Lake Worth Beach and Casino

Everything was hot yesterday morning,
 even the beautiful Atlantic.

And our fabulous Lake Worth Casino
I didn't see any cops and everything seemed serene and perfect.

The beach is beautiful, we do love it, but it is not perfect!

The things that piss me off are that soon all the snowbirds will be back taking all our decal parking spots, so unfair. Plus I think decal should have a time limit, it is not fair that so many employees of Mulligan's and the other stores park in decal parking taking 6-8 hours there, they should put a time limit on decal like 3-4 hours total, it is so abused, the employees should have to park in the employee parking not our decal even if they have a decal. That pisses us off!

Plus we have all these signs at the each from the city, county, and Town of Palm Beach saying No dogs, glass, alcohol, and fishing, but none of these are ever enforced at our beaches. None, people bring dogs all the time, so many early like 7-8am or later at 5 or 6pm, there are always so many drinking beer and wine at the beach, see all the cans and bottle? They fish and no one follows any of these rules or laws at our beach. Right! Where are the cops to enforce all our laws? Why is it that everyone seems to think it is OK to break all these beach rules?

I have lost all respect for our police and these law breakers! I wish we could get the police to enforce the rules at the beach, it is so out of control!

@9:06...you are 100% correct.
It was this commission trio that opened up the beach to dogs when they allowed owners to take poochy to the greenmarket. I said at the time it would just be a matter of time. Sure enough, then they were up on our beach front walking Fido right where we eat. Now they are actually on the sand. Why owners can't go anywhere without their dogs is a mystery to me.

Fishing prohibited at the surf. No drinking allowed.

Can we enforce our rules? We will now have two deputies assigned to the beach maybe they can familiarize themselves with our code. Or start talking about it at city commission meetings.

I doubt it, you never see a cop at 7 or 8am or at 6pm and that is when you see a lot of dogs on the sand and beach, plus tons drinking alcohol all over, no one enforcing anything these days, nothing, we all want to blame the illegal immigrants, but it really falls on our government to enforce ALL laws and they don't enforce anything. Just go to the corner of Lurcerne and Dixie Hwy, there is a sign that says no right on red, but you can see thousands turn right on red daily, the city could make millions, but do not enforce anything, all these drinking and bringing dogs do not care, the rules and laws are for all the rest, not them, and our government is so lax now, they never enforce anything. We live in a society with tons of laws but NO enforcement whatsoever. Very sad, blame our government at every level, they are the main ones to blame.
