I saw all the signs for the historic district east of federal near 3rd north where they are building a new house, the new Lucerne cottage for $799K.

There are a lot of historic parts of our city near A St. in the south and west, the rich love to promote that their areas alone are the only historic areas of the city, while the historic board has allowed so much demolition of some real historic buildings some of which were on Dixie and in front of the fire station now, they forget that they let all that go to hell and did not try to save it.

The historic district is a joke, the whole city is historic, not just that one area.

I am glad all those who are doing this voted for these two new ones and three year terms so more trailer trash renters can take over that part of the city too, it is all renters and no one cares about homeowners or peace and respect and consideration for their neighbors anymore. We are moving out of Lake Worth, we will not retire in this renters hood filled with crime and drugs!

I don't think that they will ever get $799K for that new small cottage they are building at the corner of N O St and 3rd Ave N. It is a block away from motels that have tons of drug problems and prostitution all the time, what were they thinking?

Cry baby, cry. Sad!

Wrong! They might not get asking but it will sell to gentrified thinking individuals not backward thinking, do nothing caveman.

It's hard to say what it will sell for. "As the saying goes: "There's a sucker born every minute."

So one has to be "gentrified" to think? Let's add arrogant to that. If they think, won't move next to drug house.
