What Seven50 Really Means
From the Seven50 website:
It’s a land use, housing, zoning, and transportation Plan for the 7 counties of southeast Florida for the next 50 years but now it's down to 4. Palm Beach County is NOT considering dropping out. There was a mini-demonstration made up of a lot of senior citizens at the County Commission meeting on Tuesday. Extra deputies were called in to shut them up.

- Adds a layer of regional governance
- Encouraged by Federal agencies (your taxes)
- THEIR vision for OUR growth controls all:
- land and water
- plants and animals
- energy
- construction
- human beings
- and more
- Housing choice – LOST
- Unlimited travel by car – LOST
- Private property rights – LOST
- Local County control – LOST
- Low density character of county – LOST
- Voter access to effect change – LOST

Lake worth's commission fits right into the Seven/50 agenda.

Next is the Mayor, she's had too many clues thrown her way to honestly say she missed them

“No way we’re gonna avoid building the COMPACT CITIES that the 21st century needs”.
“There is no way we can dodge the bullet that the CARS are going out, that the AUTOMOBILE dependency is going out, we can’t dodge it in the long run and what I would urge you to do is that whatever we do here…that it be done FAST”.
“These Mega-Regions, anyone of these can Throw an Election in Washington, any one of them”!

Good work on Seven50 in Lake Worth. There is a group fighting it in Palm Beach County right now. I helped to kick it out of Saint Lucie.
