Totally under-estimated--this was one heck of a rain storm--streets flooded all over Lake Worth with winds whipping around. Parts of South Golfview under water--the same with S. Lakeside. On my way back from Boynton Beach, a car had flipped over on Congress Avenue near the hospital. It was on its side on the opposite side of the road. Driving past the college, there was a full rainbow.
It's better than being in New York where it is so cold and so bad that a plane actually skidded off the runway this morning.
This was the forecast today for our area by Wundergound: Rain likely today with a few thunderstorms. High 78F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch, according to Wunderground that totally missed the amount...more like 5 inches, who knows? The Palm Beach Post predicted a 30% chance of rain.
