Allen West made this remark to the Congressional Black Caucus after Rep. Andre Carson from Indiana made volatile remarks against the Tea Party. He threatened to quit the group over what he called “racially motivated rhetoric” aimed at the Tea Party. West is the only Republican member of the Black Caucus.
