Mulvehill's fluff piece is a disgrace. She not once touched on taxes. This just proves that the commission does not care one thing about its residents.
WONDERFUL NEWS...The entire list was not published,in particular Johnny Reyes(professional artist] at 1630 N N St. This is a residential area. Has the Arts Overlay District been changed to include this area?
LYNN has the city made another exception to the rules?
A restaurant on South Federal Hwy.,what happened to the rule of no restaurants on South Federal Hwy.
Only Motels serving their own guests.
Guess this will fit right in with the 5 unlicensed Rehab Facility lining up on South Federal Hwy.
Commissioner Mulvehill is an idiot for pushing new business licenses,
without knowing what zoning allows.
Thank you Lynn for keeping us informed. We certainly encourage new business but only ones that are legally zoned! It's so sad watching our city being picked apart by our Commissioners and so-called CM.
In all due respect here, Commissioner Mulvehill only reported on the good things that have and are occurring in LW. She is only reporting on situations as told to her.
Lynn you are correct. Commissioner Mulerhill should question the so-called CM and William Waters regarding the exceptions being made in zoning. This city can no longer follow the road to nowhere!
In all due respect, Commissioner Mulvehill should have spotted this immediately! After all, she is our Commissioner and infractions like these should have jumped off the page and an ivestigation started!
We don't know the circumstances so why don't you investigate about the restaurant and report back. It might be a motel that has a rstaurant grandfathered in.
LYNN, 1630 North N N is zoned residential. I can't imagine any type of business established there. I can't speak on a restaurant on Federal Highway.
Susan Stanton went to great lengths to hire William Waters. He seems to gently bend the rules. We can add him to the list of people that have their heads far up Susan Stanton's *$@%. THANK GOD FOR BLOGS
Apparently an existing motel is being renovated. It hasn't come before P&Z yet on the restaurant from what I was told by a P&Z member about an hour ago. So, this is mentioned to be fair to William Waters whom everyone likes a lot from what I undrstand.
Why would they put a pending business on an approved list? It seems to have already been approved! William Waters will soon realize that after all his years of good work his career will come to a sad end at the manipulating hands of Susan Stanton!
William Waters has been on staff only a short period of time and he is already under investigation by the Inspector General. Thank you Susan Stanton. WAKE UP WILLIAM!
WAKE UP ANONYMOUS--
Do you mean because of Wes Blackman's complaint? Let's see where this goes.
Why would an art business being run out of a residential area matter. Doesn't the mayors' husband run his art business out their house. I seem to remember her saying something to this effect.I could be wrong. More rule bending all the time.
Does Mulvehill have a seperate list of viable businesses?
The mayor and her husband don't own a home in Lake Worth. So if he's illegally running his studiio, it's out of a rented house.
What is new business? When Lucia medical Center,1201,S.Federal Hwy, has Rejected Filing (sun biz).
