Joe Biden still thinks he could have won the race
Democrats were already in big trouble with Biden at the top of the ticket before he was exposed as senile at the debate.Pod Save America host Jon Favreau – a speechwriter to former President Barack Obama – revealed after the election that Biden’s internal polling after the debate had Trump winning by the biggest margin since President Ronald Reagan in the 1984 Election.
“Biden campaign’s own internal polling at the time when they were telling us he was the strongest candidate, showed that Donald Trump was going to win 400 electoral votes,” Favreau said. “That’s what their own internal polling said.”
Trump winning 400 electoral votes would mean that he was winning deep blue states like New Jersey, Illinois, New Hampshire, New York, New Mexico, and Virginia.
Favreau claimed that Biden and his advisors refused to believe the polls after the debate that showed him losing in a landslide. The internal and public polling all pointed to Biden losing in the biggest landslide since the 1980s.
But the President reportedly still believes that he would have beaten Trump if he stayed in the race. 😁
