Even Minneapolis has had enough!

Minneapolis Residents Decide the Fate of Police Department After Calls 'Defund the Police'

The radical left has been screaming to defund our nation’s police departments for months. The Vice President of the United States boasted of “reimagining policing”. Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been central to this crazy push to demonize and defund law enforcement.

Two Minneapolis City Council Members, vocal advocates for defunding the Minneapolis Police Department, were ousted from their chairs. Two other defund the police council members managed to win in their districts, but in closer-than-expected final outcomes.

However, Minneapolis voters handed down an even more emphatic outcome. Overwhelming, voters hammered down a council proposal to “redefine policing.” A proposed charter amendment wanted to erase the city’s police department and replace it with a “public safety agency.”

Minneapolis voted 57 percent to 43 percent with 94 percent reporting to keep the police department in place, despite some nationwide calls among protesters that larger police departments should be defunded.

Read about it...

Minneapolis rejected the false "systemic racism" label since George Floyd and the riots that occurred across our country that destroyed businesses and property in the billions.

Report: "2020 Antifa/BLM-Led Riots Injured More Police Officers, Caused More Damage, and Resulted in More Arrests Than The Capitol Riot. “The summer 2020 riots resulted in some 15 times more injured police officers, 30 times as many arrests, and estimated damages in dollar terms up to 1,300 times more costly than those of the Capitol riot,” RealClearInvestigations noted in their analysis" [legalinsurrection]
