Allen West heading to Guantanamo

Comment Up

Allen West said,

“As a Member of the House Armed Services Committee, and as a 22-year combat veteran, I look forward to visiting the brave men and women who serve at Guantanamo Bay and seeing firsthand the mission-critical work they are doing to keep our country safe from a terrorist attack. Guantanamo Bay serves a crucial role in our national security and I am confident that my visit will reaffirm my belief in its importance.”

Congressman West will be off to Guantanamo today in order to see first-hand that these terrorist prisoners are being treated humanely under the Geneva Conventions and do not have color TV.

On Tuesday, U.S. Chairman Rep. Buck McKeon, R-Calif said, “The American people are opposed to importing terrorists into the United States, and the facility at Guantanamo continues to be the safest place to house these dangerous terrorists.”

He should head there and stay there.

Ok...if the Obama government closes Guantanamo, let's send these terrorists to live next to you. How's that for an option?

We could put them in the empty Lucerne condos. The downtown merchants would surely profit from their presence!
