocal Agreement with Lake Worth for $5 mil from the Recreational and Cultural Bond. That agreement fell through because the County insisted that Lake Worth match it with $3,620,800. A new agreement was drawn and the new agreement included no matching money. This new agreement was signed in 2010. The stipulation was that we had to have 613 parking spaces for the public. Former Commissioner Cara Jennings saved 50 spaces for resident decal parking over and above that amount for a total of 663 spaces at our beach.
After the presentation, Hardy made a motion with 3 amendments, all failed. The 3rd motion made by Commissioner Maxwell passed on a 4/1...to open our beach--"Motion made by Commissioner Maxwell and seconded by Vice Mayor Amoroso to approve the phased in approach outlined by the City Manager and giving City Manager Bornstein the complete authority to take any action to mirror the County and to take any action he deemed necessary at his discretion.
I have to wonder what will happen if the County wants all parking spaces to open and the city decides to have less. Can the city actually make a tighter requirement based on the agreement of the bond money we received?

Trump abruptly ends White House presser after CBS News reporter Weijia Jiang cries victim
I have never seen such a rude Press Corp as the one that has been in place ever since President Trump became president. How dare these punks question our President in such a disrespectful manner? And it is high time that the President end these confrontations with the Fake News Media. He has better things to do with his time than constantly defend his positions to biased news.Read about it...

Special Commission on Beach Re-Opening
BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION:
On March 20, 2020, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order (EO) 20-70 directing the
closure of beaches in Palm Beach County. In his subsequent EO 20-90, the Governor
provided the authority to the Palm Beach County Administrator to enforce, relax, modify
or remove the closure of beaches in Palm Beach County (subject to the parameters set
for in EO 20-70).
On May 8, 2020, the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) considered the issue of re-opening the beaches. Subject to a follow-up meeting on May 15th, the BCC voted to re-open the beaches in Palm Beach County on May 18th with certain restrictions (i.e., Palm Beach County residents only; no beach concessions provided; and, consistent with the parameters of EO 20-70).
In anticipation of the BCC’s follow-up meeting on May 15th, City staff has prepared a plan for re-opening the City’s beach (including the re-opening of the tenants’ businesses at the beach and parking). The plan will be presented to the City Commission for its consideration. City staff seeks official action from the City Commission (motion and vote) on the beach re-opening plan and possible input to the BCC for their follow-up meeting.
