Donald Trump is correct. Kamala Harris is NOT black and never has been.
She is also the descendent of slave owners.
Kamala Harris is the daughter of Donald J Harris, who was born in Jamaica, and Shyamala Gopalan Harris from India.
Kamala Harris’s four-times-paternal-great-grandfather is a guy named Hamilton Brown . He was born in Co Antrim in 1776, the same year of the US Declaration of Independence. Brown emigrated to Jamaica when it was a British colony, and once he arrived, he became an avid slave owner on the sugar plantations in Jamaica.
Hamilton Brown opposed the abolition of slavery in the British Empire and promoted slavery and slave ownership till the day he died.

The mother is listed as Caucasian.
At least on the birth certificate that you posted. Maybe you have another one somewhere.
Her mother is listed as Caucasian and her father's heritage was from Europe and they migrated to Jamaica as I understand it. He is not listed as Black. They were slave owners in Jamaica of Blacks.
Based on the birthplace of the 4th Great Grandfather, it wouldn't be at all unusual for him to have been a slave owner. Her mother, on the other hand could very possibly have been the grand child of indentured servants, which was often the case with South Asian Indians.
She could easily be South Asian, African, and Irish, which would not be at all unusual, given the make-up of the population in Jamaica.
England outlawed Slavery several years before the United States, as did France.
And further to that, Jamaican is not a race but a nationality.
It so happens he says he is Black.
Also, I guess some of his politics rubbed off on Kamala--He was born in Jamaica, where he advised prime ministers and taught Marxist economics.

I honestly don't think anyone really cares what race she is. I put this up because it was interesting. She is a good looking woman.

One thing you should never call Kamala, is African American, that is unless you are going to call all of us African American, since we are all supposedly descendants of Lucy.
You could call her Jamaican American, but I think, most appropriately, you would call her Indian American, or just plain American, since she was raised by her Indian mother, and both her first and middle names are Hindu names.
By the way, Kamala means Lotus. My doctor told me that.
@12:50...that reminds me, my brother several years back did one of those ancestry DNA things and we came from Africa thousands of years ago. Surprise!
My family did that as well. Same result. I was a bit disappointed, since it didn't indicate that we were descendants of any interesting people.
